Chapter 362: Chapter 362: Meeting the Aliens

Xu Yi found himself in a white space, utterly void, exuding a sense of nothingness.

He immediately realized that the organizers had transported him elsewhere.

Had the fact that he possessed a system been exposed?

Now, what should he do?

Could he take down the organizers’ people? Was he capable of that?

In this space, separated by a transparent wall, stood two people outside.

"Sister, are you sure you want to meet this Xu Yi, number 77?"

"Yes, he has already awakened his spiritual power. Although still weak, he already qualifies for a conversation."

"Will you tell him about spiritual power and telekinesis?"

"If I don’t tell him, he’ll find out sooner or later. Telling him now could earn his friendship. After all, even if humanity doesn’t win the second planet, Xu Yi is still qualified to be our comrade. Open the door, I’d like to have a word with him."

Seeing her sister’s insistence, she could only nod and open the protective door.

With a "swoosh," the door in front of Xu Yi opened.

Upon seeing the two ’people’ who appeared, Xu Yi was momentarily stunned.

Did this mean he was seeing the true appearance of aliens?

Were the organizers not stepping out of a comic book?

Xu Yi noticed their gender was quite apparent. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Because, actually, they weren’t much different from humans.

Except their skin was a pale blue on the surface, their height and body shape were no different from humans.

At least, both were around 1.7 meters tall, with physiques slightly smaller than Xu Yi’s, very much in line with human aesthetics.

Though, they seemed to be flat-chested?

Their eyes, unlike those of humans, were very large, almost cartoonish, yet not overly so.

Their facial features had a two-dimensional feel. Perfectly symmetrical, one could even say flawless. There was no feature that seemed out of proportion, giving a very pleasing look.

So, at first glance, Xu Yi felt they had walked out of a comic book.

"Xu Yi, have you seen enough?" The older sister frowned slightly, not quite liking Xu Yi’s scanning-like gaze at her.

She spoke naturally in her civilization’s language, but in Xu Yi’s ears, it was the Mandarin he was familiar with.

"Sorry, my apologies, meeting representatives of an extraterrestrial civilization for the first time is quite exciting," Xu Yi said with an apologetic bow. These were aliens, how could he not take a good look?

"I understand, I also observed you when I first arrived on your planet. Actually, we have many similarities. We initially thought you might be a branch of ours, but our genes are entirely different, and we can’t find evidence of any connection," the younger sister said with a faint smile, speaking earnestly to Xu Yi.

"You can call us the Spirit Race. You all have names, whereas we only have a set of numbers and that." As she spoke, she waved the Star Chart in her hand and continued, "However, I’ve temporarily given myself one, called Spirit God. That’s also my goal, to become the Guardian God of the Spirit Race."

God?

That name is quite something!

Isn’t that self-deification?

Becoming the Guardian God of a race—saying she has great ambitions feels like an understatement.

But a race so technologically advanced still needs a guardian?

"I wonder why you’ve transported me here?" Xu Yi didn’t sense any hostility, so he curiously asked.

Spirit God suddenly closed her eyes, and then said, "What do you feel?"

Xu Yi’s face changed; spiritual power, he sensed spiritual power, and the fact that this force was entirely suppressing his own spiritual power.

"Spiritual power," Xu Yi answered truthfully.

Needless to say, Spirit God also possessed spiritual power, and it was far stronger than his own.

Xu Yi knew that if Spirit God wanted to kill, it would be effortless.

"Indeed, since you’ve awakened, you can sense spiritual power as well." Spirit God retracted her spiritual power, and then floated into the air.

Seeing this, Xu Yi couldn’t help but widen his eyes.

Spiritual power has such applications?

It allows one to levitate, to fly?

"I want to tell you, your human civilization is on the brink of destruction. Originally, there was still 200 years. But since we activated the Star Gate on your planet, causing it to absorb your star’s energy, the time of destruction has shortened to 10 years," Spirit God said straight out, without any intention of concealment.

Hearing Spirit God’s words, Xu Yi couldn’t help but gasp.

The sun is going to explode?

Human civilization now has only 10 years left?

If no one successfully completes the 500-day challenge, won’t human civilization go extinct?

"So, do the global alliances actually know about this?" Xu Yi felt an urge to curse; how could such lethal information be kept under wraps by the countries?

If it weren’t for this challenge, would they have kept it quiet until the sun exploded?

"Yes, they knew that extinction would occur in 200 years, as your technology could deduce this. So, when we offered the use of the second planet, they immediately agreed to our arrangement. However, they did not know it had shortened to 10 years," Spirit God continued plainly, with no thought of disguise.

Only a fool would refuse; your civilization is about to become extinct, then someone comes up saying there’s a planet where you can live, would you refuse?

No matter what the conditions, you’d agree.

Is there anything more important than living?

Only by being alive do you qualify, do you have the conditions to discuss other matters.

This Spirit Race is the benefactor of all humanity!

"Thank you for your generosity. I think when humanity migrates to that planet, everyone will know of your generosity," Xu Yi thought that if the global alliances still didn’t reveal the truth by then, it would be too selfish.

"Let’s talk about that after you’ve successfully completed the 500-day challenge. If no one accomplishes it, it means your humans don’t qualify to survive on the second planet," Spirit God continued.

Xu Yi’s pupils could not help but contract, then he glanced at Spirit God.

Alien miss, is being this straightforward really okay?

Xu Yi suddenly felt his pressure immense; humanity’s fate was entirely upon him and the other challengers.

Xu Yi now understood, Lu Yao and Qin Fan should know about the sun exploding in 200 years. Perhaps, besides them, people from other countries also knew.

The global alliance likely had some arrangements in place.

Even if not for others, for themselves, they must give it their all, fight until the last moment!

Only, was Spirit God’s reason for teleporting him over just to tell him this?

Clearly not.

It must still be related to spiritual power.

Wait, are they not planning to involve him in some experiment, and then dissect him?
