Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster-Chapter 69 - 68: Are You Up to It?
Is there hope with an uncle?
What does that mean?
South Grant watched Nathan Foster sitting behind his desk, starting to scribble something on the exam papers, and she was a bit baffled.
Is he... is he going to tutor me?
"Are you going to tutor me?" South Grant asked uncertainly.
Nathan Foster looked up at this moment, gave her a look as if she was an idiot, and then continued to look down at South Grant’s test paper.
South Grant felt belittled.
Having spent ten years with Nathan Foster in a past life, South Grant knew he was quite capable.
But she had never heard that he knew anything about high school subjects.
"Can you do it?" South Grant asked curiously, raising an eyebrow.
Nathan Foster’s hand holding the pen paused for a moment, then he raised his head.
"You’ll eventually find out whether I can or not," Nathan Foster said, placing the paper back on the table.
South Grant walked over to take a look and saw that the blank spaces were filled with Nathan Foster’s annotations.
South Grant initially just glanced casually, but the more she looked, the more surprised she became.
Nathan Foster’s analysis of these problems was completely different from what the teacher had taught, but it was the most direct and effective solution.
Moreover, it was simple and easy to understand, much simpler than what their math teacher taught as if it were an obscure text.
At the very least, South Grant understood it.
Following Nathan Foster’s methods, it didn’t seem so difficult.
"I really didn’t see it before, but you’re actually a genius,"
Nathan Foster just gave her a casual glance and then pointed at her paper, saying:
"With your current grades, you’re lacking in sciences and not particularly great in liberal arts. This month, you’ll need to come here every day."
South Grant nodded, willing to do anything as long as she could attend Ardenne University.
Nathan Foster then focused on explaining the science subjects to South Grant.
For the same problem, Nathan Foster’s explanation was entirely different from the teacher’s.
As the saying goes, interest is the best teacher, and Nathan Foster’s explanations fully captured South Grant’s interest.
Listening to Nathan Foster explain one problem after another, South Grant didn’t feel bored at all.
As time went by, without realizing it, South Grant had been studying with Nathan Foster all night.
By dawn, she was too exhausted to continue.
While Nathan Foster was explaining, South Grant fell asleep with her head on the desk.
As Nathan Foster turned his head while explaining, he noticed South Grant had already fallen asleep.
Nathan Foster checked the time — it was already 4:30 in the morning.
She wouldn’t be able to sleep long, so Nathan Foster didn’t wake her up again.
Nathan Foster glanced at the bed in the back of the room and then reached to carry South Grant to the bed.
As he laid her down, South Grant suddenly opened her eyes. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
"You fell asleep..." Nathan Foster began to explain, but then South Grant’s left hand clenched into a fist and suddenly aimed a punch at Nathan’s chest.
Nathan Foster frowned as he looked into South Grant’s eyes.
Her punch was quick and fierce; Nathan Foster dodged his chest, and the punch landed on his shoulder.
Nathan Foster stepped back a few paces, frowning deeper.
Feeling the impact, Nathan Foster realized the strength of that punch.
Nathan Foster looked up at South Grant.
Her eyes were cold and deep, like an ancient icy pool.
In that moment, South Grant seemed very strange.
Nathan Foster couldn’t quite pinpoint what was odd about her.
Just as he pondered what was happening, South Grant charged at him again, looking like she was ready to fight with everything she had.
