Chapter 60: Chapter 59: Time to Throw Down

Shawn Grant was kicked in the groin by South Grant last time and hasn’t recovered yet.

He’s become a half-disabled person now.

The hospital said it would take him about two years to heal properly.

Now, he can’t even muster the energy to pursue Fiona Grant.

The groin is a man’s lifeline; having it kicked by South Grant ignited deep resentment within Shawn Grant.

"South Grant wants to let Miles Grant have that fifteen percent share, then Miles Grant will have thirty-five percent, controlling all major decisions. I’m telling you to find a way to persuade South Grant to give me his shares. Then I won’t trouble you anymore."

Fiona Grant listened to Shawn Grant and her eyes darkened.

In the past, South Grant might have listened to her, but he’s different now.

"Sister won’t listen to me. Uncle Shawn, it’s not that I don’t want to help, it’s just that..."

Shawn Grant looked at Fiona Grant with a sinister gaze, "I don’t care what method you use, if you want me to let you go in the future, figure it out yourself!"

After Shawn Grant finished speaking, he gave Fiona Grant a cold glance, "I’m only giving you three days."

After Shawn Grant left, Fiona Grant wiped the tears off her face and stood in front of the mirror.

Her eyes were filled with malice.

South Grant’s hand was injured, yet he continued attending classes.

This time, South Grant and Chester Lynch fought with students from another school, and beat them up badly, earning much respect from fellow students.

Before entering the school, students greeted South Grant as he approached.

"Morning, South."

"South, what happened to your hand?"

"South, call your brothers next time you need help."

South Grant felt uneasy as prior names for him were mostly "Deadbeat" or "Sissy".

Unexpectedly, one fight turned him into a sensation.

South Grant responded to each greeting and was headed for the campus when he heard a car horn honking behind him.

Looking over, he saw a white Hummer with red lettering parked not far away.

Ivan Keller got out of the car and approached South Grant respectfully:

"Young Master Seth is looking for you."

Seth?

"What’s up with Seth?" South Grant asked anxiously.

"He won’t cooperate with the doctors and only wrote your name."

Upon hearing this, South Grant didn’t hesitate, hopping into the car and heading to the hospital with Ivan Keller.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Nathan Foster was sitting on the sofa and Seth Grant was on the bed, both staring at each other.

South Grant rushed to Seth Grant’s side, scrutinizing him and checking his arm’s injury, relieved to find he was okay.

Nathan Foster left the room once South Grant entered.

South Grant ignored him and tenderly asked Seth Grant:

"Seth, what’s the matter? Why won’t you listen to the doctors?"

Seth Grant quickly wrote on his sketchpad: "What happened to your arm?"

South Grant knew Seth was worried, so she paused before saying:

"I stumbled and fell yesterday, but it’s nothing serious, I’ll be fine in a few days."

Seth Grant pursed his lips and didn’t speak, looking at South Grant for a while before writing:

"Who was that?"

South Grant hesitated and said, "That’s our uncle."

"I don’t want an uncle; stay away from him!" Seth Grant wrote messily, showing his dislike for Nathan Foster.

"Alright, alright, if you don’t want him, then neither do I." South Grant comforted Seth Grant, and as the IV was inserted into Seth’s hand, South Grant sent Nathan Foster a message.

"Did you provoke Seth?"

South Grant sent it and quickly got a response: "Yes."

"What did you do?"

South Grant waited for his reply, but after a while, received nothing, so she sent another:

"Once Seth recovers, I’ll take him out of the hospital."

"Oh."

"Also, I’ve informed Miles Grant about the shares, I’m sure Shawn Grant will make a move soon."

"Oh."

South Grant then asked him about the police matters from last night, but his replies were all "Mm, oh", igniting South Grant’s anger and she retorted:

"Stop giving me ’Mm, oh’ responses, chatting with me can’t possibly get you excited, can it?"
