The main hall doors opened, and everyone walked in slowly, weighed down by exhaustion after the long battle. Starfire moved sluggishly while holding her injured shoulder, Robin removed his mask to wipe the sweat from his face, and Beast Boy had transformed into a turtle out of sheer fatigue.
"I... I can't feel my legs anymore..." Cyborg muttered as he made his way to the nearest chair.
But just as they were all about to sit... they heard a familiar sound filling the room:
"Zzzzz... Grrrrr... Zzzzz..."
Everyone turned toward the couch, only to find Blade sprawled out comfortably, one hand under his head, one leg draped over the couch's back, his mouth wide open as he snored loudly—like an old truck engine struggling to start.
"...Is he serious?" Robin asked, his face frozen in disbelief.
Raven placed a hand over her face and muttered coldly, "We fought to our last breath... while this guy fell asleep before we even got here?"
Beast Boy transformed into a cat and crept closer to Blade, meowing loudly in his ear... but Blade didn't even flinch!
Cyborg glanced at Robin with a mischievous smirk. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Robin grinned wickedly...
Moments later, suddenly, the emergency alarm blared at full volume, filling the hall with deafening noise. Red warning lights flashed ominously!
Blade shot up from the couch, screaming,
"HOLY—!! Who blew up the place?! Are we under nuclear attack?! Is Slade back?! Is Batman here to reclaim the taxes I stole from him?!"
As Blade ran around in a panic, searching for his weapon, the rest of the team collapsed in laughter behind him.
Cyborg, standing by the control panel, wiped away tears of laughter and said, "Relax, Sleepyhead of the Century... it was just a prank!"
Blade glared at them beneath his mask before muttering, "Screw all of you... I was dreaming about dating Wonder Woman... and you ruined everything!"
Beast Boy fell to the floor laughing. "Hahaha! Wait... WONDER WOMAN?! How the hell did you even get that dream?! I don't even get good dreams!"
Blade smirked confidently and said, "Beast Boy... some of us were just born to be legends."
The whole team burst into laughter again after watching Blade freak out over the fake emergency alarm. But amid all the jokes, not everyone was enjoying the moment... especially Raven.
She stood at the corner, her half-lidded eyes giving the impression of disinterest, yet she was listening to every word. And when she heard him say he was dreaming about dating Wonder Woman... she froze for a second.
She narrowed her eyes at him and spoke in a quiet yet dangerously restrained tone:
"Oh, so you were dreaming about dating Wonder Woman? Is that your idea of a fun time?"

The laughter immediately died down. Everyone turned to look at Raven, sensing the sudden... shift in the atmosphere.
Blade, unaware of the danger approaching, laughed and joked:
"What? Yeah, I mean... she's strong, smart, beautiful, and from a legendary world! How could anyone not admire her?!"
Raven, trying to remain calm but with her eyes starting to faintly glow, crossed her arms and spoke in a sharper tone:
"If you admire her that much... why don't you just go to her then?!"
Silence fell over the room... Beast Boy and Cyborg exchanged glances, while Starfire placed a hand over her mouth as if watching a live drama. Robin raised an eyebrow in surprise but remained silent.
Blade, now realizing he might have made a mistake, smirked mischievously, trying to ease the tension:
"Huh? Raven, is this what I think it—"
Before he could finish his sentence, a surge of dark energy flared around Raven, causing the lights in the room to flicker for a moment. Without another word, she turned and walked out, heading to her room... but the door slammed shut behind her with such force that it sent a clear message!
Beast Boy raised his hands in shock.
"Ooooh, dude, you're in BIG trouble!"
Cyborg nudged Blade's shoulder.
"Well, it was a fun night, my friend, but I think you're going straight to hell tonight!"
Blade sighed, wiping his face with his hand.
"Great... I just pissed off a girl who can send me to another dimension... I thought I liked living dangerously, but this is a whole new level of risk!"
Standing up, Blade quickly made his way to Raven's room. Once he arrived, he started knocking repeatedly, but there was no answer. He sighed, then leaned his head against the door and spoke in a half-serious, half-joking tone:
"You know, ignoring me like this makes me feel like a villain in a poorly written romance drama..."
No response. Heavy silence. But he wasn't the type to give up easily.
"Listen, Raven... it was just a dream, just a joke! You know I say stupid things all the time, it wasn't serious."
Suddenly, the door swung open with force!
Raven stepped out, surrounded by a dark aura, her eyes glowing with fury, and her expression revealing emotions rarely seen on her. But the strangest thing? Her voice was unusually loud, as if her anger had erupted beyond her control.
"Just a joke? JUST A JOKE?! Do you realize how stupid you are sometimes?!"
For the first time in a while, Blade felt like the situation was truly not in his favor. He smiled nervously, raising his hands in surrender:
"Whoa, okay, didn't expect this level of reaction... can we maybe lower the demonic energy a bit?"
But Raven wasn't done. She stepped closer, pointing a finger at him angrily, as if about to cast a spell on him!
"You never think before you speak! You do everything randomly, like the whole world is just one big joke to you!"
"And you always make fun of everything! Even when people are trying to be serious with you!"
"And the problem?! The problem is that you don't even realize when to stop or understand people at all!"
Blade, who was about to respond, was forced to take a step back as the black aura flared even brighter. He realized that one wrong word now might send him to another dimension!
"Alright, alright! I admit I talk too much without thinking sometimes, but... can we take a break? I'm pretty sure I deserve a chance to defend myself!"
Raven didn't respond immediately. She just kept staring at him, arms crossed, her eyes still glowing with anger. It felt like she was waiting for a real explanation—not just another joke.
Blade took a deep breath, then spoke in a calmer tone:
"Look, Raven... I know I can be an idiot sometimes, and I say a lot of annoying things. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the people around me. You're... special. More than I'd openly admit."
A brief silence... then suddenly, the dark aura around her dimmed slightly. Raven sighed, rolling her eyes as she muttered:
"You're lucky I don't feel like destroying you right now... but I haven't forgotten this!"
Blade smirked mischievously and said in a low voice:
"Sooo... does that mean you have feelings for me?"
And suddenly—BOOM! A small burst of dark energy sent him flying backward, slamming into the wall!
"Don't push it, Blade!"
Beast Boy, who had been watching from afar, laughed and said:
"Well, I guess that's a love lesson of a special kind, right, Cyborg?!"
"Cyborg?!"
Beast Boy turned to see Cyborg holding Starfire back, preventing her from jumping in and saying something.
Meanwhile, Raven walked into her room and shut the door behind her with force. She took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm in her mind. But she couldn't stop thinking about what had just happened.
She sat on her bed, frowning, as she muttered to herself:
"If you think I have feelings for you... then why don't you do something about it?"
She gripped her pillow, squeezing it as if trying to crush her emotions with her hands. But she couldn't deny that Blade was getting into her head in ways she never expected.
"Why is he always such an idiot... but somehow knows exactly when to say the right thing?!"
She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to shut it all out, but she couldn't stop herself from remembering his confident gaze before she walked away from him in battle. The way he believed in her—even when she wasn't sure of herself.
"Ugh! Why am I thinking about this now?!"
She pulled the blanket over her head, trying to stop the whirlwind of thoughts racing through her mind. But even as she tried to convince herself that she didn't care... there was a small voice inside her that whispered—she cared more than she was willing to admit.

Blade stood in front of the door, hesitating whether he should try again or not. But he was surprised by the sound of Starfire behind him, having finally freed herself from Cyborg with difficulty, as she approached with her warm smile.
"Blade, it seems that Raven likes you."
Blade's eyes widened slightly, and he scratched the back of his head, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Huh? Starfire, how do you know that? I don't think it's that simple..."
Suddenly, Starfire pulled out a pink-covered book titled "Love and Romance Among Humans." She eagerly flipped through the pages and began reading aloud:
"When a girl feels anger and confusion toward someone for no apparent reason, it indicates that she has special feelings for him! And if she reacts nervously to his actions, it means she doesn't know how to express them!"
Blade stared at her in shock, then snatched the book from her hands, flipping through its contents. He then turned toward the reader and said with heavy sarcasm:
"Oh, fantastic! So love is just like a bad drama movie?! All these weird behaviors mean she likes me? Great then, dear reader, I'll take the girl you love!"
Starfire nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes! Exactly like the romance novels I have read!"
Blade glanced at her, then at Raven's closed door, before sighing and muttering to himself:
"Alright... if these are the rules, then I've been playing the game completely wrong."
