At least, that is what appeared to be happening.

The truth of the matter was that Aoni had begun going back and forth with his Attribute Notice again.

'What the actual fuck is going on here? Why are the names of what I find different?'

It's not that the names are different, but instead that Terrians don't understand the actual names of native monsters and creatures of Genovia

' So basically, I can see what things are called for real, like their TRUE names or something of that nature?'

The User isn't strong enough to have that information

'Huh? Bullshit, give me something; I know damn well you have ways to skirt those bullshit guidelines of yours!' Aoni screamed mentally while completely aware of the multiple sets of eyes staring at him intently, waiting for answers.

'…'

The species names shown on the User's Summon's Display and Crafter's Display are just that, species names used by the natives of Genovia to classify and categorize monsters, beings, and creatures

The system functions much in the same way as the scientific naming system used by Terrians; however, names hold power in Genovia, and as such, the naming system utilizes the importance of bloodlines and hundreds of other factors that the User isn't privy to

'And let me guess, the only reason I am able to learn these names is because they are referenced in my Displays.'

Correct, there is zero use in this knowledge for someone of the User's level, yet because the User's crafting abilities and some other factors deem it necessary, the User has been given access to the Genovian Species Classification system.

"Sigh, fuck…" unknowingly speaking aloud, Aoni cupped his face with both hands and sighed heavily before dropping his shoulders and peering out at his family.

'Am I even allowed to bring this information up to my family?' Feeling like his head was going to burst, Aoni asked.

Yes, but it will be a fruitless endeavor, and it makes no difference if they know or not, as there are only a handful of Terrians who have an actual use for this information, primarily those with a Beast Taming Attribute

"Anyone here ever heard of the Genovian Species Classification System?" Completely ignoring the last line of text given by his AN, Aoni dropped his hands and looked around the dining room table.

Unfortunately, instead of responses, all he got in return was a bunch of blank faces.

"Fantastic; well, the reason I asked about the on-record name for that golden meat is that, for the longest time, I simply called it Chimera meat; however, when I used the materials from the monster's corpse in one of my crafting projects, I learned it had a name…Articus-CervusKumoni

"What now? Artic, who dah curvy kilowatt?" Blinking her long lashes several times, everyone around the table could practically see steam billowing out of Clara's head as her eyes darted around the room in confusion.

"Articus-CervusKumoni, that was what I learned to be the name of the monster from which all that golden meat came. It is not Polar-Horn Bear, and that is why I am confused here. We all know it's common knowledge that things wouldn't exactly be called the same thing in Genovia as here. I mean, dogs are dogs and whatnot, but that's all thanks to the weird language transfer using the Flume and being a Traveler brings."

"How did you come upon this knowledge? Do you have an inspection passive?" Ant asked while picking up one of the horns identified by Archie to be from the same creature as the meat.

"Well…uh, how do I say this without making you guys freak out…"

Just tell them you have a Crafter's Display; all Tradeskill Professions have something similar, nothing to be concerned about

You have a special display that allows you to observe the information pertaining to anything you create, short and to the point. Don't add extra information like the User being able to manipulate the stats; just keep it simple

"I have a third Display thanks to my Attribute, called a Crafter's Display, basically so long as I craft an item, I can see all its information, and…hold on," Coming up with an idea, Aoni swiftly left the dining room, ran upstairs to his bedroom, grabbed the clothing he wore into the Flume yesterday and returned downstairs before presenting the tunic to Archie and sitting back down.

Next, he reopened his inventory, took out his ever-trusty pencil, flipped over the paper given to him with his information on it, and began writing down the information shown on his display for the pants still in his hand.

4: Durable Articus-CervusKumoni Suede Trousers

Durability: E+

1: Minor: Enchantment of Warmth

2: Minor: Defense Enchantment

3: Crafter's Brand

Scratching down the data shown in his Crafter's Display, without forgetting to add a lil something extra courtesy of his AN's reminder, Aoni quickly handed it over to Charlotte, who looked at it with a faint smile tugging at her lips and passed it around the table.

"Weird…very weird, and you're saying this happens with everything you craft?" Anthony asked while passing the paper to Lea.

"Yeah, I have yet to come across a name I recognize, let alone a monster I learned about in the Academy, which makes it incredibly difficult not only to fight but plan against any attacking forces." Leaning back in his seat, Aoni reached over and smacked the shit out of Clara's hand as she tried to snatch the trousers from in front of him sneakily.

Sure, he knew she didn't have any lustful thoughts and probably…maybe…had innocent/curious intentions, but either way, Aoni wasn't about to have Miss play with weapons, fiddling around with his favorite pair of pants near Vestr.

"I guess that kind of makes you a pioneer, doesn't it, little brother," Leaning forward and propping her chin on her hands, Cathy said with a smile.

"I mean, sure, you could say that, but were you not paying attention when I said the whole first 2 weeks or so, I was practically snowed in and unable to explore my territory?" Rolling his eyes, Aoni ignored the soft chuckle of his non-Traveler Sister and looked toward his Dad.
