Legendary Oops System-Chapter 17: Mission: Defeat a True Awakened Beast!
When the first beast came, White was standing in wait, the carcass of the five beasts behind him.
That naturally made him look like a wall from the beast reaching for the food.
But his eyes quickly opened up, his mysterious aura fading as he looked to the side and noticed another beast was stepping out of the forest.
Turning to his right side, another beast stepped out.
’Three...Three savage beasts!?’
He wondered in shock, body unconsciously shifting to a battle state.
The beasts were all drawn to the 5 carcasses behind, but seeing White standing protectively before it.
It stirred one understanding:
He was a beast who had managed to arrive here before them and was now trying to keep it all to itself.
In the next moment,
ROOAR!
Roars burst forth as all three beasts charged towards White, whose heart began pounding, resulting in an astral line appearing around his arms.
’Let the True Hunt Begin!’

BOOOOM!
A fist glowing with astral light slammed into a claw, blowing it back, yet before it moved too far, the punch was released into a hand that grabbed at the claw.
White jerked the beast claw forward, sending it reeling forward, and in the next moment, threw an uppercut with his second fist.
BOOOOM!
Brain matter exploded into the air as his hands completely tore through the beast’s head from its jaw.
SLASSSH!
He was roughly blown away as a claw slammed into his back, peeling off both skin and flesh.
He managed to spin mid-air and land on the ground, crouched.
He remained there only for a second before he dashed forward.
BAAAAAANG!
The punch slammed into the beast’s abdomen before it could even react, blowing it back.
White’s other hand moved, grabbing at the back of its neck, and pulling down.
CRRUNCH!
The sickening sound of the skull being crushed as his knee, glowing with astral light, slammed into the beast’s face.
A crack appeared on its face, spilling blood.
Heaving the beast’s heavy body, he roughly threw it behind him, as a sword-like tongue pierced through the beast, carving open a gigantic hole in its chest.
Racing forward with speed, the sword-tipped tongue struck forward once more, but White jumped high into the air, avoiding it.
His right leg was stretched mid-air, glowing with powerful astral light, and as he fell swung down his legs with all of his might.
It landed right on the lizard’s head, burying it into cracks in the ground, which were quickly filled up by its own blood.
White quietly took his legs back, crouching down and exhaling heavily.
A couple of bloody marks decorated his skin, but they weren’t worth him using his level-up card to regenerate.
"I’ll wait to kill some more beasts, then use it."
He mused quietly.
All of a sudden, he noticed the ground beneath him quivering, like a mini-shockwave, and his eyes immediately snapped upwards.
There, he noticed birds quickly flying away into the sky, as the forest began rumbling.
"Looks like it’s gonna be a long night..."
White mused, shifting into a battle stance.
His focused eyes looked in front of him, seeing that approaching shadow.
A realization hit him, sending his eyes widening.
’It’s fast,’
VROOOM!
It towered over him massively, its massive claws brandishing as it cleaved downward upon White, who swiftly reacted, rolling away.
BAAANG!
It was like a bomb had been unleashed on the ground as the beast’s massive claws drew deep gaps into the ground.
Rolling to a crouched height, White turned forward, and his shocked expression faded into a grin.
"Finally... an awakened beast."
The beast before him was humongous, almost like a bear, except it oozed an incredible amount of shadow.
Slowly it turned, every step of it leading to a loud thump.
He watched as it rose to its feet, its massive frame casting a shadow that completely devoured White.
Its paws widened, showing a total of five claws, burning with shadows.

White mused, the ground beneath him shuddered right after his words, and he blitzed towards the beast.
ROOOOOOOOAR!
It unleashed a powerful roar before it also pounced at him, cleaving forward.
Shadow and Limitless energy clashed, sending a powerful wave of light into the sky.

The explosion was ceaseless for five minutes straight.
So much so, it drew Nova’s attention, prompting her to run back towards where it came from.
She could feel it was the gathering, and getting closer, her heart skyrocketed.
The area, which was before a small encircle, had turned into a large circle, with hundreds of trees having been blown through.
The ground was covered in this insanely large claw mark, brimming with a suffocating, shadowy aura in its depth.
The booming noise had stopped, but her speed only increased even more.
She eventually came before the burning fire, and there was a scene that made her unconsciously cover her mouth with her hands.
There was a massive creature on its back, with various parts of its body pressed in unnaturally as if it had been brutally assaulted by something, with enough force to push back parts of its body in.
What made her stomach lurch was the upper side of the creature’s head, which had been completely flattened.
But even more shocking and gut-wrenching was the figure kneeling by the head of the creature.
He was on both knees, his body arced forward, the moon’s light falling upon him.
It was White, covered in pitch-black blood.
But even through that, she could see the claw marks that covered his skin.
They were so deep that his bones were visible, a gigantic line on his chest down to his abdomen, which led to her sighting his squirming internal organs.
One of his hands had been completely ripped off his shoulder, while the other had the fingers reduced to a bloody stump.
"You..."
Her words seemed to awaken him, and he slowly turned his head from the sky to look at her.
The sight of it made her unconsciously take a step back.
His eyes...They were not blue, or the usual dark, but a bizarre white, as if his eyes had rolled back to the back of his head, like one fully drowned in pleasure.
His face had also been badly mutilated, with three deep gashes.
"I’m Fine Nova. Just...savoring the pleasure."
He whispered, a wild grin spreading across his face as his eyes lit in intense excitement that Nova couldn’t understand at all.
Only one word came to mind.
Mad.
