Legendary Architect of Apocalypse-Chapter 95: The boy is coming
"Z-Zesten... He is one of the Domain Lords of the Shadow Domain," the man exclaimed, his voice louder than usual, to show his sincerity.
He watched Elias intently, observing his reactions while hoping to discern some clue as to what this terrifyingly human would do next.
Elias studied the map, his brow furrowing as he located the place marked as the Shadow Domain. It was a region in the central part of the Land of Fables, but it was marked as one of the most forbidden places on the map.
While other domains were also dangerous, the Shadow Domain was in an entirely different league altogether, since it didn’t just have one Domain Lord.
According to the description on the map, the Shadow Domain had at least five Domain Lords. The map advised them to stay away from that place at any cost, as the Domain Lords of the Shadow Domain were a nightmare level existence.
"It’s a Domain that we call the King’s Land," the man explained, feeling slightly nervous at Elias’s silence. "Lord Zesten is considered one of the Kings of the Shadow Domain after his father passed away, passing all his experience and strength to him."
"Why does someone like that want me? I don’t think I have made myself known in this land. Even if he hates my family for some reason, why would he want someone like me? How would he even know about me being a part of that family in the first place?"
He was sure that he didn’t go around flexing his identity token ever since he entered this land. He had only once revealed the family badge, and that was also to the ego. It was impossible for this to be leaked.
For a moment, he even wondered if it was another way for Professor Grey to be messing with him. Did he already leak the news about his arrival? But even that felt unlikely.
"I don’t know the details of the matter. I only followed instructions. The only person that might have known about it, is..." He grew silent, his gaze shifting over to the lifeless beastly creature in the distance.
Only that woman was closer to Zesten, and had the possibility of knowing the details about this matter. He was only a guide at best, and even a porter at times.
Elias scrolled the map back, and kept it back in his storage. Even though the answer wasn’t what he was looking for, he didn’t regret killing that woman for a single moment.
"That’s it for the question," Elias said, as he raised the gun.
"You fuc-" the man mumbled, but the rest of his word was drowned in the loud noise that came from the gun. He fell on the ground, his eyes left open in disbelief until the end.
Even though he had expected something like this, since no one could let their enemies leave just because they switched sides, it still felt surreal when he was destroyed.
"You better devour them while you have a chance. If they aren’t devoured for a long time, they will return to the forest of fables and start waiting for their next life. It would be such a waste of resources," Astralious suggested, his gaze occasionally shifting back and forth between Elias and the gun in his hand.
He had seen that weapon in action, and it had left him at a loss. He knew that Elias was somehow able to merge with the essence of fables, but it was the first time he had seen him merge the essence with something other than himself.
The more he observed the boy, the more bizarre he appeared. Even a high tier creator couldn’t achieve something like this, but here he was, a boy who had awakened for less than a week, achieving something impossible.
"I know what to do with them." Elias answered, as he opened a storage portal again. This time, he brought out more things that he had taken from Leo. And almost all the things that he brought were some kind of weapon machinery.
He had two storage abilities at the moment, with only one being a temporary ability. The problem was that this temporary ability was holding most of his items, and he couldn’t shift them to his permanent storage since only things of his creation could be kept there.
Now, he came up with a better idea to deal with them. If he couldn’t keep anything other than his creation in his permanent storage, then he just had to upgrade these things as his creation. He even had the materials sent straight to him.
He picked up the sniper rifle that he had used to kill the Professor. He placed it over the grotesque beastly creature that was lying on the ground, its essence slowly starting to disperse. Before it could completely disperse, he started the merger process.
He moved over to other fables, and started merging them with other materials that he believed would be useful for him in the future.
In the end, he called forth the Fighter Jet that was possessed by an ego, saving the best for the last. He placed the last fable, that had left him impressed in the battle, on top of the jet.
"What is this? What just happened while I was not here?" The voice of the ego echoed in his head, feeling as if a part of its memories were missing.
He was sure that they were being chased by a monster. And now that monster was nowhere to be seen. Instead, there were other strange fables that felt just as strong.
"I’ll tell you everything later," Elias answered, before starting another merger.
Multiple mergers were taking place simultaneously, all around Elias who was in the center of the twenty storms that had separate origins.
"Just what is this boy?" Away from the scene, the old man watched the storms. In the last few moments, he had seen the most shocking things of his life that he still couldn’t believe.

Even if he was a high tier fable, he felt scared of the storms, a fear that seemed to originate from his core.
Elias didn’t know that he was being watched. He was simply watching a spectacle of storms around him, like a chill guy who had discovered that his ability was useful even in this land, now that he had found a cheat.
Even though the storms felt somewhat loud, there was something even louder. He could even hear his stomach growl, even though he had eaten a short time ago. The merger process, when applied on multiple items, made him even more hungry, as if strength for the merger was being taken from him.
He opened his temporary storage and brought out something to eat, but as he was about to put it in his mouth, he heard a voice that made him stop.
"Did you find that? Why has there been no update from your side?"
He frowned and looked down, noticing that the voice was coming from the device on the ground that was being held by that man until his death.
He picked up the device on his left hand, and pressed the only button on it. "Can you hear me?"
"Why is your voice sounding so different? It doesn’t matter. Answer me. Have you found that human? Lord Zesten is waiting for the update!"
"Tell him that the human is coming there. So he doesn’t have to worry," Elias answered, before he took his fingers off the device before using it in his temporary storage as well.
