Elias saw that the jet was damaged, and the damage seemed to be more than he expected it to be.

There were clear signs of damage all around it, with parts of the jet missing, as if they were bitten off. The wings of the jet also had deep claw marks. It was clear that the jet hadn’t returned without a fight.

That still didn’t seem to be the biggest problem. Instead, the problem was that the Jet hadn’t returned alone. He could see someone stop the jet, that kept hitting the glass as if trying to break it. As the Jet was summoned back, another existence had come back with it.

The damage on the jet seemed to be caused by that thing, which looked far from a human. It was clearly a beast, as it had a gryphon-like wings on its back, along with the body of a lion. It had sharp claws that seemed to match the marks on the wings.

The claws of the beast were so sharp, that cracks were starting to develop on the glass of the Fighter Jet, on which Elias hadn’t managed to leave a single scratch when he attacked it.

Elias was worried that the jet might have tried to return to the Forest of Fables, and might be attacked by the Professors. The reality was far different from his assumption, but not better, especially since the beast looked at him, like a prey.

He had caught the attention of the beast, the moment that thing was summoned here with the Fighter Jet.

At the same time, he was able to hear the voice of Ego, even though he wasn’t in contact with it. "You fool, why did you bring me back! I was trying to keep it away from you!"

Even if the Ego didn’t know that Elias could hear him now, he still complained as he prepared to fly again to take that beast away by distracting him. It was certain that Elias was going to be hurt if he didn’t take this thing away.

Elias was surprised by the fact that he could truly hear the thoughts of the ego. Was it because of the Creation Comprehension? He wasn’t sure. The only thing he knew was that he seemed to have misunderstood that ego in this case.

Even though he hadn’t asked the ego to protect him, he did it willingly. He didn’t run away after abandoning him, intending to return to find Aliath. Instead, it had left to stop the beastly creature from attacking him.

As the two of them could fly, the Jet distracted that beast and took him away to fight, even if it was to be destroyed.

Its condition didn’t look much better either, as it looked like the glass could break at any moment. Elias couldn’t let that happen, as his creation was his treasure.

He slowly stepped back, raised his right hand, and uttered a command, "Store."

Before the glass of the jet could be broken, he kept it in his storage using his new ability. When he did that, he could hear the complaints of the ego becoming even more fierce as it felt like its body wasn’t under its control.

The last thing that ego saw was Elias’s face, as he started disappearing. With the disappearance of the Ego, the beastly creature fell on the ground.

It quickly balanced itself, as its eyes were filled with bloodlust while looking at Elias. This was the prey that he was after, and finally there were no distractions.

"It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted fresh meat. I’m going to savor you for a long time," the beast said as it began transforming into a human form.

Its gryphon-like wings remained, even in its humanoid form. Instead of hands, it had sharp claws that could slice through thick blocks of stone.

"You can speak?" Elias asked, stepping back as he watched the beast transform into a humanoid form that looked more like a woman than a man.

After transforming, the woman seemed to summon a white dress that materialized around her.

"Analysis," Elias whispered under his breath, even as he directed a question to the beast.

"Of course, I can speak. Did you think I am as incompetent as those insignificant fables?" the woman asked, reaching out her hand.

A heavy gust of wind swept through the area, accompanied by an object flying at high speed. Only when the object came closer was Elias able to see that it was a heavy sword.

The heavy sword was at least ten feet tall, that felt even taller than the woman when she was in her humanoid form.

Elias was less interested in that sword and more interested in the details of that woman. Is she what was called a Soul Beast! Was this the kind of thing that he had to suppress?
