"May I ask why you would interfere when you're not allowed, rather than skip that event entirely?" Astralious raised an eyebrow. "What is it about Earth that makes you want to go there so badly?"

"Earth is no more than the lowest-tier world. It won't have any treasures that could be of use to you. For someone of your level, isn't that place no different than a dumpster?"

Elias was willing to interfere in the affairs of the Academy to save his soul beast. That was understandable to Astralious.

What he absolutely didn't understand was why Elias didn't simply take the easier route by staying behind, instead of doing the more complicated thing.

He even said that he would've skipped it if it were any other world, but not for Earth. Just what was so special about the lowest-tier world?"

"A dumpster, huh." Elias rested his head on the chair's backrest and stared blankly at the ceiling. "I guess you're not half wrong."

"Have you been there before?" Astralious asked, finding something wrong with the way Elias talked even when accepting that he was right.

It was less like a person of the prominent families who would look down on those useless worlds. It was more like someone who was reminiscing about a place.

Elias's gaze slowly recovered and he answered, "Earth is the world where Lyra was born. I think it should be helpful for her to go there. Even dumpsters have their uses, after all. Right?"

His answer did make sense for Astralious and there seemed to be no flaws in it. But still, Astralious felt like something was wrong with his initial reaction. He couldn't be certain if he was just overthinking at this point.

He opened his lips to ask further, but looking at the tired look in Elias's eyes, he closed his mouth. He didn't ask what he initially wanted to ask.

"If she was actually born on earth, then it might actually be helpful for her to go there." He simply nodded, putting an end to the topic.

Elias closed his tired eyes and his breathing relaxed. Astralious didn't know if Elias was going to sleep right here, or if he was just thinking. But he didn't disturb him.

Knock Knock~

Only a few minutes had passed since Elias closed his eyes when there was a heavy knock on the door.

The mansion was so big that just a knock shouldn't be loud enough to be heard across the entire palace. Still, that one knock echoed through the entire mansion.

Even Lyra opened her eyes, feeling the palace vibrate with the knocking. It was like someone had slammed the door with a heavy hammer.

Elias also opened his eyes slowly. "Did the family send someone else? No. They wouldn't come after knocking. They would be more like the uninvited bastards from before."

He walked over to the door, which trembled violently with each knock. He opened the door, watching a fist come straight for his face.

"Ah, watch out!" The person on the other side suddenly called out, trying to abruptly stop the fist.

Elias tilted his body sideways, watching the fist stop right next to his face.

He observed the person outside, finding his presence strange. It was definitely not a Professor, or even someone from his family.

Instead, it was a young man only a few years older than him, wearing the robe of the Creator Class.

It wasn't strange for a student to be in the residential area allotted to influential students, but what was truly strange was for someone of the creator class to be in the area assigned to the destroyer class.

"Can I help you?" he asked the young man whose silver lush green hair came down to his shoulders.

"I thought you were sleeping. So I had to knock more forcefully. I didn't expect you to open the door so abruptly. I'm so glad that I didn't accidentally hit you," the fifteen years old boy placed a hand on his chest and sighed in relief.

"I'm also glad that you didn't accidentally hit me," Elias answered, implying that he might have subconsciously killed the boy if the attack had connected.

It would've been a mess to deal with another mess when he was already in such a deep mess, so he was glad.

The meaning behind his words felt completely different for the green haired boy. The boy thought that Elias was glad that he wasn't hurt and his face was safe.

"Are you Elias Ashborn?" the boy asked, extending his hand in a friendly gesture.

Elias simply watched the hand, but didn't reciprocate the gesture, leaving the hand hanging. The boy could only awkwardly retract his hand.

"I am Jason. I was sent here by Lady Sarah."

"Am I supposed to know either of you?" Elias frowned. "Is she a Professor?"

He barely even remembered the name of his classmates in all this mess, but this was still the first time for him to hear these names.

"Cough, that is a good joke. But please be serious now. Lady Sarah wants to meet you. She has told me to bring you to her."

'What was a joke in this? Who is this Sarah? And am I really supposed to know her?' Elias grew more confused with Jason's strange reaction to his words. He was absolutely certain that he knew Sarah for some reason.

In any case, he didn't want to leave this place at night. He wasn't even sure if it wasn't a trap. There were already so many people that wanted him dead. He didn't want to give them more ammunition by leaving the safe space at night.

"I am sleepy. I don't want to go anywhere to meet anyone. Please tell your Lady Sarah that I will meet her next time."

He stepped back and grabbed the door to close it, but Jason grabbed the door and pushed it back. When it came to raw strength, Jason didn't lack in comparison to Elias.

"I don't think you understand what I just said. Lady Sarah wants to meet you," Jason said, his voice growing colder.
