Legacy Of Fire: Chronicles Of The F-ranked Anomaly-Chapter 114: Final Clash Part 3: Approaching Threat…
"Charge!"
Theo and the other warriors were facing the remaining Orcs, and they were doing their best to ensure that no one would remain.
Thanks to Pryion’s help, the Orcs were reduced like they were nothing- the knight had his flair. Each strike was calculated and well landed, making it look like an elegant dance on the bafflefield.
"We are going to win this!" Michael smiled as he smashed his way through the number of Orcs, his golden aura seemed to follow him like a trail wherever he landed a blow.
"Ze-haa Cut!"
A beautiful thrust of blue flame could be seen pushing down the Orcs, and Raya was moving like she was an entirely different unit.
"These beasts are getting more annoying than we give them credit for."
She moved closer to see if she would be able to take more of the Orcs down.
A gust of wind caught her attention, she turned to look at Theo. The warrior was doing his best, equipped with a physique like his, along with his strategic mind.
"He is not even an SS-rank, but the way he is handling the fights coming his way seems like it won’t be long before he reaches a level that no one would be able to ignore."
"Arggh!"
Raya was startled by the roar of an Orc. She turned, trying to make sure she was going to take it down, but even before she was able to land a hit.
A blade stopped the Orc on its track, the sword went right through the Orc’s face.
She turned to see Pryion, who was close to her.
She looked down at the sword; the heat from it alone was enough to kill anything it touched.
"Thank you..."
She was looking at Pryion, she got a slight nod from the knight. Still in awe of the entity’s immense power, there was no telling what more it could do.
Raya turned back to the battlefield, She saw that the Orcs were still flooding the field.
"There isn’t an end to them, is there?" She drew her sword, ready for another attack.
"Fine, then I will just keep working with them until there is nothing left of them."
Raya took her position, she was about to attack the Orcs again, when suddenly a golden sparkle passed her.
"Coming through!"
A voice echoed, and she turned to see Michael bolting for the Orcs.
He rammed through them like they were nothing but piles of trash.
It was then that they looked up to the battlefield to see that the 300 Orcs, all of them, had all dealt with...
"Niw that’s progress."
Theo smiled. He was looking at the corpses there, and it was clear that nothing would make them worry that much.
"Alright, we should be...."
Theo paused when he felt another presence close to them, it wasn’t something like the Orcs they had faced.
"Something is off here," He held his spear close, looking into the forest. He could feel their cold presence approaching them, and from what he could see.
"There are more of them coming..."
The warrior was ready for another fight, the other two were preparing themselves, not knowing what was coming.
Pryion stared at the forest. Unlike the warriors, the knight had abilities that would let him see anything coming from a mile away.
"There are only two of them," He spoke up. The warriors turned to look at him.
"And from what I feel, they are stronger than that Orc warrior that turned into the demon my Liege is facing."
Theo knew that there was no chance that something good would come out of the fight.
He turned back to the forest, his mind racing through everything he had as an option to make sure that nothing would happen to them.
"Facing those things would mean we need to make sure that nothing is going to keep us from going all out."
He took his stance, looking at the forest.
"Can we take them?" Theo asked Pryion, who was looking at the forest, his focus on the beings approaching them.
"It’s not meant to be a question if we can take them." Pryion drew his blade, and Isakador ignited with the flames of chaos covering it.
"The question should be, how long will this fight last?"
Michael smiled. he took a position close to Pryion. His fists were glowing with his golden flare.
"I am ready when you are, knighty!" He smiled. Pryion looked at the golden-haired warrior and had nothing to say.
Theo and Raya came closer as they got ready to face the two remaining beings.
"Oi, give the order, captain..." Michael turned to Theo, and all of them were waiting for his orders.
Theo smiled. He wasn’t expecting them to be like this with him, but he was happy at least.
"Charge!"
The four charged into the forest heading for the approaching threats...
Meanwhile, on the other side, Darius and Deliri were still in the middle of a gruesome clash.
Darius was no longer holding back any of his skills; he waltzed through the battlefield as he tried to land a blow on Deliri, but the being was getting used to his tricks.
"You know that there is no point in you running for this long!!"
Deliri sent two tentacles for Darius, our young warrior, to block them off with Ve’xa.
"Sheesh, I would do anything to make sure that I avoid your ugly stench from corrupting me."
Darius pulled Deliri closer to himself, placing his left hand on his chest.
"Be gone!"
Suddenly, Deliri was sent flying by a powerful repulsive force, which was strong enough to shatter a massive diamond.
Crashing through trees and rocks, Deliri got his balance back. He turned to look at the warrior. He could see that Darius was weak and he was on defence, but then facing him like that wasn’t going to be easy.
"Such an insolent human!" He muttered as he began walking to Darius.
"You don’t know when to quit, do you?" Deliri was looking at our young warrior, a crooked smile on his face. "But I don’t mind, you are the type to fall into a deeper pond of despair."
Darius looked at the being, and he knew that there was a chance he wouldn’t be able to counter the being’s attacks easily.
"I don’t know what you are talking about..." Darius pointed Ve’xa at the being, his vision was getting blurry as he looked at him.
’What in the?’ He was confused, the beast was looking at him with a smile on its face. Soon he began coughing, he was confused why his body felt off and so weak from something like that.
Looking at his hand, he could see something he never thought he would see on his body like that.
Blood...
’What is going on?’ Darius was looking at his hands, in shock, he didn’t know what was going on around him.
’Darius, do you forget that you are human?’ Azree had the answer to the problem. ’You are using abilities that other humans wouldn’t even dare to use normally.’
Our young warrior was a bit scared, not knowing what was going to happen if he was to strain his body more.
Darius knew that even though something like this was happening, he needed to make sure that he would take down Deliri. ’Ahh, I shouldn’t let something like this distract me from the fight in front...’
"Azoul No Hino!"
Deliri yelled, and soon a bone-crushing force began to pin Darius down. Our young warrior went down on one knee, he looked up to see the being walking up to him.
"Did something happen?" Deliri’s mocking tone taunted Darius, the force grew stronger and stronger as Deliri got close to Darius
"You are nothing but a mere mortal, and you should just give up the powers of chaos." Deliri pulled out one of his cleavers, lifting it with the same cruel smile on his face.
"Worry not, child, I will relieve you of those powers."
Darius was being pinned down; he was not staying there because he was weak, but because he didn’t know how much strain he could put on his body.
’I am not going to let something like this kill me!’ Darius snarled as he pushed his body up.
His left hand let out a powerful glow as he looked up, his body shaking from the force.
"So you think there is a chance for you to push past this one? I am going to crush you like the bug you are!" Deliri yelled as he slowly brought down the cleaver.
Almost like time slowed down, Darius could see the cleaver coming for his throat, and he wasn’t going to stand there to die like nothing mattered.
"Stop!"
He roared, following his roar was a powerful jade wave, suddenly it held Deliri at a spot.
His entire left arm was glowing, his eyes had a powerful jade glow. Our young warrior was panting heavily as he looked at Deliri.
"Checkmate, ugly.."
