Jingzhe unveiled his gift for Mei Mei with a hopeful shimmer in his eyes that she would be as thrilled to receive it as he was to give it.

"A Zhe, stop." Mei Mei placed her hand on his mouth and stood up after she was sure that he would not say anything else. But she could see it in his eyes that he wanted to talk and she wanted to get her curiosity out of the way. "So, these are not real jellyfish."
He nodded.
"I don’t have to feed them or worry about them dying from neglect, giving Mingzhu allergies or being eaten by the other pets in the house." She asked.
He nodded.
Mei Mei looked at the jelly fish again, both beautifully blue, swimming like they were real. "Why did you.....?" She shook her head. There were millions of jellyfish in the sea, why create artificial ones?
Jingzhe was very nervous. Didn’t she like them?
Mei Mei was about to ask this very question when she heard the system alert in her mind.

"Now I don’t know exactly what you are planning to do but I hope that you be very careful. I am sure that like my father does with every new piece of technology he meets, you plan to open up the compass and study it. I am ordering you to make sure that you have a hazmat suit on and you are wearing an oxygen mask or something when you work on it. Whatever you find, I want to be the first to know."
"Yes madam." He answered with a light smile.
Mei Mei narrowed her eyes. "I am not joking A Zhe, I am handing this over with so much anxiety. I would prefer it if you took it and threw it into an active volcano to save all of mankind..."
Her words were cut off when she was suddenly kissed quickly.
Jingzhe was feeling all excited on the inside like soda with bubbles fizzing with anticipation that tickled every inch of his nerves. She loved his gift, she had given him a gift in return and she was obviously worried about him.
Did it mean she loved him?
The sparkle behind his eyes was like carbonated joy waiting to burst. She loved him so much that she had assigned him an important task! His entire world was changing and it felt---electric.
Mei Mei waved her hand, wondering why he seemed to be lost in thoughts that were so far away. The look in his eyes was similar to that of General Big yellow when he heard the words fried chicken.
Jingzhe suddenly kissed her again. "I will go and get to work right now." He said eagerly. His fingertips were buzzing as though they could not wait to unveil the secrets of the compass. He dashed out of the room, bounded down the stairs and left the house.
Madam Feng was left puzzled. "Why is he is a hurry?"
Mama Chen shook her head. "He has not eaten dinner."
Madam Feng sighed. Jingzhe only ever run that fast for three reasons, one was her, the other was work and the last was Mei Mei and Mingzhu. Work was the most likely option in this case.
"Give the food to Big Yellow." She told mama Chen.
The dog heard the magical words and rushed out of the living room while Meow Meow flew over Leech Mo’s home and pooped on it. They wanted a feud, she would give them one!

Mo Liang worked really fast and this same night Tang Yue and Mo Hao were driven to the airport. Together, they had twelve cases, moving with almost all of their luggage. Whatever was left behind, it was being packed up by movers and it would be sent to them by plane.
Tang Yue was very emotional, she was sobbing inconsolably.
"It won’t be forever Yue." Mo Liang assured her. "The next time you return, it will be as the wife of a noble man."
Mei Mei was watching this dramatic parting from her phone. She was yawning because it was boring and it was a lie.
Mo Liang would become a noble! dream on.
