Chapter 86: Straight as a Circle

Kayden

"Do you feel me?" Rhys whispered, pulling me flush against his chest as he entered me slowly this time.

He bottomed out with every stroke, his thick length filling me so completely that I felt a dull, delicious ache deep in my lower abdomen.

"Listen to you," he hissed into my ear, his teeth grazing my lobe. "Listen to how you sound when I’m balls-deep in you."

I let out a long, high-pitched moan, my head falling forward until my forehead pressed against the cool tile.

The contrast was maddening. While the tile froze my skin, the feel of him inside me created a furnace of heat.

Rhys gripped my chest as he started with slow, deliberate thrusts, but then he picked up the pace again."That’s it, Kayden," he growled, his breath coming in jagged lunges. "Take it. Take all of it."

"Rhys! Rhys!" I screamed, my voice echoing off in the night.

My head rolled back, my neck straining as my mouth fell open, gasping for air. I felt the thick, pulsing length of him stretching me to my absolute limit, filling me so completely there was no room for anything else in the world except him.

He was relentless. He wasn’t just thrusting; he was driving into me like he wanted to leave a permanent imprint inside my body.

My prostate was being hammered, the sensation so intense it bordered on pain—but it was a pain that made me crave more. I wanted more of him until I was completely consumed.

"Look at you," he rasped, his voice breaking as he hit that sweet spot again and again. "You’re taking every inch of me, aren’t you?"

I let out a long, broken wail as a second, even more powerful climax ripped through me.

The first had been when he sucked me off at the edge of the pool, but this was different. I shook under his hold, crying out his name as my body completely accepted his dominance.

Before I could even blink through the haze of my release, Rhys’s hands were on me again. He pulled out, and for a split second, the cold air hit my skin before he gripped my shoulders and spun me around.

He didn’t care that I was shaking or barely keeping my feet. He forced my head down and my ass up, bending me over until I was fully exposed, and then he slammed back into me.

"Oh goodness, Rhys!" I screamed, grabbing his hand on my wrist. "Rhys! F-fuck!" I shrieked, my nails scratching his forearm.

"Scream for me," he growled, slapping my ass sharply against the water. "I want you to scream into the night."

I obeyed, yelling as my voice echoed into the darkness. "Oh fuck, Rhys!"

"Mine," he whispered, leaning in closer until his weight crushed me. "Say it. Tell me whose you are while I’m fucking the life out of you."

"Yours," I sobbed, my head thrashing against the tile. "I’m yours, Rhys... only yours."

"Scream it!" Rhys roared, his fingers digging into my hips so hard his knuckles must have been white.

He slammed into me again, a deep, heavy thrust that made my stomach flip and my toes curl against the wet tile. "Scream that you’re fucking mine!"

"I’m yours!" I shrieked, the sound tearing from my throat. "Rhys, please! I’m yours!" I murmured, my body vibrating against his as I came again, my vision going white.

"Ugh!" Rhys groaned, and I felt the base of him start to expand inside me.

God, I wanted it. I wanted him to knot me right there, to lock us together on these tiles. But we both knew the consequences. We had to avoid it.

"Fuck this," Rhys said through gritted teeth, letting out a sound I’d never heard from him before—an animalistic groan of pure, tortured frustration.

The water around us sloshed violently as he pulled out, his chest heaving against my back. He panted, leaning against the wall tiles.

I was shaking where I stood, my thighs feeling like jelly. I leaned against the tile wall just to stay upright.

"Fuck," Rhys breathed, his forehead dropping to his shoulders. "I... did it," he chuckled lightly. "I avoided it." 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

I turned my head slightly, trying to catch my breath, my heart pounding."What?" I demanded, confused.

"The knot." He pulled back just enough to look me in the eye, his gaze still dark with leftover lust. "I’ve never done that before, Kayden. I’ve never fought it. Usually, I just let it lock. But with you... I knew I had to pull out because I wanted you to be safe." He let out a dry, disbelieving laugh. "You’re the first person I’ve ever cared enough about to actually stop myself."

My heart did a violent somersault as I listened to his confession. He hadn’t done it for anyone else—only for me?

The rush of affection was sudden and overwhelming. I almost blurted out right then that I was glad it was me and not somebody else.

I was so deeply in love with this arrogant, possessive man that it felt like my skin was too tight for my body. I wanted to tell him. The words hovered at the back of my throat, but I didn’t.

How could I? When it seemed like he wanted to take it slow?

I had to change the subject before I did something stupid, like confessing my soul in a pool at probably 2:00 a.m.

"So," I started, trying to sound casual despite my conflicting thoughts, "there is something I have wanted to ask you." I scratched the back of my head, trying to come up with something we hadn’t discussed. "What about your sexuality, Rhys? Are you... You know? 100%?"

That was the stupidest question ever—but at least it was better than confessing.

Rhys smirked, and at first I thought he wouldn’t answer—but he did. "I’ve always liked men," he said, clapping his hands together. "But I experimented once with a girl back in the day because I thought maybe being bi would make things easier. It didn’t work out. Turns out, I’m just very, very into guys." He tilted his head. "What about you? What’s your deal?"

I let out a huff, a small smile tugging at my lips. "Honestly? I’m as straight as a circle, Rhys. Like, straight as a gay man can possibly be."

Rhys let out a genuine, booming laugh that echoed into the night. "Straight as a circle. I’ll remember that one." He sobered slightly, his hand finding my waist under the water. "I’ve had plenty of partners, Kayden. I’m not going to lie about that. But you... you’re the only one I truly cherish. I wanted to let you know that." He brushed a strand of hair off my face. "Is it the same for you?"

I let out a long, heavy sigh and nodded, my eyes dropping to the water. "Yeah. It’s the same. You’re actually the only person I’ve ever had real sex with." My face heated. "I mean, I’ve sucked and been sucked, sure, but the actual thing? This? Only you. I have only been with you."

Rhys grinned widely, like he had just won the championship. He punched the air with a triumphant yes and chuckled. "I love that. Let’s keep it that way. I don’t want anyone else touching what’s mine."

What’s his? I love the sound of that.

I moved closer to him, the water rippling between us, and slowly rested my head on his broad shoulder. "I wish we could be like this forever," I whispered, closing my eyes.

Rhys sighed, leaning his head against mine. "You should hope for that, Kayden," he said softly, though a hint of something unreadable lingered in his tone. "Because the future... the future is a funny thing. It never quite goes the way you expect."

And that scares me, I thought. The idea of losing Rhys or drifting apart from him in the future would hurt me. I know that for sure.
