The family dinner with Kevin's parents went smoothly. His parents were very approachable and friendly, entertaining Mitch as if she was already part of the family.

The nervousness she felt before coming to their home just disappeared after exchanging a few conversations with them.

Kevin's mother accompanied Mitch after the dinner, getting to know her more while his father, Kurt, had a catching-up moment with Kevin.

"I'm glad you've finally brought your girlfriend here. Mitch seems to be a good person. She is simple but she's hardworking and responsible," Kurt said, opening up a conversation with his son.

"Yes, Dad. She is simple but she has this unique charm that caught my attention. She also became a CEO of a company because of her hard work." Kevin took pride in the achievement of Mitch. He was proud of her.

"When are you going to settle down? You are not getting younger, son. Your Mom and I are looking forward to taking care of our grandchildren." Kevin's father teased him.

There was a gleam in his eyes when he heard his father's last remarks. Then his lips curled up into a faint smile. He didn't hate the idea of settling down with Mitch.

"Ok, Dad. Let me try to work this out." Kevin replied to him meaningfully. It looked like not only his parents were thinking about this, but also Kevin. He was considering it already even if his father didn't mention it to him.

It did not take long when Mitch and Carmen joined them. She toured Mitch around the house. But she didn't bring her to Kevin's room as his mom decided to leave that task to Kevin for the couple to have their private time.

"Son, accompany Mitch to your room. She's asking me about your childhood memories. Show her your photo albums. I kept them in your study room." Carmen was pulling Mitch, bringing her to Kevin.

Kevin nodded with a smile. He loved to see Mitch getting along well with his mother. The two seemed to enjoy each other's company while roaming around the house.

Now, it was his turn to tour her in his room. Kevin said goodbye to his parents, guiding Mitch to his room.

He brought her first into his study room, searching for the photo albums his mother was referring to.

There was a gleam of excitement in Mitch's eyes as she watched Kevin. She wanted to know some of his childhood memories. How does he look like?

Carmen told her about how caring and loving her son, Kevin was even when he was still a child. Mitch could tell that her boyfriend was a very well-behaved son who made his parents proud.

But Kevin's story was a bit different from her expectations. The two sat down on the couch while flipping the page of his photo album from his middle school and high school.

"Why is it you have bandages on your face during group photos? You seemed to be camera shy. You are not looking at the camera!" Mitch didn't know whether to laugh or not. But Kevin looked adorable with his shy expression.

Kevin smiled sheepishly while scratching his face. He was embarrassed to reveal it to his girlfriend but he didn't want to lie to her. "I often got bruises because I always picked a fight with other children. But I'm not a bully. I just want to prove that I'm strong!"

"Seriously, Kevin? I thought you were well-behaved." Mitch giggled in amusement.

"Well, now I am," Kevin said confidently, smiling from ear to ear.

"Because I often get into fights, Mom and Dad enrolled me in Taekwondo and Martial Arts classes. I learn more about how to fight and defend myself. Who would have thought it would be useful for me in the future? See, I am now the head of Security of the Royal Guards, protecting the members of the Royal Family."

"Ahem, Are you flexing with me?" Mitch asked, raising her eyebrow. f𝙧ee𝘄𝐞𝚋𝐧૦ѵeƖ.c𝘰𝓶

"No. I just want my girlfriend to feel proud of me." He promptly responded, smirking cheekily at her.

Mitch could only shake her head helplessly. "Kevin, can you teach me some moves? I want to learn self-defense from you."

Kevin bobbed his head frantically, agreeing to her request. "It would be my pleasure to teach you!"

"Show me some moves now!" Mitch demanded, challenging Kevin.

Kevin stood up, pulling her. They moved to the vacant space in the right corner of his study. Mitch was standing at the center when Kevin suddenly grabbed her from behind.

Kevin was restraining her by wrapping his arms around her body, holding her in place.

"Do you know what you will do if someone traps you like this?" Kevin asked her.

Mitch shook her head, her cheeks burning red as she blushed. Kevin was hugging her in place, their closeness making her heart flutter.

"You have to grab my pinky finger and pull it backward until I loosen my grip on your body. Or you can headbutt me in the back." Kevin was giving her instructions but his grip on her body was still tight.

"You can also poke my eyes using your fingers. Those are my vulnerable parts that you can target. Now, let's try it."

Kevin released her for a moment before grabbing her at the back for the second time. The moment her back touched his sturdy chest, her heart ran wild once again, beating loudly inside her chest.

Kevin told her to struggle and try what he taught her but Mitch remained unmoving.

"I don't want to," she said. "If you are the one holding me like this, I don't mind being trapped in your arms."

Kevin: "..."

He was rendered speechless for several seconds. He didn't expect Mitch to say those words.

When he recovered from his shock, Kevin turned her around to face him.

"Hmm, since you don't want to learn this anymore, how about I teach you something else? Remember… I told you that I would teach you myself and no need to watch videos just to learn."

Mitch's cheeks reddened further. She knew what Kevin was referring to. He was talking about teaching her how to satisfy him as her boyfriend. He told her this when she failed last time after listening to Berry's advice.
