Kaijin Fighter: So I Have to Make Monsters, So What?-Chapter 1136: Homegrown Differences
<It’s not just the elders and scions. Arachnidame and Lacerage have opened it to your mother and aunts as well.>
=Lady Daria has proven to be quite adept at mastering the [Primordial Beast Scripture], although, she doesn’t showcase their capability to the others.=
’That...that tracks.’
<And it should probably go without saying, but your cousins are starting to become little monsters unto themselves. Monster generation, here we go!>

’Are there interpretations of the scripture similar to my 2nd and 4th uncle?’
=Not completely, no. Although, Miss Zhen Yue’s interpretation is like...an amped version of her father’s interpretation.=
’Hell does that mean?’
...Speaking of scions...
’Alright, let’s try this again,’ Zhen Yue told herself as she took on a fighting stance while encircled with training dummies.
Each of these dummies were infused with [Chaos], making their purpose rather obvious and singular.
’First, I have to feel the flow of [Chaos]...’
Similar to her old man’s, Zhen Yue had interpreted the [Primordial Beast Scripture] into something that was meant to enhance her current abilities and not an attack onto itself.
’Now, redirect it so that it fills into key parts of my formula...’
However, unlike her father’s interpretation leading to a seal that physically empowered him to the point of muscle growth, Zhen Yue’s interpretation was a touch more...spiritual in nature.
And significantly more intertwined with her [Totemic Lunar Maiden] formula.
’...and let the Beasts of the Moon guide my way to victory.’
[Primordial Beast Scripture: Nocturnal Revelry]
Wooo
Which was why the [Chaos] surrounding her condensed into more than just a singular beast.
One after the other, the shadowy forms of an owl, a pangolin, a rabbit and a jaguar began to manifest around Zhen Yue. Alongside them though was an even vaguer shadow in the shape of a strange dragon.
Now this part wasn’t exactly new for Zhen Yue, since similar shadowy constructs would appear whenever she cultivated aether, but this time the constructs looked and felt...different.
In those prior times, the constructs looked like glowing mortal versions of these totemic animals, appearing as if they were constructed from solidified moonlight.
With the addition of [Chaos] though, the constructs had a more mutated look to them.
Not quite like aether beasts, but something...new.
Something more powerful, viscous and altogether strange.
Which worked just fine with Zhen Yue’s new and old skill anyways.
[Lunar Assault: Enigmatic Pack!]
ROAR!
As soon as this art was activated, the true power of her [Primordial Scripture] activated as well.
One after the other, the shadowy mutant beast constructs transformed into significantly more humanoid forms that bore a passing resemblance to Zhen Yue’s visage but leaned more heavily to their original animalistic forms.
To an outside observer, these strange beings looked more like Zhen Yue’s siblings or daughters, rather than clones of herself.
Either way, whoever was on the receiving end of these vicious beastial warriors were definitely not going to care about any details like that.
They’d be too busy trying not to die.
At this moment in time, Zhen Yue was maintaining a lotus pose as she focused her mind on controlling her new offshoots. It was a little disorienting since she could see and hear through them, but she managed to adjust...to an extent.
’Yeesh! Focusing on just two is enough to drive me nuts, how the hell does Zhen Liu do this across multiple puppets at once...then again, they might be alive so maybe that helps? Wait...would I even want these girls to be talking in my head?,’ Zhen Yue mused through the scattered perspectives. ’Bah, forget it. Right now, let’s see if I can control them any better than I did yesterday...’
For context, Zhen Yue ended up giving herself a migraine the first time she performed this trick.
’First off, Pangolin.’
The first among the beast-like warriors to move was one covered with jagged scales, had a round silhouette, a small face and a pair of massive claws. In other words, a humanoid pangolin.
And this pangolin, was about to kick some ass.
’Alright, let’s try some simple movements...’
Under Zhen Yue’s control, the pangolin warrior began to do some basic stretches and movements before switching between fighting stances.
Eventually, they settled on a boxing pose.
’The claws and body feel heavy, so I can’t do anything fancy...how about this!’
Shortly after entering this post, the pangolin warrior performed a quick three-two-one uppercut combo that rendered the training dummy in front of it into a perforates pile of rubble.
’Nice!’
Once the dummy was destroyed, Zhen Yue switched focus to another one of the manifestations.
’Lets go with Rabbit and then...’
For the next dozen or so minutes after exercising the pangolin’s capabilities, Zhen Yue cycled controlling the rabbit-warrior, the owl-warrior and the jaguar-warrior, practicing a variety of moves that were a perfect compliment to their varied body plans.
This went for quite some time...until, she tried to control more than one.
’Alright, let’s see if I can-BAH!’
Once she did, Zhen Yue recoiled as she felt the [Chaos] in her snap back at her, leading to the dismissal of the bestial fighters and her being knocked on her back.
She didn’t look discouraged though.
"Okay...so...[Chaos] is way more finicky than aether...and Xiao Liu is able to use this stuff in the regular...how the hell has he not gone insane?," Zhen Yue asked herself.
She lay there in the ground a few more moments before getting into lotus position and condensing [Chaos] again.
"Screw it! I’ll figure it out eventually...’
...
’Oh, that’s what you meant...hmmm.’
<Crazy, right? I can’t help but to think how different things would be if she had become the Kaijin Lord instead. Although, I can’t imagine her rocking a reverse harem...>
’Not even going to touch on that. How are my other cousins doing anyways?’
=See for yourself.=
...Montage time...
Zhen Tai and Zhen Xing stood across from each other as their respective auras, taking the form a flaming titanboa and a burning giant fox stared daggers each other.
Evidently, these two decided to go straight for a [Chaos] clash instead of building up to it.
"Go!"
HISS!
SNARL!
...
[Primordial Beast Scripture: Galewing!]
[Primordial Beast Scripture: Thunderwing!]
SKRAW!
In a coordinated manner, Zhen Lao and Zhen Guo swung their hands foward and directed the wings of a pair of massive ancient birds that released heavy blasts of wind and thunder towards a pair of dummies, sending them flying into the stratosphere.
The father-son duo looked out of breath but not entirely drained.
"Looks like...our attacks...are compatible...and less draining when we work together."
"That...kind of tracks..."
"Are you just saying that...because you’re too tired...to think about this stuff...?"
"Yup!"
...
"You know that this is essentially a giant dick measuring contest, right?," Daria asked her sister-in-law.
"It is,"Mao Mei agreed. "But I’m not about to stop them. Are you?"
"Nope."
In a flatland area near Stone Claw City, Zhen Long and Zhen Yan were having a friendly competition of sorts while making use of their new [Chaos] abilities.
(Un)expectedly, Zhen Long and Zhen Yan turned out to be the most proficient when it came to making use of this [Chaos] stuff, ergo, they needed a bit more room to practice using their abilities.
However, they also turned out to be naturally opposing forces.
For reasons that were a bit more obvious than anticipated, Zhen Long’s [Chaos] naturally condensed into the form of dire wolf that was radiating cold, while Zhen Yan’s [Chaos] took the form of a massive lion with a literal mane of flames.
Naturally, they used their diametrically opposed attacks to see who was stronger between the two.
"I think my last attack reached farther than yours did."
"Bullshit!"
For the last twenty or so minutes, the oldest and youngest of the Zhen Clan elders had been attempting to see whose attack was more powerful.
But instead of pounding the shit off each other to prove a point, they merely fired off into the distance and see whose attack could cause more environmental fallout.
"We go again!"
"Alright!"
In front of Zhen Long was a long streak of frozen sand, while the area in front of Zhen Yan was pure glass.
And these areas were about to get a lot longer.

...
’Wow. I’m impressed. I thought it would take them like...weeks to months to master using these [Chaos Arts].’
<=To be fair, you did give them crash courses everytime you shot them in the face with the [Possesstol].=>
’I mean...fair enough.’

Alright, what do you have planned this time?
|Pardon?|
Literally about a week or two ago, you had a lot of oddly soft ass chapters that ended with three people self destructing like the bad guy in a sci-fi movie. So again, what do you have planned?
|Don’t worry about it.|
