After finishing off the last govu, Yokomichi aroun to me from the center of what had become a literal bloodbath, calling out to me affectionally.
「Sorry but I'll be happy if you strolling with me for a while longer.」
Leaving those words with a smile, I told Alfa to run again.
I've already did everything I could do in this place.
The goma corps not only bought us time, but also managed to wear down Yokomichi to some extent, and even helped reveal a bit more about his abilities. A salute to their noble sacrifice.
「Yokomichi’s ability is powerful, but he's not invincible. His power can be whittled down and defeated.」
I came to that conclusion upon seeing the battle a while ago.
The most important thing to note was the fact that the destroyed part didn't regenerate.
Yokomichi could consume monsters and recreate parts of their bodies, gaining their abilities. Since he ate something like a golem, he could use a giant rock arm, and after consuming a Death Stalker, he could grow a scorpion’s tail. ṛ𝔞𝐍ՕʙÈ𝘴
However, once the recreated monster parts were destroyed, they did not regenerate again.
There was the possibility that Yokomichi simply chose to use a different part based on his mood. Alternatively, there might be a cooldown or some kind of time constraint for regeneration, or it could just take a little while to grow back.
But for me, the most likely scenario seems to be that in order to regenerate a destroyed part, he would need to eat the same monster again.
The power of a vocation was certainly not omnipotent. From my perspective, it feels like there was a well-balanced system in place. However, that did apply to the 『Hero』 and 『Sage』.
So even if Yokomichi had a cheat ability to absorb the powers of the monsters he eats, I believe there was some kind of limitations and constraints. It wouldn’t make sense for the ability to allow him to use those powers forever and infinitely after consuming them just once, that kind of broken setting shouldn't exist.

Yokomichi had already transformed into an uncontrollable monster… but even if we don’t destroy everything, just breaking the particularly powerful parts should be enough to decrease his combat abilities, only after he weakened enough did we had enough chance to grab the victory.
If we could strip his abilities down to the point where he couldn’t withstand or defend against Kyouko’s offensive magic, we could definitely finish Yokomichi off.

Yokomichi, shouting like a lover playing tag on the beach. There’s no visible sign of exhaustion from his battle against goma's corps.

Alfa skillfully dodged the dangerous full swing with an exquisite trajectory, sliding underneath the mammoth's belly. As an added bonus, it slashes the mammoth’s abdomen with its saw-like tail.

Yokomichi's caterpillar-like giant body packs enough power to shake the spike mammoth with just a simple body slam.
Naturally, when an opponent of equal weight collided, the mammoth prioritizes dealing with that threat. It lets out an even more furious roar and turns toward Yokomichi.
「OUT OF MY WAY AND DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!」
The Death Stalker's tail stabbed into the spike mamoth's body.
I thought that the spike mammoth would be felled with the poison of the Death Stalker———— But its' massive frame was apparently not just for show. The spike mammoth retaliates with a body slam of its own, sending Yokomichi flying.
Upon taking the impact of the ultra-heavy body slam, the tail of the Death Stalker snapped along with a crisp, snapping sound.
Alright, the most dangerous part had already been dealt with.
「Ow, that freaking hurts… Don't get cocky just because you're a bit bigger, you damn elephant!」
Thus begins the monster showdown: Yokomichi vs. Spike Mammoth.
