It All Started With Hatred-Chapter 129: Unexpected news
Pearl looked at her reflection in the mirror. Recently she has gained weight. It’s been a while since she put on some weight. Issac was making her eat more than she could stomach to the point that she woke up with a feeling of nausea that bothered her every morning.
"Pearl." She heard Issac call from outside the bathroom.
Running her hands through her hair to smooth it. She opened the door of the bathroom and saw Issac waiting for her.
"Are you alright? You look pale." He asked, seeing her pale face.
Pearl smiled weakly and nodded her head."I’m fine. You don’t need to worry too much about me." She told him to peck his lips before she pulled away.
Issac let out a tired sigh."I know. I just worry about you." He said pulling her towards him."I’m sorry. I know that my unreasonable worrying makes you annoyed and I apologize for that." Issac added kissing the side of her head.
Pearl giggled. Issac is always worried that she will get mad at him and kick him off the room. Well. It happened last weekend. Pearl suddenly had a mood sowing and kicked him out of the room. Issac spent the whole night bagging outside the door for her to open it though. Though he was able to find the spare key and open the door, he decided to give her privacy. The next morning Pearl woke up looking for him apologizing for what she did.
"I won’t do as well as the last time. As long as you behave." Pearl teases him and he gives her a sad puppy look.
When their relationship took an intimate turn. Pearl discovered that Issac is a very sexually active person. He loves to be creative and when he’s turned on he needs to have it because as he said to her. Even touching himself is no longer enough since he knew her. At first, she tried to keep up with him but later it became exhausting. The man is always full of health and energy.
"I will try. But it’s hard when you look at me with these eyes." Issac replied, kissing her forehead."Let’s go and eat breakfast. You must be hungry." He added pulling her out of the room walking downstairs.
Pearl sat down at the table looking at the food. Issac sure did memorize all her favorite foods. Picking warm coffee with a milk cup. She started to drink it.
"We have a check-up examination appointment today." Pearl reminded him.
Issac frowned upon hearing this."Why? Didn’t we do that three months ago?" He asked. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
"Hmm. Yes. But the doctor said I need to do them again because the medicine is causing me stomach discomfort." Pearl replied as she continued eating her breakfast.
Issac tried to not be angry. She hadn’t told him this before."Why didn’t you tell me that your medicine is too strong for your stomach? We could have asked her to replace them." Issac spoke as calmly as he could.
Pearl reached for his hand that was on the table and he immediately clasped his hand around hers."They weren’t at first. But in the last couple of weeks, they’re making me feel uncomfortable. Don’t be angry. It’s not a big thing. We will do the blood tests and everything will be alright." She said, assuring him.
Issac brought her hand to his lips kissing the back of it looking into her eyes. For the past week. Pearl was showing an improvement. She smiled more and even talked more with him. This small improvement gives him a small hope that maybe soon she won’t need to take these pills.
After breakfast. Pearl and Issac got dressed and went to the hospital. When they reached the hospital. Immediately they headed to the laboratory to do the tests.
Pearl and Issac sat there waiting for the taste reports. Rubbing her stomach, Pearl tried to ignore the urge to throw up. These medicines are starting to make me very uncomfortable.
"Issac." Pearl called him and he turned to look at her.
"What is it? Do you want to leave the hospital? I can send someone to pick it up later." Issac suggested and she shook her head no.
"Not that. I wanted to ask you something. About your family. Do they know about me?" Pearl asked. For the past three months. Issac never told her to meet his family. She knew that he didn’t ask her knowing that she wasn’t ready.
Issac tilted his head looking at her. She has been acting strange lately."Yes. My mother knows. But she only knows that I met a beautiful girl who I fall in love with." He replied tugging a strand of hair behind her ear.
Pearl felt relieved. If they don’t know the truth then it will be easier to meet them."I... I think I should meet your family now. It’s only natural. We have been together for almost three months. It should be fine." She said to him and felt him give her hand a small squeeze.
"When you’re ready. We’ll go. I don’t care about my family’s opinions. I only care about you." Issac said, clearing all of her doubts. Pearl smiled and rested her head on his shoulder as they waited for the taste reports.
about an hour later. The test report came out and the nurse came back with the file in her hands.
"I apologize for making you wait. We had to add another blood taste." The nurse informed them as she handed Issac the file smiling at the couple.
"Why? Is something wrong with the tests?" Issac asked, looking at the nurse with a serious look.
The nurse laughed politely and replied."No. It’s good news. Miss Pearl is pregnant. Congratulations."
Issac’s face changed into different emotions. Shocked, Surprised, and then happy.
Pearl felt as if a bucket of cold water had been poured on her. Her blood ran cold and stared at the nurse with eyes full of fear."A... Are you sure?" She asked, hoping it would be wrong.
If it was true. Then what if Issac didn’t want the child. They haven’t been together for long. and considering her past. He might not want a child from her. Pearl broke into a cold sweat. Her body started to shiver and tears filled her eyes. She was scared. So scared.
"Yes. It’s in the file. You can check the report." The nurse replied before she left.
Issac noticed her reaction. She turned her head to the other side, hiding her tears from him. Was she afraid that he wouldn’t accept the child?
"Pearl. Look at me. Are you crying? This is supposed to be happy news." Issac said as he kneeled in front of her.
Pearl refused to look at him and continued crying. She thought that he was laying and only saying this to make her stop crying. He wasn’t happy. He couldn’t be when he knew what she was before saving her from that dark place.
Issac held both of her hands kissing the back of them and waited for her to calm down. He knew that many thoughts were going inside of her head right now that he’s going to leave her or ask her to abort the child. "Pearl. Look at me." He called her resting his head on her lips. His knees started to hurt from this position but he won’t get up until she smiles again. Until he knew that she was alright.
"Aren’t you angry at me?" Pearl finally spoke only to ask him this stupid question.
Issac rolled his eyes, shaking his head hopelessly."Why would I be? I’m very happy. We’re going to have a baby. This is exciting." He replied, smiling like a fool at her.
Pearl stared at his face. He can’t be facking all of this. She could see the true happiness in his eyes. Did she think wrong and ruin a moment that it’s supposed to be full of joy? Now she feels bad at herself.
"I thought that you wouldn’t want a child from a person like me?" Pearl said in a low voice as looked at him.
"Seriously Pearl. You will be fucked hard tonight as your punishment. How I wouldn’t want I child from you. I’m happy to the point that I can’t contain it." Issac said, rising on his feet before he bent down and kissed her lips.
The kiss was a long passionate one. Heated and wild that left her breathless and dizzy. "We haven’t been using safe sex. Don’t you remember how many times I filled you in? Deep inside. This is the fruit of our lovemaking and I take complete responsibility for it." He whispered against her lips making her blush staring away from him.
She felt relieved that all her worries were just imaginary and weren’t real.
"Let’s go to the doctor and have a checkup so you can take your punishment tonight." Issac said, offering her his hand to take and she did.
