Shaking his head. Issac took her hand in his, kissing the back of it."You can worry Mr as much as you like. But don’t leave. Stay." Issac said.

The way he uttered these words wasn’t in the form of order, But a request, a plea.

Pear stared at him surprised. A smile appeared on her lips, She was happy because his words made her happy. It felt good to have someone care about you.

"I have nowhere to go but here." Pearl said, smiling shyly at him.

She tugged on her bathrobe pulling it down. Though Isaac never tried or did anything to her, she could tell by the way he looked at her sometimes that he was sexually attracted to her but he always kept his distance, respecting her.

Issac cupped the side of her face and brought his face closer to her, Pearl’s body froze, She thought that he was going to kiss her on the lips, But he kissed her on her forehead. Issac’s lips lingered for a moment before he pulled away, staring at her Blushing face.

Pearl averted her eyes, Unable to stare into his eyes anymore. They held too many emotions that she can’t handle right now.

Issac took out a paper from his suit pocket and handed it to her."It’s a small gift from me and I don’t want anything in return." He said as he gave her the paper.

Pearl looked at him before she opened the paper and started reading it only to have her eyes widened after a few seconds of reading. The paper in her hand is an apartment assignment contract.

He gave her the apartment!

Pearl looked up at him and said."This is too much and we barely know each other. I can’t expect it." She said as she handed him the paper.

"It’s not too much. You have a new life to start. Having a place that is entirely yours is the first step towards that life." Issac said.

Pearl was touched by his words and kindness. It was hard to believe that someone could be good to her like this. But it is true and here he is in front of her, Giving her something without asking for something in return.

"But... " Pearl was about to argue more but Issac stopped placing his finger on her lips, Silencing her.

"Don’t think about it. Just take it. I will call the building plumber to fix the bathroom. Go and get dressed." Issac said as he stood up and took his phone from his pocket.

As he called the building plumber, Issac’s eyes followed Pearl who walked in front of him towards the stairs, Going to her room. He didn’t know why, But seeing her in the bathrobe with her wet hair let down made him aroused.

The plumber came and fixed the hot water problem and left. During that time, Issac entered the kitchen and prepared a meal for Pearl. He had discovered that she was clumsy and careless when it comes to her health. Skipping meals and hardly drinking water. He had gone for an entire day only to come by in the evening and find out that she hadn’t eaten anything for the whole day.

Issac had noticed something on Pearl but he wanted to confirm it first. Stepping outside the kitchen to check on her, He found her like every day staring outside the window, Spacing out.

Issac walked towards her and she saw him walking towards her through his reflection in the window glass.

"You have been standing there for more than an hour. What is so great about the view that made me watch it all this time." Issac asked in a low voice as he leaned on the glass, Staring at her.

Pearl nervously laughed at his words."Staring outside the window help to stop thinking about other things." She replied to his words.

Issac gave her a small nod as he reached his hand to run it through her hair before pulling it back."Do you want to talk about it?" He asked, looking at her.

She looked at him for a moment wondering if she should tell him or not. She was afraid that he might be scared of her once she told him.

"I... I hear voices in my mind that tell me to do bad things.... I try to not listen to them, But become louder with every passing day." Pearl’s voice became weak towards the end. Tears fell from her eyes.

Issac stepped closer to her. Pulling her in his arms, He rubbed her back soothingly with his hand."It’s alright. No need to be scared. Everything will be fine." He whispered in her ear comforting words until he felt her body relax in his arms.

Pearl clutched into his shirt with her hands. Right now she is all alone in this world and the only one who saved her is Issac. He is the Issac. He was the only one who could rely on him.

"You said the voices you hear tell you to do bad things. Can you tell me, like what?" He asked Carefully as she pulled back looking up at him.

Pearl hesitated a little before she told him."I hear someone telling me to kill myself and that I have no worth to stay alive. That I’m a... " Pearl fell Silent, unable to continue.

She stared at him with eyes full of fear, Asking him to not give up on her.

Issac bent down kissing her forehead."There’s nothing wrong with you. After everything happened with you, This is normal to happen. You just need help. Tomorrow I will take you to the doctor. He is a friend of mine. That’s if you like to. " He suggested and waited for her to answer.

Pear nodded her head immediately." Yes. I want to." She replied.

"Then tomorrow we will go." Issac said as he pulled her into his arms again. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

He had suspected that something was wrong with her. In the first few days, Issac thought that it was normal but when he watched her closely, He started to notice that something was off with her.

On the lunch table. Pearl barely ate anything. The whole time she was staring outside the window with empty eyes. Issac had to force her to eat by feeding her himself. He didn’t want her to get sick. She’s already extremely thin. Sometimes he felt that he might break her if he held her tightly in his arms.

Watching him as he moved around the kitchen, Clearing the table and washing the dishes. Pearl wanted to ask him something but she didn’t know if she should or not. But she didn’t want to stay alone. Especially at night.

When it was time for Issac to leave, Pearl stared at him with sad eyes. She could ask him to stay, She felt that she had burdened him enough.

Issac was about to pick up his coat and wear it when he saw the look on Pearl’s face. He frowned and wondered what happened that made her sad. He suddenly thought about something and put his coat back on the hanger.

"Come. Let’s watch a movie together." Issac said as he grabbed her hand and walked towards the living room.

Dragging her towards the couch. Issac picked up the remote controller before he Sat beside her and turned the TV on, Issac chose a comedy movie to light up the mood. He watched her from the corner of his as she laughed at the movie events. Not long later she falls asleep beside him before the movie even ends.

Deciding not to wake her up. Issac brought a warm blanket and covered her with it. He left the small lamp in the living room turned on for her before he walked towards the couch and slept on it.

The next day. Petal went to her school after eight days of not attending. Everyone treated her with respect and was mindful of her. After taking the notes of the class that she didn’t attend. She went to the Practicing room to practice. Two hours later. Petal left the school going back to Jacob’s apartment.

On her way back, PetaI stopped the car thinking about something. Changing her direction, She drove towards Wilson’s mansion. It’s been only hours but she had missed him and wanted to see him.

On her way towards the mansion, PetaI felt very nervous. Yesterday the two of them took a no-turning-back step. They kissed and touched each other. Well, it was mostly him but she enjoyed it, craved it, and wanted it.

Petal didn’t know where the two of them were heading and what the end of this relationship was. But all she knew right now is that she wanted to see him.
