Isekaied Into An Eroge, Time To Have Fun!-Chapter 122: Tea With Jacklyn

Stepping into her dorm, I noticed yet again that all of the dorms were identical to one another in terms of layout, however the size of things could be different as seen with Kha’Miero’s dorm; however, Jacklyn and or her roommate have already transformed the bland dorm into something warm and cozy.

There were rugs and throws everywhere alongside some ornate and beautiful pieces of glassware and ceramics that were resting on the shelves and tables; everything about the room seemed more like a home than a dorm, especially with all the candles lit to keep the area illuminated and smelling wonderful.

Jacklyn beckoned for me to sit at the table as she moved into the kitchenette, setting a kettle out to boil before bringing me a plate with a two fluffy muffins speckled with some dark spots that looked like berries.

"These are blackberry muffins with a hint of cinnamon, freshly made this morning! I uh... also am working on making chocolate muffins, but I can never get the ratios right..."

Laying the plate in front of me and staring at me with obvious expectation, the Dogkin was waiting for me to take a bite, her tail swishing behind her while she leaned forwards a little when I lifted on up to give it a taste.

My teeth sank into the top of the muffin with ease, allowing me to tear away a nice sized chunk that had a few blackberries within it; the tart flavor was complimented immensely by the ’heat’ of the cinnamon, and feeling the remnants of the berries melting on my tongue while the muffin itself was so soft already was just immaculate. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Savoring the flavor and chewing carefully, I held back a smile when I saw just how far forwards the Dogkin was leaning, her eyes alight with anxious curiosity beneath those bangs of hers as she waited for an answer.

Just to tease her I took my time, though after swallowing it down I nodded and said "That was very good, Jacklyn~! The blackberries tasted fresh as well... did you buy them recently?", to which the Dogkin nodded and smiled back at me, only to blush a little when I continued to stare at her.

"Um, yes... I... well, my roommate and I have a small berry garden on the balcony since we both like them, alongside some herbs. I harvested them this morning after using some magical fertilizer, so..."

I took another bite and just nodded, enjoying the taste before watching her as she returned to the kettle, beginning to brew the tea; as she worked over in the kitchen I couldn’t help but admire her from behind, my eyes running up and down her body while I continued to enjoy her cooking.

While I was doing so the door to one of the bedrooms opened, revealing a crop top clad, floppy eared Dogkin that had some chiseled abs; the sharp sapphire eyes immediately honed in on me, her nose twitching for a moment before she glanced over at Jacklyn.

Hearing the door open the smaller Dogkin turned towards her and gave her a smile, waving her over and saying "Yvonne, this is Natalie! Um... she saved me from that Wolfkin that we saw a few days ago...", immediately causing the muscled Dogkin to nod and soften up.

Dropping into the seat beside me and starting to pack something into her pipe, the Dogkin kept staring at me for a few moments before shrugging and saying "Thanks for that. Jacklyn here can’t keep herself safe, it seems... That’s about three times now that she’s been put into a tough spot already."

Igniting a flame on her fingertip, Yvonne lit the herbs within her pipe and took a drag, waving Jacklyn away when she gave her an adorable pout and instead focusing on me as she asked "So... how do you two know one another?"

"Yvonne!"

"Don’t blame me for being a little suspicious now, Jacklyn. Like I said it’s been three times now that you’ve gotten into some bad situations, and we haven’t even been here a week yet."

Jacklyn gave another adorable pout and even added a bit of a stomp to emphasize her ’anger’, though all it did was make Yvonne take another drag of her pipe before raising a brow, causing the smaller Dogkin to blush.

"We have Magical Theory together and we’re in a group for the first assignment. It’s all about the basics and it is due tomorrow. We were working in the library when three Wolves showed up, so I just sorta... ran away with her. Took her to a Professor’s classroom and hid for a bit."

"Well, thanks for that. Hey Jacklyn, where’s my muffin?"

The familiarity with which they interacted with was a bit surprising considering the shy Dogkin I was now familiar with didn’t seem at all capable of this, yet here it was; seeing her glare at Yvonne before ’throwing’ a plate down in front of her, earning herself another raised brow from the pipe smoking Dogkin.

"Jacklyn, mind getting me that herb pouch from my room real quick? You know the one."

The smaller Dogkin glared at her again and let out a huff, but she began to walk over to Yvonne’s room without an argument, leaving me with the muscular Dogkin at the table; immediately she breathed out a large cloud of smoke between us, obscuring my view of her a little, which allowed her to pull a blade from who knows where just to show it to me.

"Do I have to worry about you too, Natalie? You aren’t trying to do something to my adorable little puppy now are you?"

"You don’t, and I won’t lie and say I wasn’t hoping to have something eventually happen, but I wasn’t going to make any moves for a bit. Besides, she is quite smart and enjoyable to work with, so ruining that for some carnal gain isn’t really something I want to do."

"Uh huh... So before she comes back - since that herb bag is empty - let me just make this clear. Jacklyn is a cute, innocent little thing that barely knows anything about the world and I want to keep it that way. It’s what she deserves, so don’t be corrupting her..."

With that little warning she concealed the blade and added "If she wants to have some fun that’s fine, but don’t be trying to take her for yourself. I quite like her too... Everyone loves puppies, I know, but I want to be one of the few that gets her love back. Been my dream for ten years now, so try not to get in my way, hm?"
