Ye Fan asked, "How does the clan leader address himself?"

The old man replied, "My humble name is Ku Dan."

Ye Fan pondered the name for a moment, thinking it was probably a transliterated name, difficult to decipher its meaning from the characters alone.

Seeing the old man’s earnest desire for them to inspect the temple together, Ye Fan said, "I won’t go inside. I’m here with an unworthy request!"

Jiuyou Su Girl angrily said, "Just a girl. Are you refusing? Didn’t you say you are all the believers of my master and me?"

Standing before the great hall, Ku Dan said, "In the ancient legends passed down on Jiang Huo Star, the God Lord and Goddess Su Girl are a couple. Even if you need a maid around, she should be someone with the creation of Immortal Technique, not one of us ordinary humans. God Lord, any other demands, even if it means sending us clan members to our deaths, are possible. But this request, the humble me cannot agree to!"

"It seems you are truly courting death!" Jiuyou Su Girl sneered coldly, already ready to act.

As Ye Fan raised a hand, he said, "What if I insist on taking her?"
