Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 619 - What’s Next? (Part 1)

Once my conversation with the academe grandmaster was done, I got out of his office and went straight to another office which is that of the student affairs one. I also reported my return there and completed early enrollment for the final immersion subject I needed to complete to graduate.

I just though that doesn’t hurt to register even if the current semester has not ended just yet and it even saves some time for me. Besides, it is not like I can escape this last part of the curriculum anyways so why do I have to delay it. It also doesn’t matter if the two shadows behind me heard about my plans for the next term since they are not able to stop it from happening as well.

As for the place I will be visiting for my last immersion, I have more or less decided where to go based on the information I previously got from Void and some of the men from Noir that I tasked to do some investigations for me. Weirdly, now that I have made my choice, I feel like I am contradicting myself. As to why I feel this way, it was because I still ended up choosing the place where I can complete most of my tasks regarding securing my wealth, my family affairs and also my mission for this world.

After leaving the student affairs office, the two shadows finally could not take it in anymore and started a conversation with me. Caius was the first one to ask as he said, "Do you really have to go to that immersion in some other land? Do you want me to accompany you for your safety?"

I suddenly stopped walking then turned around to face Caius. With a raised eyebrow, I stared at him and replied, "You do understand that I am the most dangerous being whenever I go to another place, right? You do not have to accompany me for safety reasons because I am more than capable of doing that on my own. Besides, this is already my third immersion and I am required to complete it alone and under a false identity for the class to be tagged as completed for graduation."

With my response, Caius became quiet as he could not refute everything that I just said. Clarence, looking unsure of how to react with my impending departure asked, "Is it possible for you to choose the place where you will complete your immersion? If yes, is it possible for you to choose the area nearest to the territory of the main church to meet with the pope at least? If it is not possible, can you at least drop by there for a quick visit"

Before I could even respond, Caius seconded as he said, "No! Choose a place near our territory for your immersion. There are many villages, towns and even cities that need help in this empire anyways so why do you have to go somewhere far? You have to visit the dukedom of Astrantia to formally meet my parents too!"

Instead of giving a response, I simply sighed, turned around and continued walking briskly towards the direction of my villa. The reaction of the two men were a bit delayed as they realized that I ignored their requests and simply left them. After about a minute or two, I heard two sets of fast footsteps from behind me, obviously it was the two shadows that were now running after me to squeeze a response out of me.

I reached the gates of my villa in a matter of a few minutes and immediately opened it to step inside. Just as the two shadows thought that I was waiting for them by the gates and inviting them in, the barrier activated and they both bounced back, both their butts landing on the ground just as they tried to put a foot towards the inside of my front yard.

They both looked at me with surprised faces or to be exact, the look of betrayal. I chuckled at their reactions and simply bid goodbye to them, telling them that we can just meet and talk tomorrow at the library after lunch. It is not like these two ever cared if they attend their academe classes or not since they have other intentions of enrolling here (me).

I chose not to set up the meetings in the morning since I have other errands to do at that time. And honestly, I do not want to be bothered to wake up too early just for that meeting. I want to enjoy my breakfast leisurely too.

After setting up my meeting with the two guys, I closed the gates and made my way inside the house to be with Void again. I sneaked inside his room and then slid under his blankets for a snuggle.

It was always an amazing feeling whenever his whole body shivers when his skin makes contact with mine. He is very sensitive to my thoughts especially the lewd ones since that is one of his favorite sources of sustenance. As for me, I found out that bombarding him with my thoughts and actions is the most effective way to wake him up.

Just when my arms enveloped Void’s body in a snuggle, my husband immediately squirmed to snuggle even deeper into my arms. I kissed him on his forehead and then placed my leg on top of his. The skin contact made him utter a sound of contentment which was a mix of a sigh and a soft moan.

I stayed in the same position unmoving, giving Void some time to rest more and also feed calmly while also feeding him slowly. He can feed easily just by being in my embrace anyways. It is not that I do not want to roll in the sheets and toss him around on the bed but it is only the middle of the afternoon.

Before I knew it, dinner time finally came so Void and I had no choice but to get up, leave the room and make our way to the dining area. What welcomed us was the amazing scents of freshly cooked food from the kitchen and Arthur humming a happy tune while busily working in the kitchen.
