Infinite Skin System: Starting as An Eldritch Knight-Chapter 61: Sonar Echolocation
[TERROR BAT EQUIPPED]
Once again, Carter transformed into a bat. He flew out of his flat.
’I wonder if there was a way to give Dracula a pure bat form. That would complete his character even more.’
Carter flew straight to a Level 5 Quarantined Zone and turned back into the Eldritch Knight.
[ELDRITCH KNIGHT EQUIPPED]
He already had a plan for what he was going to do that night. He would let the Prisoner absorb all the Corrupted Blood and then ate those zombies with Terror Bat.
Sonar Echolocation was too good of a skill to pass up.
The white swordsman appeared again.
’Let’s kill some Undead.’
The Undead in Level 5 Zone was significantly stronger than Orkshire Undead. These zombies didn’t rot, they mostly had their entire body intact.
’Calling them zombie would be incorrect. These Undead are more like... ghouls.
The ghoul lunged at the white swordsman. Because most of its muscles were intact, the ghoul was much faster and explosive than the average undead.
Carter unsheathed the Prisoner and sliced at the ghoul’s neck. He was rather surprise to see the blade didn’t go all the way and was caught in its flesh.
The ghoul tried to reach forward with its claws. Carter pushed it down on the ground and let the Prisoner drain its Corruption.
’One thing that isn’t great though is that Eldritch Knight won’t get any Synchronization and Prime Coins like this.’
The Prisoner drained every drop of Corruption left. The pale ghoul stopped moving. Now it was only a pale corpse. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Carter looked around and made sure no one was present.
[TERROR BAT EQUIPPED]
He then turned into the Terror Bat and feasted on the corpse.
One side, he was a devil slaying swordsman.
Another side, he was a flesh eating monster.
This man’s morality knew no bound.
[Synchronization +34.2%]
[Current Synchronization]: 37.8%
Because of Terror Bat’s small size, eating flesh gave a lot of Synchronization. It was also a very weak skin also. The only thing useful about it was the Sonar Echolocation.
The small bat wiped its bloody mouth and gave a hiss.
’One down. I’ll probably only need 4 or 5 more corpses to reach max Synchronization.
Carter went into his routine. He used Eldritch Knight to absorb the Corruption inside the ghouls and then used Terror Bat to feast on their purified flesh.
The ghouls had a much higher concentration of Corruption compared to the zombies. Carter could feel his blade change every single time he finished absorb a ghoul.
The black of the handle and scabbard slowly became brighter and had a purple hue to it.
Devouring flesh was the slow part. Finding and absorbing ghouls was pretty quick.
[Terror Bat reaches Max Synchronization]

’Let’s test that out.’
[ELDRITCH KNIGHT EQUIPPED]
Carter closed his eyes. The Eldritch Knight already had excellent base stats. His perception was extremely refined even without a Perception Skill. But now, with Sonar Echolocation, the Eldritch Knight could literally feel everything around him.
He already had a 360 degrees vision because of the Perception Skill from Terror Wolf. Now, his enemies couldn’t even hide.
’There are two main ways to become stronger with the skins. Either creating a skin so strong, it would crush everything. Like Dracula.
Or by making me, the host, the perfect vessel. Either way is a good path.’
And Carter didn’t plan to choose. He would make himself and all of his skins become powerful.
Carter took a look at the Prisoner. The changes on the blade was barely noticeable now. This was because of the quality of the energy it was getting. It needed stronger sources. Zombies and ghouls wouldn’t cut it anymore.
’I guess it’s time to go back to collecting Skin Shards.’
His ears twitched as he heard a cry for help from somewhere.
’Hmm?’
[TERROR BAT EQUIPPED]
The small bat flew over to the noise. There was a man with his right leg already cut off. He was holding himself inside an elevated platform.
There were a lot of zombies circling around him.
Carter was about to jump in and helped the man when he noticed a particular medallion on his shirt.
The Enthrall Institute. The medallion had an eye on it.
’Saving him with the Eldritch Knight would be easy. But I have a better scene in mind.’
[SHADOW APOTHECARY EQUIPPED]
Carter showed himself with the big wooden chest on his back.
The man noticed him.
"Get out of here!" He shouted.
But Carter didn’t leave. He put the Brewer’s Chest down and took a few ingredients out.
Making the antidote for Florence only cost x20 Cloud Powder. He still had x80 Cloud Powder left.
Cloud Powder wasn’t just useful in creating potion. It could also be used to create weapons, which was what Carter was doing.
Under the man’s watchful eyes, Carter quickly mixed the Cloud Powder with a few basic ingredients he had. A vial of bubbling solution was created.
Carter put on a makeshift mask over his face. A piece of white cloth with strings wrapping around the neck and face to hold it. He put a second layer on with a few herbs in the middle to act as a quick purifier.
"Cover your nose and mouth!" Carter shouted as he threw the glass vial toward the horde of zombies.
The man did as he was told and cover his face with his elbow.
The vial cracked.
The zombies heard Carter. But before they could attack, the solution exploded into a thick white cloud. An awful smell came out of the explosion.
The zombies growled deeply. But their voices were soon interrupted.
The man widened his eyes at what he was witnessing.
