C'tan shards are the remnants of the C'tan. Each shard carries a portion of the C'tan's essence and seals away their memories. The Necrons use them as power sources, never daring to truly awaken the slumbering consciousness within. After all, if a C'tan were to be resurrected, its first target for revenge would undoubtedly be the Necrons.

"If it's the Void Dragon or the Nightbringer, that would be perfect. The Burning One would be a decent second choice," Zeke remarked.

The Silent King looked at the Necrontyr infants in the hands of the two Phaerons and agreed to Zeke's demand. "I will have one C'tan shard delivered into your hands."

"One is too few. Ten."

"Two."

"Deal." Zeke knew when to stop while he was ahead. He reached out his hand in a handshake gesture, and the Silent King chose to shake it.

Phaeron Hapthatra glared at the human, leaving behind a harsh parting word.

"C'tan shards are not a power you can control. They possess their own consciousness and pride. Human, I hope you are not killed by the C'tan shard."

Zeke waved his hand dismissively, watching as the Silent King and the two Phaerons returned through the End Portal.

Right before they left, Zeke even reached out and touched the Dais of Dominion.

[Mod Unlocked: Valkyrien Skies]

Valkyrien Skies was a mod that allowed one to build all sorts of outrageous contraptions and make them move. It was also the key to allowing Zeke to hand-craft a Titan.

As long as he used Valkyrien Skies to build a Titan and then used a Blueprint to copy it, Zeke could raise an entire Titan legion in a single day.

"Um, Zeke." Shortly after the Silent King left, Trazyn raised his head. He had truly witnessed Zeke's methods now.

"What, you want one too?"

Trazyn no longer wavered, nodding with determination. "This kind of thing, which carries the turning point of Necron history, is of immense significance to my collection."

"Easy enough to discuss. After all, you still have a lot of good things in your vault."

Trazyn bid farewell to Zeke and left the End to find a partner for himself. The vast End was once again left with only Zeke.

Stepping through the End Gateway, Zeke set foot on the outer islands of the End.

The floating islands here were more sparse, the distances between them greater. Chorus Trees grew upon the islands.

Chorus Trees were not actually trees, but more like coral-like structures. The top of every stem branched out into several thin twigs, bearing Chorus Fruit.

When consumed, a Chorus Fruit would teleport the user randomly in the general direction of their line of sight. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

[What a unique flavor. Having eaten 5 different types of food, Maximum Health increased by 1.]

The fruit's flesh melted in his mouth. After a bout of dizziness, Zeke appeared beneath another tree ten meters away.

Zeke choked down Chorus Fruit to travel faster while walking forward, eventually finding an End Ship suspended in the void at the edge.

There were two naturally generating structures in the End: one was the End City, and the other was the End Ship before him.

Zeke bridged up with blocks and boarded the deck of the End Ship. Several Shulkers were attached to the outer walls of the cabin, their shells shut tight.

Upon seeing Zeke, their shells spiraled open, spitting out Shulker Bullets one after another.

Pulling out his Adamantium shield to block the Shulker Bullets, Zeke seized the moment when the Shulkers hadn't yet retracted into their shells. The tip of his sword thrust through the newly opened gap, piercing the creature inside in a single strike.

The Shulkers croaked and died, leaving behind their Shulker Shells.

Bending down to pick up the shells, Zeke turned and walked toward the bow of the ship. Inside the head of the End Ship, he successfully found the Elytra and a Dragon Head.

Elytra was the only flight item in vanilla Minecraft, resembling the wing membranes of some giant insect. They were placed in an Item Frame at the bow of the ship.

After strengthening the Elytra with Sanguinius's feathers in a crafting table, Zeke equipped them.

The Elytra adhered closely to his back, the two wing membranes unfurling. Zeke walked to the edge of the bow and looked down.

Below was the bottomless void. Zeke pulled out a handful of Firework Rockets. Gripping them in his hand, he leapt off.

Woohoo! Takeoff!

The Elytra on his back deployed automatically, the two wing membranes spreading open in the void to catch the air currents.

The speed of the reinforced Elytra was noticeably faster, and they now possessed a partial hovering function, no longer limited to merely gliding like the vanilla version.

Zeke ignited a Firework Rocket in his hand. The explosive force propelled him forward, and he glided toward the portal that would return him to the real world.

Starlight swallowed him up, sending Zeke out of the End.

The moment he stepped out of the End Portal, Zeke was startled by the formation before him. Guilliman had also arrived here, and he and the Silent King were at daggers drawn, a massive battle on the verge of erupting.

"Primarch, I have already said this: my Lord has reached a cooperative agreement with you. As for what happened earlier, that was the doing of a rebel faction led by the Stormlord, and has no relation to my Lord whatsoever."

Phaeron Hapthatra's tone of voice no longer carried its previous arrogance. Especially upon seeing Zeke, he visibly shrank back.

"Zeke, you're finally back," Guilliman took a step back. "Is everything he says true?"

"Of course." Zeke shared this good news with Guilliman.

"We must be careful of these xenos factions going back on their word," Guilliman whispered. "No xenos faction is worthy of trust."

"Don't worry, I won't give them the chance to go back on their word."

Hearing Zeke's words, Guilliman finally lowered the Emperor's Sword in his hand. The atmosphere between the Necron forces and the Imperial forces underwent a miraculous change.

The Silent King ordered the majority of the Necrons to withdraw from this planet.

Zeke, in turn, built a camp on this planet, connected a Nether Portal, and began completing the breeding arrangements agreed upon with the Silent King.

In Minecraft, Villager breeding is tied to beds. As long as there are vacant beds, Villagers will give birth to baby Villagers, who then claim those beds.

There is a method to cause the newly born baby Villagers to lose their connection to the beds, thereby allowing the Villagers to breed endlessly.

Zeke prepared to make a few minor modifications based on this concept, and then construct a Necron breeding tower.

Having conceptualized his approach, Zeke began his construction work on the planet.

A tower structure reaching towards the clouds was completed, filled to the brim with beds.

The Silent King inspected Zeke's contraption. He was highly satisfied with the device and promised that the advance payment was already on its way.

The Necron issue was barely resolved. The Imperium might not have gained an extra teammate, but they had certainly temporarily lost an enemy.

The lifespan of the Necrontyr was extremely short; they usually didn't live for very long. The Silent King of the past couldn't solve this problem, and the current him likely had no solution either.

Zeke planned to use this trump card to fleece the Silent King for all he was worth later on.

It was at this moment that Guilliman found Zeke, bringing back a piece of news.

Nurgle's plagues had launched a full-scale assault, sweeping through Ultramar once again. The speed of the attack was so fast that even the healing effects of Milk couldn't react in time.

Along with it came a Nurgle legion of an unprecedented scale.

Guilliman's expression was grave. "It is my brother, Mortarion. I would never mistake his combat style."
