Idol Revive: If I Don't Debut, I'll Disappear-Chapter 103: Yeo Haruโs Thought
Binh carried a tray of food as he approached them, but when he saw what Rayen looked like, his steps halted midway.
He looked dumbfounded at Rayen. "W-What are you wearing, bro?" ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ท๐๐ซ๐๐ก.๐๐ธ๐ถ
โDonโt ask me...โ
Rayen wanted to hide but remained in his seat.
When Binh didnโt receive an answer, he placed his tray on the table but didnโt sit. Instead, he faced everyone, his gaze focused on Yeo Haru.
"What do you want to eat, guys? Iโll fetch it for you," Binh said.
"No need. Iโll fetch mine," Yeo Haru said.
He stood up and went to the buffet area. Binh looked somewhat defeated as he turned to everyone else. Rayen told him heโll also fetch his own food and stood up. The same goes for the two statues at the corner.
Only one person didnโt stand up.
"Fetch me the same as your food, brother," Minho said with a smile.
Binh stared at him with deadpan eyes, but didnโt say anything.
"You drat," Binh said. "Go fetch your own."
Upon arriving at the buffet area, Rayen watched Yeo Haru thinking hard as his gaze flitted between the two dishes placed side by side on the table.
As though Yeo Haru sensed his gaze, he turned his head toward Rayenโs direction. "Brother, what do you think is the best from these two?"
Rayenโs lips twitched. It seemed like Yeo Haru truly didnโt care about the situation. He was just simply following along the current.
"Just pick the two if you canโt choose," Rayen answered simply.
"Hmm... Iโm on a diet though."
โIf youโre on a diet, donโt eat then.โ
However, Rayen walked over and took a portion of the two dishes, placing them on Yeo Haruโs plate.
"What are you doing?" Yeo Haru asked, puzzled.
"Eating is a good stress-reliever." Rayen also put some on his own plate, bigger than Yeo Haruโs portion.
"... Iโm not stressed."
Looking at Yeo Haru, he didnโt look like a child with his usual nonchalant expression, but Rayen still couldnโt forget how he had cried back then.
It was impossible to read this guy.
Rayen decided to just take this matter directly. After he learned about his death and had an inkling as to what caused it, Rayen could no longer sit still. Infighting between friends wouldnโt lead to a good outcome.
โJust look at where I am now.โ
"Youโre still avoiding Binh," Rayen said.
"Iโm not..."
"You are."
Yeo Haru pursed his lips. "Do you think Iโm that immature?"
โYes.โ
"Brother, even if you donโt say it, I can see it in your face!" Yeo Haru complained.
Sigh.
"At least, hear him out, wonโt you?"
Even though Binh really did do something out of line, he seemed determined to apologize. Yeo Haru might be petty sometimes, but Rayen thought of him as someone with a good heart. If Yeo Haru continued on avoiding the matter, he might regret it someday.
"I already forgave him, though. I just donโt want to keep being friends with him. Oh, weโre never really friends, too." Yeo Haru looked at him. "Brother, not everyone in a place like this could be a friend. Iโve... died thinking that way once."
โWhat?โ
After that, Yeo Haru went back to their table to eat as if nothing happened. Rayen remained on his place watching him.
Sigh.
Taking a bit more food, he also shuffled his feet back to their table to eat. One by one, the former teammates gathered and ate side by side.
Binh tried to start the conversation, sneaking some glances to Yeo Haru. Feeling irked by his piercing gaze, Yeo Haru looked at Binh with a smile.
"Iโm already okay. You donโt have to apologize," he said.
Binh was stumped for words. He hadnโt even said anything yet.
"Iโm still sorry for what happened." Binh said with his head bowed. "If we ever became teammates again... Iโll treat you more nicely."
"Okay. Treat me to some croissants too." Yeo Haru smiled more, then resumed eating his food.
โThat looked so sincere...โ
If Rayen hadnโt heard what Yeo Haru said earlier, perhaps he would believe Yeo Haruโs act.
Did Yeo Haru advanced his visual stats too? He was so exceptional on hiding his true emotions.
Rayen sighed.
โI really need to work harder.โ
Since he couldnโt do anything about the situation, he just decided to step back. Yeo Haru had taken the initiative to resolve the matter this time; just like what Rayen had advised. Forcing things would just make the situation worser.
After their peaceful but awkward afternoon lunch, everyone went back to their training rooms.
What greeted Minho and Rayen was still the same scenery from how they had left their other teammates.
Rayen handed Mr. Big News and Nana their bread shares, but since Xu Jiji was deeply asleep, he didnโt know what to do with the bread.
โShould I just place it beside him? How can he sleep like a log in this hard floor?โ
Noticing Rayenโs dilemma, Mr. Big News trotted towards the two of them.
"He might get cold in the floor," Mr. Big News said.
"Should we wake him up, then?" Rayen asked.
"Iโll do it," Mr. Big News volunteered. "Iris mentioned he would always throw a fit if heโs woken up."
โThen, isnโt it a bad idea to wake him up then?โ
Rayen looked at Zbigniew with a questioning look.
"Itโs already the afternoon. We need to practice more."
After waking up Xu Jiji, the kid really did throw a tantrum. Watching him, Rayen couldnโt help but compare him with Yeo Haru.
Unlike that guy, Xu Jijiโs really too transparent.
As the night approached, the team was finally satisfied with their last-minute adjustments. After sharing a dinner, everyone said goodbye and went back to their own dorm rooms.
Rayen checked the progress of his Visual Ranking Mission and discovered that only one compliment was added to the counter.
Sigh.
โThis is too hard.โ
The next morning, Team Love Makers gathered once again. Today, theyโll be filming their music videos.
