This talent lets him get the attention of any monster or people in a three hundred meters radius and force them to attack him for half an hour. They cannot go and attack other people other than him, and if they try to do otherwise, their life force will be absorbed by Jacob and enchant his body for a certain amount of time.

Arthur Verqur nods and orders the archers around him to prepare before telling them to shoot at the monster attacking the people underneath them. He smiles a little as his plan is working. He then looks at the group of mages coming with him and says.

"Mage. Prepare your magic. Attack the one on the back. Archer focuses on the one near the phalanx."

He shouts loudly, and his people obey his order.

The twenty mages near him start to chant, and ten massive fireballs appear above the wall after a minute of chanting. A second later, those fireballs fly toward the back row of the monster coming to the wall.

A massive explosion happens when those ten fireballs hit the enemy, turning many monsters into ashes. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

They continue to fight for half an hour, and Arthur knows that they cannot last long if it keeps going like this. He looks down and gives his order to the other unit to prepare and change into a new and fresher unit.

The new unit slowly came from the gate and killed any monster in front of the first unit. After killing the monster in front of the phalanx unit, the second unit arrives, quickly stabs their shield on the ground, and points their spear forward.

The first and second units then slowly get inside the fortress. When the first and second units return back to the fortress, the third and fourth units slowly move back so the wall can protect their back.

Seeing the army return from the battlefield, Sonia quickly takes action and leads twenty healers to take care of the one just getting inside. She takes out a vial of potion and lets the soldiers drink them while she and the other healer check on them in case there is poison or some kind poison, leech, or any type of debuff inside their body.

They find a few leeches among the soldiers that stay in the front and take care of it.

While Sonia and her group are the ones taking care of the group that just got inside the fortress, Gwyn is the one making sure the group that Jullian and Freyja lead stays alive. With Gwyndolin ensuring they are alive, the four hundred people attacking the eastern wing go crazy.

Combine it with how Gwyndolin heals them each time he restores some of their stamina or outright restores their stamina, so they can keep attacking with their one hundred percent strength.

Alexander, the one leading all the archers in the eastern wing, looked at the battlefield and nodded his head. However, he quickly frowns when he sees another wave of monsters coming, and they are coming through the gap between the two armies outside the wall.

If Jullian and Freyja are an assault unit and Jacob and his unit a defensive unit, Alexander and his men are the hit-and-run tactics. They are the ones hitting the monster when they are focusing on either unit and killing them before running away.
