I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 222
"Another invasion from the north, huh?"
I release a sigh and lean over my chair. Why? Why do they want to kill us? We don’t do anything to them. We only want to be left alone and enjoy our day. I release another sigh and look at Jonathan.
"Do you have enough evidence for us to get support from the king?"
"Sadly, no, my lord. The letters do not have any stamp or anything that we can use to tie it to them."
"So we know they want to attack, but they are smart enough not to use their stamp in their letter."
"That is correct."
"That means we will fight alone once again."
I look at Jonathan and say.
"I need you to tell Jullian to prepare the boys for the incoming fight."
"What about me, my lord?"
"I need you to inform the Southern Lords about the incoming attack. Make sure you tell them that they need to prepare to fight an army of humans and monsters."
I don’t like these hooded figures. They are preparing something, and I don’t like what they are planning. The empire fell because of them, and I don’t want it happening to this kingdom. This kingdom has a lot of problems, but it is still my home.
Also, Catharina says that a hidden organization wants to destroy this world by awakening some kind of evil god. I bet this organization is the culprit. According to her, they are the reason for all the trouble in the original timeline.
"After you are done informing all the lords, I need you to gather as much information regarding the hooded people."
"I will make sure to get all the information regarding them. May I use a more... unconventional method, my lord?"
Torture. That is what he meant by that. I told him not to use torture in his information-gathering method unless he really needed to do it. However, I am more than happy to let him go wild in this situation.
"Do whatever you want to do. Just ensure you don’t do it on innocent people, Jonathan."
"I understand, my lord."
"Good. If there is nothing else, you are dismissed."
He nods and leaves my office, leaving me alone in my office. I am thinking of a way to minimize casualties in the incoming war. Just like the empire in the south of us, the biggest pain in the butt is the monsters that will wreak havoc across the kingdom.
The monsters are the ones that make the Empire fall, creating chaos and destroying the sense of order in the empire. They separate the empire into three factions and cause a long war between each other. That is what the shady organization wants from all of these monsters summoning.
I need to kill the monsters before they grow stronger or have enough time to do some damage to the kingdom or, worse, my territory. That means I need to bring the big gun from the guild vault.
I open the portal to my guild base and walk through it. I immediately walk to the vault and look at the riches we get from the golden day. After looking for a few seconds, I walk toward the hidden section of the vault.
This is the personal vault of my guild’s crafter. All of their failed projects and best works are here, from a ring that can create small gusts of wind to something that creates a magic blast that can destroy a mountain.
I look around for a few seconds before my eyes land on a small jewel. I pick it up and smile a little. This jewel only has one function: creating barriers around the user and the enemies. No one can leave without winning the battle.
This is a perfect item in case of a War Event back in the Second Chance. I remember my guildmate activating this jewel and trapping two hundred players inside the dome while he activated his Invulnerable Skill. He is wearing a ring that prevents any Buff Cancelation so he can keep his Invulnerable state as long as he can. This strategy works especially when we give him a special scroll.
We spend a lot of time and money to make that plan work as we need many things to create scrolls that remove a cooldown of one skill under level one hundred and twenty for two minutes.
I remember the excitement of rushing through the remaining players and reaching the opponent’s HQ on the other side of the battlefield. I also remember how the GM needed to ban the scroll use when the next War Event happened.
I think it is time for me to show the world my full capabilities. I will use the full power of the Trinity Guild and show the world what is an overwhelming power.
I look around for a few seconds and take a few items from the vault so I can access them easily. Other than consumable items, I also take a few weapons, armor, and accessories for the others. For Jullian, I take a set of armor and weapons that increase his speed, HP, and defense and let him release a bolt of lightning with a small MP Cost, perfect for an off-tank like him. It will let him into a Tank that can also do a DPS and dodge attack. He is not a pure tank, but he can take a good amount of damage before he falls.
I take a set of armor and a weapon that increases his speed, as well as DPS. Not only that, it also increases his poison with how he loves using poison. Lastly, it will increase his stealth capabilities. He is my assassin or ranger in this party.
Mage armor and weapons are for Silva. She is still debating going all in into DPS or support, which is why I picked this set. It is a set that is perfect for someone who is going into a generalist. It increases her overall magic damage and increases her chant speed. It also creates a shield that will protect her from attack when battle starts. It is not the best shield, but it is good enough to take one or two attacks.
I pick a set of armor and weapons that increase Hilda’s speed and critical chance. She is our archer, and this set will be perfect for her. Not only that, her weapon also has a chance of causing bleeding each time she hits the target. Her armor also lets her double the height of her jump, and she does a double jump and negates all fall damage from her jump.
With that done, I am ready to leave my guild base and am ready to call the others to have some training. They need to train to be able to use those armor and weapons. I will make sure they have the requirements to use them and train them even more when they are able to use them.
However, I stop when I remember someone. Should I get two more sets for Catharina and the other Jonathan? They might not be my true companion, but they are my allies. I nod and decide to take a mid-level armor set for them. I will be giving them these armors when they visit.
For now, it is time to train.
