I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 216: Ambassadors Return to Capital and New Project
|Ashryn Erharice Ozawen – Princess of Ozawen Kingdom|
This place is wonderful! It has been four days since I arrived in this place, and I must say that I enjoy every second of it. I have been going around Cunningham County, and all of the territory is the same.
What I mean is that it was all full of pure Natural Energy around me. It was mesmerizing and also felt good to my soul.
Sadly, all things must end as we will be returning to the north now. My name here has come to an end, and I need to return to the capital to start my negotiation with the king. I truly did not want to leave, but I still have my duty.
"Thank you so much for taking care of us, Grandmaster Gwyndolin."
He gives me a tired smile as I chuckle a little. Gwyn did not like being called by his title. He is called Heir Cunningham or Heir Gwyndolin rather than Grandmaster Gwyndolin. He is a weird one. Any young man who has his title will always boast to the sky about his achievement, but he is different. He will not boast about his achievements, but he will not downgrade them. He will admit it when asked or someone tells us about it, but he will never exaggerate about his achievement like many others.
"Don’t worry about it. I am just glad that you enjoyed your stay at our place."
After saying that, Gwyn looked at the woman standing next to me. This is Vida Verlagan, the princess of the Verlagan Kingdom in the western continent. She is a free and wild woman who likes to fight and go on adventures.
She is one of the few people who took me around the area and showed me some interesting things about this place. She even took me to some place where even Gwyn did not know, like when she took me to an underground cavern to the west of Shadowfall City.
It was a beautiful cavern filled with crystal that shone in gorgeous blue. Sadly, once we take the crystal out of the cavern, the light disappears because the cavern has a special type of magic that makes the crystal shine.
"And for you, good luck with your diplomatic business."
"Of course, Gwyn! I might not look like it, but I am great at diplomatic negotiation, you know?"
The voice her people release, I have a feeling that Vida is not great at diplomatic talk.
"Right! Just ensure that we do not cause too much trouble and that we are good."
"I am not that bad!"
We all laughed at her outrageous voice before we entered the carriage. We wave our hands as the carriage leaves the city.
"So! What do you want to talk to the Gipan King?"
I look at Vida and say.
"I want to get the items that pirates stole from one of our cargo ships. However, that is not the real reason. The real reason is to make an alliance with the GipanKingdom."
"Then we have the same reason for coming here. After Gwyn and his group save our kingdom from a monster disaster, we want to make an alliance with Cunningham County, but sadly, it is not proper to make an alliance with a vassal of someone without involving their king."
I nod at those words. That is so true. You cannot make an alliance with someone vassal without involving the master. You can do that, but the vassal’s master will think of the vassal as a traitor who wants to take the throne from the king.
That is a recipe for civil war.
"That is true. I also want to have an alliance with Cunningham County alone or at least the Southern Alliance. After seeing the people in this place and comparing it to the north, I realized it is like a day and night."
Vida nods and says.
"That’s right. However, it is what it is. My brother knows that Lord Cunningham can accept the alliance without any precaution, but he is too honorable to do it."
I chuckle at that and say.
"That’s right. They are honorable people, but behind their honorable front is a very wild and strong lord who will destroy anything that dares to exploit him and his family."
Vida nodded her head in a serious manner.
"That is true. They are kind and caring people, but if someone thinks that it is a weakness, they are wrong."
I nod my head in agreement.
"Let’s just hope no one is dumb enough to anger them."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I release a sigh and smile a little as I enjoy the beautiful day.
"You know..."
I open my eyes and smile a little when I see Hilda’s face above me. Today is a picnic day. After all the political nonsense coming from the capital and with all of our guests going to the capital, we are free from any political mess.
Don’t get me wrong. Vida and Ash are great people to have, but they are still princesses from other countries, and I still need to watch my mouth so as not to get too far. However, with them gone, I can finally let loose and enjoy my day.
So today, we decided to have a picnic, and Silva is currently cooking the food. Silva decided to make a simple salad and sandwich.
"Many men will use their free time partying and drinking with the others, but here you are having a picnic instead of going out like normal men."
"Hah! Since when do I consider myself a normal person? I don’t care what others think. I am happy to enjoy my time with my family."
I smile at her and continue.
"Especially when an angel like you is taking care of me."
My grin gets bigger when I see her blush at my praise, and I cannot help but kiss her cute lips. She looks at me in shock before punching my chest gently.
"That’s unfair! Y-You cannot do that without letting me prepare for it."
I laugh a little and sit on the ground. I look at Silva, who walks toward us with a tray of food. I take one of the sandwiches and say.
"What do you guys want to do after this?"
Silva looks at me and says.
"I don’t know. I did not have anything in mind. What about you, Hilda?"
"Hmmm? I don’t have anything in mind. I am willing to do anything you guys want to do."
I grin at that word and say.
"That’s great! I want to open a new medical garden not too far away here."
"Another one? Why don’t you expand the secret garden, Gwyn?"
I look at Silva and say.
"Because these herbs did not grow in a normal environment. I want to create an underground garden, you see."
"Underground? I don’t think any medical herbs can grow underground. I read a lot of medical books lately and never see one that can grow underground."
Hilda says in confusion.
"It is a new type of plant."
It is a plant from Second Life. It is not a high-level plant but an important ingredient to make high-level potions. It did not need anything other than underground and in a cool environment. It’s not freezing but cool.
"How do you do that? Do you want to use your magic to dig underground?"
At that question, I start to grin and say.
"It’s been a while since I trained the boys. Let’s gather the Fenrir and Okami units! Let’s train them in digging and fortifying!"
