We arrived in Ulian City, where our ship will take us back to the Luzia Kingdom, and from there, we will go to the Gipan Kingdom. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

When we arrived, Lord Sarhakan quickly asked us to stay inside his castle for a day or two so he could make a feast for us before we returned home.

As we enter the castle, I can see Anderson standing in front of the dining room. I smile at him and say.

"Anderson! How are you?"

"I’m doing great, Grandmaster."

"Bah! Call me Gwyn. We are friends, no?"

He smiles at me and says.

"Of course, Gwyn. Anyway, I’m doing great."

"How is your adventuring journey?"

"I’m now an E-rank adventurer. However, after you are casting that spell, the hunting quest stops for a while. However, the escort mission increases because the monster is gone for a while."

"Really? Huh. Also, for a while? Does that mean the monsters are getting back?"

I nod and say.

We then walk inside the dining room. As the door opens up, I can see a lot of food on the table, and I can also see the servant getting a barrel of what I know is wine and beer. The servant takes us to our seats.

However, unlike before, I sat in front of Lord Serhakan, and the princess, Vida, sat at the lord’s table. It is because she has a higher title than Lord Sarhakan, and the seat needs to be given to the princess.

Lord Serhakan sits on the second most important seat, just like me, near the lord’s seat. Hilda and Silva sit near me, indicating that they are my spouses, and Sonia sits next to Hilda, indicating she is our daughter.

Jullian and Jonathan sit at the end of the table because they are not noble, and the only reason why they are in the room is because they are my bodyguards. They have the same position as the Knights. That makes them important enough to be able to sit with the lords.

I learned about this from the book in Mantah City while we were staying there.

After we took our seats, the servant quickly poured wine into our glasses, and Lord Serhakan took it and then got up from his seat.

We also get up from the seat with a glass of wine in our hands. Lord Serhakan raises his wine and says.

"Let’s declare the feast starts! May this feast be a blessing for the Grandmaster and the Princess’ group, who will go on a voyage to the Southern Continent! Let us toast! Toast for your journey!"

All of us raise our glasses and drink all the wine inside our glasses in a single gulp. After drinking the wine, a group of priests walk inside the room with their priest robe and their holy books.

We place the glasses on the table and let the priest pray while circling us around.

This is the tradition for Orn Religion. They will ask a group of priests to bless us by chanting in their holy word to ask the God of the Sun and Sand, Orn, to bless our journey. To give us a warm sun instead of a dark storm.

This blessing is working, at least according to the people on this continent.

The merchants who like to voyage to other continents willingly spend a good chunk of their money to ask the priest to bless them and their cargo. The Gods and Goddesses in the world are more involved than the ones on Earth.

I don’t even think there is one on Earth if not for a miracle of me getting a second chance in life.

The effect of this ritual will give us better weather on our journey to our destination. However, the blessing will be gone after we reach our destination. Because of this, some wealthier merchants decided to hire a group of four priests to come on their voyage, especially when they were getting into the eastern continent.

I don’t know if the priests in the South can do this kind of thing or if they can only awaken someone’s talent. I need to investigate this and maybe hire some of the priests to bless the land and the merchant for me.

And the ritual is done. The priests take out a flask filled with holy water and splash some of them to us while still muttering a chant. The finishing ritual takes one more minute before the priest is done. They bow a little and leave the room, leaving us to enjoy the feast.

We sit down, and the princess looks at Lord Serhakan.

"We have already got the blessing, you know? My brother will not let me leave without performing this kind of blessing."

Lord Serhakan looks at her and smiles a little.

"I know, princess. However, there is nothing wrong with asking for another blessing, no?"

The princess shrugs and says.

"Well, this is your money, after all. I don’t really care. I just think that it is rather a waste of money."

"But to me, this is worth every coin. Anyway, let’s enjoy the food!"

And just like that, the foods start to move from one plate to another. I take some lamb stew, a couple of bread, and a salad bowl. While eating, Lord Serhakan looks at me and says,

"Grandmaster Gwyndolin, can I ask which port the ship will arrive at?"

"First thing first, call me Gwyn. As for the ship, Captain Nathalia and the Grand Explorer are already waiting for us in the dock in this city, and we will arrive at the Sea Serpent Point city. The journey takes us a few days, depending on the weather, the monsters, or the pirates. However, with the blessing, we will arrive in Sea Serpent Point city in seven to eight days."

Lord Serhakan nods his head, takes a sip of wine, and says.

"That is good. Your first stop will be the Luzia Kingdom, right?"

I nod and say.

"Yes. Sea Dragon Point City is located in the Luzia Kingdom. We will visit my fiance’s parents and my future Good Father (also known as Father-In-Law) before we go to the Gipan Kingdom."

Lord Sarhakan nods and looks at the princess, who is eating some of the lamb stew. He waits for the princess to swallow her food before he says.

"Princess, will the diplomat have a talk with the King of Luzia Kingdom?"

The princess wipes her mouth and says.

"Maybe. I did not ask my brother about that kind of thing. However, there is a high chance of that happening. We did not only want to have an alliance with the Gipan Kingdom but hoped to make another alliance with the Luzia Kingdom."

The princess looks at me and says.

"Gwyn, will you stay in the Luzia Kingdom for a few days, less than a week, for the diplomats to finish their job? We can explore the Luzia Kingdom."

I look at Hilda, nodding her head quickly. She looks at the princess and says.

"Sure! I can take you around the kingdom!"

Hilda then looks at me and says.

"You never explore the Luzia Kingdom, right? I will take you around. I will even take you to the most beautiful hot spring in the entire kingdom."

I smile at Hilda and then look at the princess.

"Well, you hear her. We will stay in the Luzia Kingdom until the diplomats are done with their jobs. We will explore the area with Hilda as our guide."

The princess’s face brightened at that news, giving us a huge smile.

"Thank you, my friend. Thank you for letting me explore the area."

I shake my head and say.

"It is our pleasure, Vida. We are friends, no?"

"Thank you nonetheless."

I nod and continue to eat the food.

Early in the morning, we entered the dining room, where the servant had already put food on the table. This time, it is a lighter food like salads and porridge. There are some fruits as well for us to bring in our voyage to prevent Scurvy from happening.

After eating, we go to the dock where Captain Nathalia is already waiting for us and order her crew to help the servant from the castle load the ship with the fresh fruit and dried fruit Lord Sarhakan gives to us.

I look at Lord Sarhand and offer him my hand. He takes it, and I say.

"It has been an experience staying in your city and your kingdom."

He smiles and says.

"It is an honor to have you in our kingdom and city, my friend."

After saying goodbye, we are getting on the ship and keep saving as our ship takes us back home.
