I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 185: Playing with Children and Return Back Home
My last day in this place is peaceful. There is nothing happening while I’m here. However, I’m glad to be staying in this city.
"Gy! Gy! Again! Again!"
I laugh a little as Arslan runs toward me. Arslan, the boy that I healed in the past, is a cute boy. He is an active boy, just like his sister.
"Yes! Again, Gyn!"
"En! Again, Gyn!"
Standing next to him are his twin sisters, Saba and Aida. They are adorable and kind kids.
I pat their heads and put the circle made of palm leaves inside the soapy liquid. After dipping inside the liquid, I take it out and blow at it. A lot of bubbles come out from the circle, and the children start to chase after them to see who can pop more.
They are running around as I keep blowing bubbles for them to pop.
After spending time in the palace, I made friends with the king’s children and even took out some toys from my inventory from the Second Life game. There are balls and soap bubbles, but without the stick that let me blow the bubble with.
Because of this, I need to make one using palm leaves.
"You are great with children, Gwyn."
I look to the side and see Silva walk toward me with a smile on her face. I give her a small smile and say.
"Thank you. I have been taking care of Rachel since she was a baby and have had an experience with children because of it."
I continue to blow more bubbles for the trio and hear them screaming in happiness.
Other than Rachel, I have also had an experience with children in the hospital in my previous life. Before I can’t leave my room, there is a group of children that I always play with. They are just like me, A group of people with a lethal disease that cannot leave the hospital.
I’m glad to play with them and like to see them smile. They are such a precious thing in the world. It is a shame that I cannot play with them anymore after playing with them for only a year and a half.
Even when they are sick, they can still give a cheerful smile and laugh loudly at the littlest joke or tickle. I just hope that they still survive to this day or at least be given a second chance, just like me. They deserve it, and I hope they will have a caring family like me once they get a second chance in life.
I hope nothing but the best for them.
"Do you want to have one?"
I blow another wave of bubbles and look at Silva.
"Hmmm? I don’t mind, but are you sure? Being a mother is hard, you know?"
I blow another bubble and continue.
"Being a mother is not only giving birth but also having to take care of the children."
I blow once again.
"Giving birth is hard, but taking care of children is the hardest. You need to take care of their needs, educate them, and ensure they learn what is right and wrong."
Bubbles fly out of the palm leaf, and the children get another wave of excitement.
"I will also help and make sure our child grows into a respectable young man or young woman."
The children decide they are done and run toward me. They hug my waist, and I hug them back.
"I don’t mean to scare you, Silva. However, you need to know that it will not be easy."
I look at Silva and smile gently at her.
"I don’t mind having a child, but are you ready? A young mother is known for their bad behavior to their children. It is not all of them, but most young mothers do not care for their children and only care for their personal life. What I want to say is that enjoy your life first before getting a child."
Silva looks at me and sits next to me.
"You don’t mind not getting heir quickly? Many people said that to have heir quickly and keep getting children because the younger they are, the more chance of them having children, and the older they are, the bigger the chance of them getting barren."
I laugh a little, put the three children on my lap as I sit on the grounds, and say.
"Which do you trust more? People who did not have any healing power or me? I have been learning healing spells, books about the human body, and any kind of medicine books since I was eight years old. I know what they are saying is not true."
I also read a lot of books in my previous life. I will not call myself a doctor, but I read and learn about medicine from the doctor and nurse caring for me. I can say that I know more than the people in this world about medicine and medical knowledge.
"So, you don’t need to worry about not getting a child. You are not barren. I already checked it because you are requesting it. The only time you will not get any children is when you reach the age of forty-three or above, and that is a long time."
Silva releases a sigh and fidgets next to me.
"T-Then can I enjoy my youth first."
"Of course! I’m happy to give you that."
"B-But... Can we give it a try next year?"
I laugh a little and say.
"Of course! I’m happy to perform my duty as a lord!"
Silva leans over me and gives my cheek a quick kiss.
After kissing me, I feel someone tugging my clothes, and I look down to see Saba looking at me with her innocent eyes. I give her a pat and say.
"What is it, dear?"
"Gyn, are you going to make babies now?"
"En! Are you going to make babies now? Does that mean we will have little brother and sister now?"
"Brother? Arslan will have a little brother and sister?"
Now I laugh loudly at that innocent question and the blush Silva has on her face.
=/Line Break/=
"Thank you for taking care of them while we are in the meeting, my friend."
I smile at the king and give the two children in my hands while Silva gives Arslan to the wet nurse. The three children are now sleeping soundly after I read them a book from my pocket dimension. There are a lot of children’s books in my pocket dimension.
"We don’t mind. They are a delight to play with."
"And you spoiled them with all the games you let them play and the story you tell them. They start to demand a story before they sleep now."
I laugh at that word. Well, I cannot say anything to that because it is the truth. I spoiled them a little too much, but I did not regret it because I also made sure to teach them what my father taught me. Not to be a dick is the first rule I tell them but with a watered-down language and explanation that a small child can understand. The second rule is that don’t discriminate against other races.
Those two rules are a good enough foundation to make you decent.
"I’m sorry about that. It looks like I got a little bit too far, huh?"
"Fufufufu~ We don’t mind, Gwyn. In fact, we are grateful for you to take care of them."
I look at the queen and say.
"Oh?"
"We want to spend time with our children more often, but because of our job as the monarch of a country, we cannot do that. Getting them another parent figure puts us at ease, knowing they are cared for. We are also glad that you teach them an important lesson in life."
"Well, those things are an important foundation of life, you know?"
"Fufufufu~ If only everybody had that kind of foundation. We will have a long-lasting peace in this world."
"I know"
The queen’s smile turns into a sly smile and says,
"Did you know that they are already calling you an uncle?"
"Oh? Really? They call me uncle, huh?"
"Yup~ They also call Silva and Hilda an aunty while Sonia, a big sister."
I smile a little at that news and say.
"Then I will wear that honor proudly."
For some reason, the queen’s smile got even bigger.
"Then what about becoming an honorary member of the Verlagan Family?"
I smile at her and say.
"Please don’t joke around like that. We are not worthy of being a royalty."
The queen looks at the king, and the king walks forward and says.
"You are more than worthy of the title, my friend. We should be the ones to feel honored for getting you into our family. Please think about it, my friend. We are more than happy to have you in our family."
Before I could say something, the king put his hand on my shoulder and said,
"Anyway, let’s talk about tomorrow. You will be returned to the Gipan Kingdom, right?"
