After a few minutes of flying, we arrived in front of the previous cave. We land in front of the cave, and I look at my companion.
"I want you all to go all out. Here."
I take out the highest-level armor and weapons they can use and give the gears to them. I open the portal and let them enter my pocket dimension to change their gears. After ten minutes of waiting, they returned from my pocket dimension with their new gear.
They are wearing a level one hundred and fifty gears. Why did I not give them gear for a max-level player? They can’t, as in they cannot even touch that gear. It looks like there is a certain requirement for the people in this world to equip a max-level gear.
What they are wearing is something that my friends use on their high days. It was their former gear that they switched for a better gear. That doesn’t mean that the one they are wearing is bad. It is the opposite, in fact.
What they are wearing is the best of the best type of gear any player can equip. Not only does it have the max-level enchantment, but it also has a lot of exotic effects that boost the performance even more.
Take the bow Silva is using at the moment. It was a weapon that increased her attack speed by four hundred percent, and each of her attacks had a chance of causing one of these five negative effects: [Blind], [Fear], [Stun], [Silence], and [Charm].
That bow is the perfect Crowd Control in a boss fight. The only downside is that each negative effect has a cooldown. Each time she causes a negative effect, it needs two seconds before another one can be applied.
However, this downside is not a problem because of her current set. Her armor set makes her attack have a chance of causing one of these four negative effects: [Bleed], [Fire], [Poison], and [Vulnerability].
The first three are the basics. They are a negative effect that does damage per second, but the fourth one is different. [Vulnerability] increases the damage the target takes for a certain amount of time. This is the most powerful effect of the armor set, as all the effects can be stacked up to ten.
Other than causing a negative effect, the armor set also increases the amount of Crowd Control effect from the weapon by one. That means there can be two Crowd Controls applied to the enemy.
Let’s not forget the other gears. All of them are for negative effects and crowd control.
I shake my head and look at my companion.
"Let’s get this over with. Remember, we are going all out. Leave the healing to me. Focus on killing the monsters."
My companion nods their head, and we get inside the cave. We walk deeper into the cave and pass some kind of barrier after walking for a minute. It looks like we have arrived in the dungeon. We get deeper into the dungeon, and I hear a rumbling from the distance.
"Here they come!"
I take out my Starglobe and staff.
"[Zodiac: Taurus] [Zodiac: Sagittarius] [Zodiac: Libra]"
Taurus to reduce the damage received, Sagittarius to buff any physical range weapon attack, and Libra to reflect any damage my companion took to the enemy within a twenty-meter radius.
After I cast those spells, a horde of monsters charged at us. The monsters on the front were four-legged creatures similar to a bull, but instead of flesh, their bodies were made of stone, and there were crystals around them as armor.
"Sonia! Jullian!"
"Leave it to me, young master!"
"Yes, father!"
Two of them walk forward with their shields and plant them on the ground. After they are walking forward, I raise my staff and cast another spell.
"[Gaia’s Throne]!"
Green magic circles appear from underneath me and expand until they reach thirty meters long. This is a force any monster below or equal to my level to attack the one I designate as a target. That means all the monsters cannot attack me or anyone other than the one I mark.
This is a perfect spell to ensure the other party member survives when they are getting chased by a raid boss. The only downside of this spell is that I can only mark an ally or a summoned creature. That means I cannot mark an enemy so they can fight each other. The last downside is that it has a radius; when the enemy leaves that radius, they can attack the other party member. Long-range attack is the weakness of this spell.
I place the mark on Jullian and Sonia, and now, I can focus on healing the two of them, as the other will not be attacked for the next fifteen minutes, or at least until I can see long-range monsters.
I snap from my thoughts when I hear a crashing sound and see Sonia and Jullian holding their ground against the stampede.
"[Twinkling Star]! [Explosive Seeds]!"
Laser coming out from my Starglobe hit the monsters in front of me, killing a dozen of them at once. Twelve seeds fly from my staff and latch on the monsters at the back. I can see the seed grow and explode a few seconds later.
With Sonia and Jullian holding back the stampede, the rest of us have an easier time attacking the monsters.
"[Forest Guardian]! [Callisto]!"
After my first buff disappears, I quickly replace the buff with another buff with a similar effect. I make sure to circle all the buffing spells and healing spells I have for this fight.
"Push! [Zodiac: Capricorn]!"
[Zodiac: Capricorn] will increase any blunt attack and boost your movement speed. Sonia and Jullian make a shield bash to push the monsters away and start to attack the enemy. Two arcs of lightning, one yellow and the other blue fly through the cave and kill a lot of monsters.
I made sure to put all the corpses in front of us inside my pocket dimension so they did not get in the way.
We slowly move forward as the monsters keep coming at us. I take a deep breath and release it before casting another wave of spells.
"[Twinkling Stars]! [Explosive Seeds]! [Withering Flower]!"

Olyvar Itor looks in the distance with a worried expression on his face. It has been five hours since Gwyndolin and his companion departed, but they have yet to return. He is worried because his request makes them clear the dungeon on their own.
He did not want a group of young and promising adventurers to die. He wants them to protect the kingdom after he dies. He knows that they are the future of his beloved kingdom.
"You are still thinking about them, huh?"
Olyvar looks to the side and sees his old friend, Benham, walk toward him. Benham throws a bottle of wine at him, and he catches it. He opens the bottle and takes a drink.
"Of course. I’m worried about their safety. Not only that, but they are an essential group for the defense of the city."
"You are right. However, like I said, you need to have some faith in them."
"I wonder how you can stay calm like that. The researcher who gets close to the Southeast dungeon says it was a high-level dungeon, you know? It took three S-rank Adventurers to clear one of the high-level dungeons in the past."
"I know. However, you didn’t know them well enough. Did you know that they also cleared a high-level dungeon in my territory? Lokah City has the same problem as Belltown. There are four spies in the adventurer guild who make sure the information about the dungeon does not appear on my desk. The one that appears on my desk is not the true information. Olyvar looks at Benham and starts to laugh, thinking that it was a joke. Seeing his friend did not laugh, he looked Benham right in the eyes and said.
"You are not joking, huh?"
"No. I’m serious. They should be coming back soon. I just know it."
"My lord! My lord!"
The two of them look at the door, and Olyvar shouts.
"What is it?! Come in!"
The door opens, and a man comes inside the room before kneeling in front of them.
"My lord! The Six Stars Party has returned, and they have conquered the dungeon! The researcher already confirms the core and declares that the dungeon in the Southeast has already been conquered."
Benham looks at Olyvar and says.
"See? All you need is faith."
