I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 120: New Beginning
"I never thought that we would start to march once again this soon."
Jullian says it out loud, and I cannot help but nod.
"You are right, Jullian. However, we cannot do anything about it. At least this is not a big march like before."
To stop this so-called rebellion, we are marching with only four hundred and fifty men and a couple of dozen engineers to build the siege engine in case something worse happens. However, after sending Jullian and Jonathan before the march with the rest of the army, I got some news that our plan was working, and now the army will open the gate for us.
However, there is one piece of bad news. The man who is whispering dark thoughts to Nathaniel is now hiring a mercenary. They have yet to come, but I think they should arrive by now or tomorrow.
Marching an army is a long and difficult matter. That is why marching in an army is not something people will do every time something happens. Usually, they send less than a hundred men to do skirmishes or fight monsters, and a hundred people are not considered an army but a unit in this world. An army consists of more than one unit of soldiers.
"I just hope that this problem did not last long."
"We all hope so, Jullian."
The time to take us to Blackmore City doubled from when I recently went to that place. Even without a supply train, we still move slower because of the size of the army. We should arrive in Blackmore City tomorrow afternoon. After we get out of the forest, we will see the city.
Blackmore City is the only city that was not placed on top of a hill or a mountain. Blackmore City is in the middle of a large lake, not too far from the tallest mountain and also the biggest Iron source in the Gipan Kingdom.
It is called Blackmore because when it reaches a certain time, the sun will be behind the mountain and cast a giant shadow over the city. The city did not have high-ground advantages like the other cities in the South, but it had a giant lake surrounding the city to protect it from invaders.
It uses the lake as a faster transport between the mine in the tallest mountain, Gkar Peak, and Blackmore City. The mountain is full of Iron, Copper, and Tin.
That is another reason why my father wants to take back Blackmore quickly. This city is the biggest iron producer in Cunningham County. The nearby mountain near Shadowfall has iron and copper but not as much as the one around Blackmore City.

|3rd POV|
Fillian, the man who whispers dark thoughts to Nathaniel, looks at the incoming army in front of him. He manages to get a few hundred mercenaries to work for him and fool the soldiers in the city to work for him for a moment.
He knows that they will rebel against him when they see the incoming army, but it should be enough time for him for his secret plan, running away. He now has his scapegoat, the mercenary, and now it is high time to run away.
He only needs to stay on the wall for an hour or two before disappearing into the crowd and running away. He did not want to stay any longer in this damned city but needed to show up momentarily to assure the mercenary that he would stay with them.
All of this is a play, of course, but he will not say that to the mercenary he hires.
So here he is, standing on top of the wall, as the advisor for the current lord of Blackmore City.
He can see the soldiers have already arrived on the inner island, and he knows that they will arrive in front of the wall sooner than later. He knows that the army in front of him needs to prepare themselves and get him enough time to stand here, ensuring the mercenary group does not run away immediately.
However, his eyes widen when he sees the army already on land and starts galloping to the city. Two hundred riders are coming to the city.
"Are they stupid?"
Fillian cannot help but ask that question. He quickly orders the mercenary to raise their bow and arrow, but before the archers can do anything, the soldiers behind the mercenary take out their weapons and start attacking the mercenary.
"What?!"
His eyes get even bigger when he sees the gate open up. He knows that the soldiers of the city have played him, and he is about to run away. However, before Fillian can even take a step away, one of the captains slams the butt of his sword at the back of the neck of Fillian and sees him fall to the ground, unconscious.
The captain looks at the unconscious man and sneers before barking an order to the other soldiers.
The mercenary group quickly surrenders because the situation is not in their favor. Just like that, the rebellion is defeated before it can get bigger.

|Catharina von Xenotra - Heiress of Baron Xenotra|
"Rebellion? Really?"
I look at the spy in front of me and see him nodding his head.
"Yes, my lady. Two days ago, Lord Cunningham, Lord Jiran, and Heir Gwyndolin defeated a rebellion that the former Heir Nathaniel, the former son of Lord Jiran, staged."
"Why? I don’t need to know that that is a stupid decision. All I want to know is the reason why I even have the thought of rebelling. Does Gwyn’s power not spread out? I thought that he is known throughout the Southern Territory."
"Stupidity, my lady. However, the main reason is that Nathaniel wants to take over his father and hire a pair of assassins from the underworld to kill the Jiran couple. However, Lord Christoper and Lady Jullian manage to get away from the pair of assassins because of the items Heir Gwyndoling gave them. I don’t know the effect of the items, but I know what kind of items they were. It was two rings."
Two rings, huh? It is a shame that he did not know what kind of effect it had.
"I see. With his plan gone to the gutter, he decides to do an open rebellion, huh? That is stupid. Anyway, do you have something you get from this investigation? Some kind of items or anything."
"Yes. I managed to get this. I found this on the ground where Lord Jiran and his group got attacked."
The spy takes out a patch of clothes from his pocket and places it on the table. The patch of clothes is nothing special, but the symbol on it makes it something special.
"I see. So they start to move, huh?"
"Who? What is that symbol, Cat?"
I look at Jonathan and Veronica, who look at me with a curious and worried expression. I look at them for a few seconds and think. Should I tell them? Is it time to tell them the truth? Or should I say a half-truth?
Argh! Fuck it. Let’s tell them about it. Not the whole truth but the truth nonetheless.
"What am I going to tell you will sound outlandish, but it is the truth."
I look at the spy, and he knows the message I want to convey to him as he walks away from the room. When we are alone in this room, I take a deep breath and say.
"I know the future and some of the past."
"What?"
"Really?"
I can only sigh at their answer.
"Like I said, what am I about to tell you will sound outlandish, but I’m not lying. I know the future and some of the past. Jonathan, you awaken your fetish when one of the maids tries to molest you to get your seed so she can join your family, but when you stab her using a butter knife and hear her scream, you awaken something inside of you."
I can see Jonathan wants to retort but stop mid-way when I say that. That is a secret he keeps deep inside of him because he does not want others to know about the reason why he likes to torture what he considers an enemy. He did not want even his father to know the dark past he had experienced.
I look at Veronica and say.
"You once had a toy ship and pretended to be the captain of the ship. You even ask your father to be a Kraken in your imagination and fight him using a toy sword."
Unlike Jonathan, who is shocked at me knowing his dark secret, Veronica blushes at that word. It was an adorable flashback when we reached a certain [Love Points] with Veronica.
I look at the two of them and say.
"Do you believe me now?"
The two of them nod their heads and look at me with a new light.
"I’m a little bit afraid to inform you guys of the true enemy of this world, but I think it is time."
I take out a memory of the cutscene of the game that shows the destruction of the Gipan Kingdom and the rest of the Southern Continent before showing it to them.
"Let me tell you about Black Rose, the worshiper of the God of Destruction."
