Chapter 570 - 570 Record of Ragnarok: The God King of Destruction, The Dance of the End of the World, The Pain of a Champion's Fall, Tears and Indestructible Will, And the End of the Battle.
Allen had met too many people and this battle shook several worlds.
In Asgard, Thor spat out his beer for the third time, grabbed another mug of Asgardian mead, and drank with his friends at the bar. "I told you that bastard was strong!"
In NYC, Hulk smashed another wall as his excitement grew, eager to join the fight.
In Olympus, Aphrodite fainted for the third time, nose bleeding, while Hestia threw a bucket of water at her and Artemis poked her with a stick to check if this time she had actually died. "Ah❤️~"
In Themyscira, Hippolyta watched her sister Antiope (who always had a serious gaze and a gallant bearing) scream like a little girl for the second time. She clenched her fist while her eyes remained fixed on Allen, fighting against a god. Only Hera knows how attractive this was to an Amazon.
Diana was in a similar situation, screaming from her apartment as she cheered Allen on to rip Shiva's head off—a violent yet adorable combination. "One more blow, dear!"
Rangiku threw a punch in the air while shouting, "Break his teeth!" but in doing so, she hit Nanao with her butt, causing her to spill her hot cocoa all over the table.
"Ara Ara~," a calm yet eerie voice came from the couch. There, the Shura smiled at a pale Rangiku while Nanao huffed in frustration.
Mayuri watched the four-armed god with interest, surprised that he could hold his own against that monster. Meanwhile, Nemu; his vice-captain, oversaw several tanks containing the surviving Visoreds as they attempted to reverse their transformations into Hollows.
Beerus watched with interest. When Whis asked him about his curious fascination with the fight, Beerus simply sipped his drink and replied that while it wasn't the most impressive battle that brat had been in, it had its own unique charm.
Superman smiled as he floated above Metropolis. To him, Allen was a peculiar guy—one who teetered between light and darkness. But no matter how much darkness surrounded him, he was never consumed by it, and always had his own unique glow.
Batman entered the Batmobile alongside Barbara to stop a robbery. The girl kept watching the fight on the vehicle's screen, and Batman didn't stop her. "Go ahead!"
Kimiko sat hugging a plushie on the Walker House sofa in The Boys universe, her eyes fierce and brimming with killing intent every time Allen got hit. Annie entered quickly, saw Kimiko in a trance, and immediately got comfortable to keep watching. Maeve arrived halfway through the fight and joined the group of girls.
Gwen had a mix of unconditional support and extreme concern on her face. MJ, on the other hand, put on a cheerleader outfit and gave it her all, believing in Allen's victory. Felicia stood on the roof in her Black Cat suit, also watching. She hardly showed weakness, but at this moment, she was worried.
In Invincible Universe 2, Eve and Samantha sat side by side shouting obscenities at Shiva, calling him a cheater and shameless. Robot, watching silently from the doorway of the throne room, was speechless. Wasn't this woman supposed to be the Empress?
At the X-Mansion, Allen's students—even those who feared or hated him—watched with a determined glint in their eyes, infected by Allen's spirit.
Rias began radiating killing intent as she saw Allen get hurt. Akeno tried to console her, but her aura was just as fierce. Koneko watched nervously from the corner.
Kratos drank a beer while shouting. To him, this fight was his lifeblood—the perfect condiment for a drink. His son Atreus looked at him from behind with a strange expression.
In the teacher's lounge, Mystique screamed with excitement as she saw Allen beating the crap out of Shiva.
Evy stared at the screen with little interest—until she looked closely at Allen's body and suddenly felt warm.
Different reactions, different emotions—but there was one thing shared among Allen's viewers and all of humanity during Ragnarok: their complete support for their champion.
...
Allen let out a deep exhale that pushed the fire away from him. In one motion, he launched himself toward Shiva—without fear, without hesitation, without regard for danger, afraid of nothing.
Allen's fist filled with an Invincible force that formed a shield to protect him from the flames of destruction. His fist pierced through the sea of fire and collided with Shiva's punch.
With the first blow, a massive shockwave cracked the sacred mountain that barely stood. The second blow scattered the clouds. The third blow turned the surrounding atmosphere murky.
By the fourth punch, Shiva's fist shattered while Allen's hand burned. Both stepped back, but the pause didn't last—they attacked again. More savagely. Every punch from Allen was like a meteor destroying the god's body, and every blow from Shiva burned Allen's skin, sometimes even his muscles. Allen enhanced his "vision" as much as he could to prevent the fire from burning him, but he inevitably got hit.
It was a brutal fight, each blow tearing life from the other.
*Shiva's POV*
What's wrong with this kid?
His punches hurt like hell; they sting and make it harder to move. We're both taking damage... both our blood is spilling... we should both be weakening, tiring out, suffering...
Then why is he getting stronger?!
Every one of my punches feels heavier, but he keeps getting faster.
"...."
Why?!
How can you do this?!
What the hell am I fighting?!
No, it can't end like this! I won't let it end like this!
*End POV*
...
In a fit of rage, Shiva dropped his guard and launched an all-out assault. Allen countered in surprise, but the difference was clear—he had only one fist against Shiva's two.
Allen's punch struck Shiva's, destroying it, but Shiva's remaining fist landed squarely on Allen's face. This time, Allen could not dodge, deflect, or even block it. His head jerked back, his vision blurred, and he collapsed to the ground.
[Allen!]
"..."
The arena was paralyzed. It had seemed like Allen dominated most of the fight, but Shiva had taken him down.
There was absolute silence—especially among the spectators. It was true this version of Allen was considerably weaker. It was true he wasn't using even a tenth of his abilities. But he was still the same Allen who always emerged victorious. When was the last time anyone had seen him this hurt, this close to defeat?
...
There was an air of disbelieving calm everywhere, but the ones who felt it the most weren't Gojo—who watched, furious—or Brunhilde—who needed her sister's help to stay on her feet. It was the dolls...
Yes, them...
No one spends more time with him. No one feels more deeply what it means to see their master—the man who seemed absolute and the strongest of all—the pillar they depended on, trusted, leaned on, and believed in... now lying on the ground with no sign of moving.
Artoria, who had been standing beside the ring with a serious look, loosened her back and prepared to run to Allen—but Esdeath stopped her.
"Move."
Artoria's voice had never been colder toward anyone than it was at that moment. Yet Esdeath didn't budge.
"Don't be stupid. If you intervene, he loses!"
"So what?!"
Artoria, losing control and reason, didn't want to give up—but then she saw Esdeath crying.
"I want to go too..."
When Artoria saw those broken, pain-filled words, she couldn't reply. And she wasn't the only one losing control. Albedo desperately wanted to attack Shiva, but Makima stopped her, binding the succubus in chains.
"Let me go!"
"..."
Makima lowered her gaze, her hair covering her face. She knew they couldn't intervene, yet her hands clenched so tightly they bled.
Rebecca also stopped 2B with a device on her head. But while she worked the holographic tablet, her hands trembled.
"This is a lie..."
"Mas.... ter!" Meanwhile, 2B looked like he was getting corrupted, with a red glow in his eyes.
Harley dropped to her knees, pale, shaking her head in denial. Next to her, Bocchi knelt with a vacant stare.
Wednesday gently petted Bocchi's head. "Don't worry..."
Jalter watched the girls fall apart one by one. She thought she was okay, so she turned to Kurumi.
"What should we do?"
Kurumi stared at Jalter for a moment before stepping forward. "You won't do anything..."
Jalter wanted to ask what she meant, but her vision blurred and she couldn't see. Jalter wiped her face, not knowing why she felt so miserable.
Kurumi sighed. Seeing terrifying women broken by a man left her disgusted. Even Wednesday, who was trying to remain calm, couldn't fool her.
The Spirit Girl stepped forward, her attention fixed on Nokotan, who was stunned. Then she looked at Allen lying on the ground. For a brief moment, she wanted to laugh, to mock him—but upon seeing this version of the man she hated most, her words got stuck in her throat. Kurumi heard someone crying behind her. She didn't know who it was—or perhaps she didn't want to. She looked at Allen, then bitterly averted her gaze with a frown.
"You're not that weak..." Kurumi muttered. "Get up already... so many people are hurting from seeing you like this."
Kurumi, a woman who believed she had no heart, didn't understand the reason behind her words. But she had already spoken to them—realizing there were things about herself, she didn't yet know.
...
Kurumi's words reached Allen. Not only hers—the voices of the others did too. His body trembled. He punched the ground, forming a small crater, and just like that, he became conscious. He stood up immediately, frustrated. The damage had been so great he blacked out for a moment.
There was a general sigh of relief and Allen apologized in his heart for this pathetic mistake.
[Are you okay?!]
'No. I'm furious!'
Shiva grinned as Allen got up a second after being knocked down. His spirit, far from fading, had grown stronger—but his breathing was rough, showing that even Allen got tired.
"Alright then! That was an excellent blow! Come, god—come at me with everything you've got and try to crush my will... if you can!"
"That's the spirit, damn human!"
Shiva charged, and so did Allen. Willpower clashed against divine pride. The impact shook the entire mountain range—perhaps even the world itself.
While everyone trembled in fear...
The fight could have ended in a single instant...
"Ding ding!"
The round ended. Silence filled the air as both fighters returned to their corners. This time, Esdeath didn't let Allen arrive before wrapping him in a hug. Allen comforted his girls.
"I'm fine, don't worry..."
"Shut up!" Esdeath trembled, plus Allen received complaints from the other girls.
"I'm sorry..."
Shiva, on the other hand, was met with a worried look from his wife—he was literally burning alive. Still, he smiled as his body radiated light, even with two destroyed arms and ash falling from his skin.
Allen gently patted 2B's head and whispered that she shouldn't worry. Then he turned his eyes to Shiva, who was staring back at him.
...
Heimdall had been so stunned by the fight, he forgot to narrate.
"WHAT A BATTLE! A MAN AND A GOD—A CLASH OF PRIDE, OF HISTORY, OF MINDSETS! BUT IN THE END THERE IS ONLY ONE WINNER!"
One would think that from this point on, the fight would only diminish, but it did not.
[Round Four]
Both of them went straight at each other. The clash was terrifying and devastating, but it ended with Allen headbutting Shiva, knocking him down and returning the favor.
[Round Five]
Allen rolled across the ground, clutching his stomach—he had taken a kick that his willpower armor couldn't block. He quickly stood up, but the round ended.
[Round Six]
Brutal. Even when the bell rang, neither of them stopped. Allen(Nokotan) had to intervene herself.
"You bastard, I'll rip your head off!" Allen shouted.
"Calm down, Allen!"
"Try it, you damn monkey!" Shiva fired back, being dragged away by Ganesha.
"Dad, the round is over!"
[Round Seven]
Allen collapsed and spat blood but got up and lunged at Shiva. He tackled him to the ground and landed several punches before they were separated again.
[Round Eight]
Shiva, on the ground, shielded himself from Allen's kicks while cursing him for abandoning technique. In response, Shiva also let go of elegance and bit Allen's leg.
"#$&@!" Allen cursed.
[Round Nine]
At this point, they were too exhausted to dodge. Allen took a hit and returned one. Blood flew everywhere, but neither surrendered. Only the injuries piled up. It was a savage brawl—one no one dared interrupt. Doing so would mean death... for the loser and their side.
[Round Ten]
By now, the blows weren't too fast to follow anymore, but they carried monstrous force. Allen took a punch to the gut that made him bend over and spit blood. Shiva received a hit so hard it looked like his head would fly off. Blow after blow, more painful each time...
*Ding Ding*
Shiva sat in his corner, barely responsive. His body was burned, and his soul dried out. As described in the Tandava Karma, he was on the brink of turning to ash. Parvati clung to him. She wanted to beg him to stop—to say there was no need for this. The King of Gods didn't need to die here.
But she didn't. Because even as his body decayed, Shiva's gaze was locked on his opponent, making it clear—nothing and no one would stop this fight.
...
Allen somehow reached his corner. He didn't even know how. Part of him thought this was stupid. He could've just switched back to his original form and wiped out every god in this world. Why go through all this?
"You're okay..."
A soft voice reached Allen. As his vision cleared, he saw Brunhilde kneeling in front of him.
"I... I'm sorry..."
Brunhilde no longer cared if the gods found out about her relationship with Allen—or her true identity.
"That's enough... We still have many fighters left... So please, that's enough!"
The tears rolling down Brunhilde's cheeks were like a bucket of cold water, snapping Allen back into focus. He had gained an indomitable combat instinct and limitless will—but he'd focused so much on his opponent that he forgot why he was fighting in the first place.
Allen leaned forward and gave Brunhilde a gentle kiss. "Don't worry... it's over now..."
He stood up in front of her stunned gaze. This time, he walked toward the center of the ring with no guard. By doing so, he sent a clear message: he would no longer defend himself. Not because he couldn't—but because it wasn't necessary anymore.
Shiva smiled at this. 'This is the end...'
They stared at each other one last time. There was a trace of frustration in Shiva's eyes.
"You didn't use your full power. You didn't use any abilities, weapons, not even a Valkyrie—and still, you gave me one hell of a fight... Allen." Shiva smiled.
"I hate the gods of this world and their irrationality... how they treat humanity like a game. Their arrogance in judging humans for their sins—while being just as flawed themselves," Allen's voice turned calm, though firm. "And yet... I can respect you. You've shown me it's possible, Shiva."
The moment was consumed...
The universe froze.
Every god. Every human. Everyone stopped—whether they were watching the fight or not.
Shiva burned like the Sun of Destruction...
Allen materialized his willpower—so massive, it felt endless...
"SHIVA!"
"ALLEN!"
Fist and fist shattered time, space, and reality itself before colliding. The impact made all existence tremble. For a moment, it felt like the world was ending.
But it didn't. One had to give. One had to break. And so...
Allen's arm slowly charred—his skin and muscle burning away. But instead of retreating, Allen roared and advanced. Shiva tried to endure, but as he looked at his opponent, he knew—it was impossible to break that will. Even if he burned him to the bone, Allen would keep fighting.
'I'm sorry...'
"AAAAAHHHH!" Allen let out one final push.
It happened in an instant—Shiva's fist disintegrated. It was over. Allen struck his chest, creating a massive hole. The impact unleashed a storm that shook the sky and the earth.
Shiva fell...
The system returned both to the Ragnarok arena...
"A... ah...." Allen gasped, exhausted and in pain, his arm now black as coal. The world went silent. Just as he looked like he was about to fall, he raised his arm toward the sky.
Nokotan ran up and hugged him—followed by the dolls, and then Brunhilde. In the chat, the legends say half the world screamed in unison at Allen's victory. In the arena, the human side erupted, and even several gods had to admit defeat this time.
The battle was over.
And a champion stood—undisputed.
===
A/N: Well it's over, it was a satisfying battle and although Shiva lost I hope this elevates his image as God King a little more.
