Chapter 517 - 517 Invincible: A Second Date with Amanda, Crisis in Talescria, Lucan, Vidor and Thula vs. a Human and Anissa's Arrival at the Worst Time.
The leaves of the trees were falling as the children in the park played happily. People smiled while going about their lives more peacefully. This is what they should do, or at least try, before some giant monster, ancient god, conquering alien, interdimensional being, or supervillain decides to destroy everything. But you can't live being negative, so people make an effort to maintain happiness and normalcy as much as they can.
In that same park, Allen was walking with Amanda, who was holding his arm. Leaving behind her previous appearance, she was wearing a beautiful white dress with heels and a sun hat, something charming and unusual for this city. Times change, and dresses are outdated for many girls. However, Amanda, who had really been in a prison wearing casual clothes, decided to try out if she could embody the charm of a feminine girl.
Allen doesn't care much for secret identities but doesn't want someone to disturb them on their date, so he changes his hair to white and pretends not to be Allen Walker.
"Hehe~" Amanda laughed, "Can you say that again?"
Allen looked at the girl, who was very happy and didn't refuse. He stopped his steps, and she let go of his arm to stand in front of him.
"You look very beautiful and charming."
Amanda smiled silently while blushing deeply, then turned away and cursed.
"Damn it, on second thought, don't flatter me so much, it's hard to handle!"
'You asked for it,' thought Allen, keeping a serious expression.
Amanda had a strong personality and could be rough at times. The delicate girl's image didn't suit her, yet she wanted to try it once. But at that moment, she realized she was too embarrassed to interact with Allen dressed like this.
"Alright, I can handle it!"
"No, you could have started with a skirt and a blouse, you didn't need to jump straight to dresses," Allen chuckled.
"I already did, even night dresses, casual clothes, jeans, from discreet to those that highlight my figure, even lingerie!"
"Amanda..."
The girl covered her mouth when she saw that everyone was looking at them. "F*ck!"
"..." Allen didn't know what to think; on the one hand, Amanda looked cute; on the other, she cursed every three steps.
She took Allen's hand and guided him. Today, he was indulging Amanda, so he followed her without refusing to a more secluded area, and they both sat on a bench. Allen noticed she didn't let go of his hand even after reaching their destination, but he didn't say anything, and they remained like that. Amanda intertwined her fingers with his and smiled, her face flushed, not looking at him.
Amanda was an open book about wanting to get close to Allen. She had always had the potential to be a beautiful girl, but her curse kept her looking young. But that was in the past. Although she didn't look like a twenty-five-year-old woman, she could stand next to girls like Kara, Raven, Ruby, etc., without seeming out of place. This was due to the monumental training she did, which once rejuvenated her, but now that effect had reversed, accelerating her growth. There was still the question of whether she preferred to look her real age or remain looking like a girl who had just turned legal, but that was a less relevant matter.
Amanda still wore her brown hair tied up in a ponytail, but her body had changed. She had become taller, curvier, and more attractive, to the point that men's gazes now turned to her. Of course, she didn't welcome anyone because there was already someone in her heart, this person who could have had any girl in the world, never rejected her, despised her, or pushed her away. She had patiently waited to be worthy of pursuing him, and now she had reached that point.
She intertwined her fingers with his more tightly as if to confirm something and he responded by doing the same, making her want to jump on him and kiss him.
"Thank you..." She muttered.
"It's not something to be thankful for," Allen smiled.
"..." Amanda smiled faintly and with her other hand, she touched the pendant Allen had given her. During this time, he had saved her from many injuries, some even dangerous. You don't have to be a genius to know how valuable this pendant was. In addition, when she found out from Gwen that he only gave it to the girls he cared about, she was moved.
"Amanda..." Allen began to speak calmly while looking at the sky. "Maybe you think I haven't seen it, but I've seen how hard you've worked until now. You're a strong girl... capable of walking through life alone..."
"Allen..." Amanda felt her heart tighten. She didn't want to hear those words because they sounded like something you said before rejecting someone. 'Don't continue...'
"You could find a man just for you, someone who can give you his heart completely... a guy who's not a bastard womanizer."
Amanda felt a cold stab in her chest and denied in disbelief and fear, 'No... don't say that! Don't continue! Don't do this to me!!'
Amanda let go of Allen's hand and covered her ears before starting to cry and curse everything in this world. She was about to stand up and throw the bench they were sitting on into space. She didn't say it out loud, but perhaps, deep in her heart, there was still a part of her that wasn't convinced that he would ever like her.
Allen looked at Amanda in that state. He stood up, kneeled in front of Amanda, extended his hands, and placed them on her cheeks before lifting her face. He wiped her tears, but she didn't want pity, didn't want comforting words, or any nonsense. However, none of that happened. Allen kissed her on the lips, which she didn't expect.
"...?!"
"I could say a thousand things to push you away, but every time I think about it, it irritates me, it angers me to think of giving you to someone else, it disgusts me to not have you near, I hate giving you up just because of a small problem like your curse... so I decided that I won't let anyone have you, it's too late for you to escape..."
Amanda's heart beat loudly, and her clear eyes widened, reflecting the figure of the man in front of her. His face was serious as he contemplated his own words. He already knew his own personality, which is why he gave a small warning to women not to fall for him because sooner or later, he wouldn't let them go.
Amanda was happy and angry at the same time. She wanted to kiss him and curse him for making her go through all that.
"Bastard, son of a bitch, scumbag, trash! Couldn't you have said that faster?!"
Despite insulting him and saying horrible things, she had a huge smile on her face. Allen didn't hesitate and hugged her.
After an apology and enduring more insults, Amanda improved her mood. How could she not? Officially, she could consider Allen her boyfriend. It had been torturous to be in limbo, had it not been for Allen's refusal to wait until she returned to her proper age, or at least a more acceptable one. She would have attacked him long ago.
...
They continued their date, though there was now a warmer atmosphere around them.
"I want ice cream~"
"Mmm, I don't know if they sell it around here..." Allen looked at Amanda, who was smiling with amusement. "If you want, I can make one..."
"No, you don't understand honey, looking for this kind of stuff out there while spending time with your boyfriend, it's part of a date~" Amanda smiled mischievously, "Also, all this time you didn't let me sneak into your bed made me feel that good things taste better when they're not so easy to get ❤️~"
"Oh, I see..." Allen mocked. "If that's what you want we could also postpone all intimate activities until marriage."
Amanda gave him a dark look and a frightening smile. "No, no need to go that far, darling..."
Allen decided not to tease her anymore, or Amanda would turn into a troll and start throwing cars at buildings. It's no joke, she once did that out of frustration to hear every night of his nocturnal activities with Eve, Kate, or any girl who appeared out of nowhere. Amanda didn't calm down until Allen took her on a trip around the world, just the two of them, which put her in a good mood.
The date continued until the system interrupted Allen.
[I didn't want to tell you to ruin your day, but John the Alien is in trouble...]
'How bad is it?'
[Three Viltrumites want to kill him...]
Allen felt annoyed. Of all the days they could have chosen, they picked this one to bother him.
Artoria – Do you want us to handle them?
Makima – Don't underestimate them, there's a chance they're stronger than they should be, like that Nolan guy...
Wednesday – It's true, comparing the two Omni-Man, there's a big difference in power and skill... how strange.
'Don't worry, I will go to Talescria personally... I want to find out if the other Viltrumites are stronger too, or if Nolan is a special case,' Allen looked at Amanda who was smiling in his arms as they flew over London. 'But I'll have to wrap this up quickly and go back...'
...
....
...
The space shook from Allen's attack. This tremendous force hit Thula, whose body entered the atmosphere of Talescria and crashed onto its surface.
Vidor immediately attacked Allen without hesitation. Allen dodged the strike and countered with a hook to his chin that shattered his glasses from the impact, sending him flying through space.
"Human!" Lucan attacked Allen.
Allen did not say it but was equally puzzled. It was impressive how none of them hesitated to take action. They were elite warriors, ready to die on the front lines. Of the millions of Viltrumites who died fighting each other, and of the fifty thousand who succumbed to the scourge Virus, only fifty survived. So, definitely, none of them were weak, both mentally and physically.
Allen stopped Lucan's strike with his right hand.
"What absurd strength, human!" Lucan smiled with contempt.
"..." Allen didn't respond, clenched his left fist, and used it to deliver a blow to Lucan's stomach, another to his chest, one to his throat, and without releasing his arm, he threw him toward Talescria.
Lucan burned up in the atmosphere like a meteorite and crashed into a huge desert of rock and earth, exactly where Thula had fallen. The impact of Lucan's body created a massive explosion that shook the earth and left behind a huge crater.
"That bastard..." Lucan said, holding his throat and adjusting his organs that had been shifted by Allen's blows.
"What are you doing? Get up quickly!" Thula shouted, looking at the sky.
Lucan opened his eyes and looked at Thula. Before he could ask what she meant, he noticed that she was staring at the sky. The atmosphere was compressed and the clouds parted while something approached at a terrifying speed.
"DAMN!"
Lucan tried to stand, but it was too late. Allen appeared in the sky for an instant, just in time for Lucan, with his monstrous reflexes, to see him before they collided. A shockwave spread across the desert, causing an earthquake.
"AAAHHHH!"
Lucan screamed and spat blood as some of his organs exploded. Allen looked at him without pity and raised his hand to finish him off. He released extreme heat that coalesced in his hand to form a red flame with an iridescent aura, then compressed it into a sphere.
"...!"
This robust man, Lucan, was one of the Viltrumites who eventually got married and had a family on Earth. However, as Allen had said before, he didn't care about the unwritten future or the possibilities of tomorrow.
Lucan saw the scarlet orb in Allen's hand and had been close enough to the stars to know the temperature of that thing.
"Bastard, don't underestimate the Viltrumite pride!"
Lucan attacked Allen with his fist. The strike hit the Aurora Fire sphere, shattering it but also burning his own hand in the process. Although that didn't matter to him, Lucan pummeled Allen, forcing him to retreat, then attacked him with all his might.
"Idiot..." Allen was irritated, and his eyes flashed. But at that moment, Thula attacked him with her braid, which seemed to have a blade made of special material. Allen dodged Thula's blade and Lucan's fists.
Allen didn't back down and attacked, breaking through Lucan's defense and striking his chest with his palm. This time, he used chi to rupture Lucan's lung.
"Ahh!!"
"Impossible!"
Thula was stunned for a moment, which allowed Allen to attack her mercilessly. By the time Thula reacted, it was too late. Allen was about to hit her in the side.
"Not so fast!"
Vidor arrived from the sky and kicked Allen's back. Allen planted his foot on the ground to avoid falling and grabbed Vidor's leg, attempting to crush it.
"What are you doing, Thula? Attack!" Vidor shouted.
Thula snapped out of her shock and furiously attacked Allen. Allen released Vidor and blocked Thula's attack. It was absurd how their movements synchronized.
Thula launched a kick that Allen blocked. When Allen was about to counterattack, she withdrew and attacked Vidor from a different direction. This repeated over and over again. They alternated attacking Allen, and every time one would be struck, the other would take their place.
"It's the same..."
Allen thought in amazement, recognizing the same thing that had happened in his battle against Nolan of this world. His opponents showed an extremely high combat IQ. In an instant, they understood his strength and how dangerous it was for them to take his hits. They came up with a way to attack while exposing as little as possible.
Was this abnormality caused by Allen, or is this universe simply abnormal?
Allen smiled and accelerated. His speed wasn't limited by common sense, so in an instant, he became so fast that he grabbed Vidor by the head and dragged him, brushing his head against the ground across the planet, avoiding populated areas.
This should kill him, right?
Indeed, the Viltrumite lost half of his track, revealing his skull. However, he didn't die. Instead, he held on to Allen's arm with all his strength.
"KILL HIM!"
Immediately, Lucan and Thula appeared like meteors from the sky. They both crashed into Allen's back, creating a massive explosion that shook the planet.
'How did they get here so fast?' Allen was confused.
He had left them behind, but there they were, both of them. At that moment, Allen concluded that Thula and Lucan had flown in the opposite direction to intercept him from the front.
'Again...' Allen felt as if his opponents were able to adapt to his movements, even with the massive difference in power. They were still able to fight him. Vidor broke free and escaped, holding his ruined face.
...
The three regrouped.
"Vidor, are you still alive?"
"I only lost some flesh and skin, nothing important. How about you, Lucan?"
"My left lung, liver, and stomach exploded. I have other organ damage, but I can still fight. Thula?"
"Two broken bones, that's it..."
The Viltrumites were terrifying cockroaches that survived being crushed or having their jaws ripped out. Lucan, in particular, survived after Nolan opened his stomach and his intestines spilled out.
"That kid is a monster. How did Nolan survive?" Vidor grunted as blood dripped from his face.
"He could be a coward who gave up on his mission, but he's still the Great Nolan," Lucan replied indifferently. It was strange to say whether he was mocking him or showing respect.
"Nolan said he would surrender after taking care of something. Do you think it's true?" Thula grunted. "At first, I thought he was just a coward as he sent us a message saying to be careful on Earth and not to attack it. But it's starting to make sense...!"
A burst of energy pierced Thula's stomach. She spat blood while staring into the distance. Allen floated in silence, watching them. One might think they suddenly became stupid and decided to talk in the middle of a fight, but that wasn't the case. The three of them were recovering while also thinking about how to defeat Allen while only talking about other things on the surface for show.
"It seems like this level of power isn't enough against you..."
"...!"
The three Viltrumites felt an even greater chill down their spines than when they first encountered him.
A blue aura surrounded Allen. The sky darkened, the earth trembled, and his strength skyrocketed. They who have lived thousands of years cannot remember if they were ever in shock so many times.
...
Beerus opened his eyes after waking up. "Finally stopped playing, brat?"
Whis stayed silent. "I have to admit, I'm surprised by these Viltrumites' adaptability. Anyone can fight against someone weaker, or with equal strength, but fighting for so long with someone stronger is impressive..."
Beerus grunted. "Yeah... but this fight was lost from the beginning for them... if that brat had come to this world much earlier, it would have been in danger. However, he's already too powerful for that world..."
"..." Whis narrowed his eyes, watching Allen.
"Is something wrong, Whis?"
"It's nothing, I just felt something different in the kid... Did anything happen while I was away?"
Beerus grabbed a fruit from the side of his bed. "Who knows, I was asleep..."
"Beerus-sama..."
Whis sighed and looked at Allen for just a second before convincing himself that it was nothing.
...
In an instant, Allen appeared in front of Vidor, striking him so hard that he lost consciousness for a moment. In a single move, he gathered an energy sphere in Vidor's stomach and detonated it. A massive explosion tore apart the atmosphere and shot out into space. Vidor, the Viltrumite with blonde hair who survived the purge of his species, the scourge Virus, and an attack from Rognars, disintegrated without a trace.
"I don't care about a future that's not written. I don't care if there was any chance of you rewriting your fate. Right now, you're nothing but a sadistic trio of Viltrumites..."
Thula and Lucan moved away from the explosion while watching Vidor die. For them, weakness was a sin. If someone died, it was their fault, for being weak. But at this moment, neither of them could guarantee they would survive if they were in Vidor's place.
Allen's gaze turned to the pair of Viltrumites, sending chills down their spines. However, while Allen was on Talescria, something that shouldn't have happened occurred.
....
High in the sky a woman with short hair and a cool gaze but with some expectation and curiosity smiled, "So this is to earth, the home of humans...the home of that human."
Anissa arrived on Earth, much earlier than she should have!
