Chapter 478: End Of The Perverted Journey

I ended up waiting in the lounge for quite a while.

At first, I didn’t think much of it. Alphonso had carried one of the dwarven prostitutes upstairs earlier, and knowing him, he would probably take his sweet time. So I simply leaned back on the couch and watched the people moving around the brothel.

Some men came downstairs looking exhausted but satisfied, while others walked in with eager expressions like they had just discovered heaven.

Sigh...

After what felt like forever, I finally saw Alphonso walking down the stairs.

The moment I saw his face, I knew exactly how things went.

He had this stupidly bright smile stretched across his face, like someone who had just accomplished his life goal. He walked straight toward me and dropped onto the couch beside me.

And he was still smiling.

I glanced at him.

He kept smiling.

I stared for a few seconds longer.

He was still smiling.

"Are you done?" I asked. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

"Jake..." Alphonso said, leaning back against the couch with a satisfied sigh.

Yeah. That answered my question. I crossed my arms and looked at him.

"So? Are you satisfied?"

"Oh, absolutely," Alphonso replied without hesitation. "The one I carried upstairs was amazing. That woman really knows what she’s doing."

He shook his head like he was still impressed.

"She rode me like a professional. Honestly, I can see why this place has such a good reputation."

I raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment.

Alphonso continued talking anyway.

"At first, I was thinking of calling for another one after we finished," he said. "You know... like dessert."

"But in the end, I didn’t bother," he added with a satisfied grin. "One was more than enough. She completely drained me."

"Good for you," I said flatly.

The grin on his face somehow got even wider. Yeah... this guy wasn’t coming back to reality anytime soon. He is lost in the land of degeneracy.

I stood up from the couch.

"Well, since you’re done, let’s go."

Alphonso blinked.

"Huh? Already?"

"Yeah," I replied, already walking toward the exit. "Unless you want to stay here all night."

Alphonso quickly got up and followed behind me.

"Hey, I wouldn’t mind that," he said as he caught up. "But if you’re leaving, then I guess I’ll leave too."

We walked through the brothel and stepped outside.

The street was just as lively as before.

Bright lights filled the area, and music echoed from the nearby clubs. People walked up and down the road, some drunk, some excited, and some clearly looking for their next stop.

The billboards with dwarven girls were still flashing above the buildings.

Honestly, the whole place felt more like a giant amusement park than a prostitution district.

Alphonso stretched his arms as we walked down the street.

"Ah... that was great," he said happily.

I didn’t respond.

A few seconds passed before Alphonso suddenly turned to me.

"By the way, Jake," he said, looking curious. "How was yours?"

I glanced at him.

"What?"

"The one you carried earlier," he clarified. "Did you enjoy yourself?"

I kept walking.

"I didn’t get to fuck any dwarf."

Alphonso stopped walking.

"What?"

I continued moving forward, and after a moment, he rushed to catch up.

"Wait, wait, wait," he said quickly. "What do you mean you didn’t get to do anything?"

"Well," I said casually, "turns out the one I paid for wasn’t actually a normal prostitute."

Alphonso frowned.

"Then what was she?"

I shrugged.

"A runaway princess."

Alphonso froze again.

"What?"

I glanced sideways at him.

"She’s a dwarf princess who ran away from home because she didn’t want to marry her fiance."

Alphonso’s mouth slowly opened.

"So... instead of doing business with a prostitute," I continued calmly, "I ended up listening to her story for a while."

"And?" Alphonso asked weakly.

"And in the end," I said, "I somehow got engaged to a dwarf princess."

For a moment, Alphonso didn’t say anything.

Then he nearly choked.

"WHAT?!"

A few people on the street turned to look at us.

Alphonso grabbed his head.

"How does that even happen?!" he demanded.

I shrugged.

"Long story."

"No, no, no!" Alphonso said, pointing at me. "You can’t just say something like that and call it a long story!"

"Well, it is," I replied.

He stared at me like I had just committed a crime.

"Unbelievable..." he muttered.

We continued walking toward the teleport station. Alphonso kept shaking his head.

"I swear," he said after a moment. "Why are you always the lucky one?"

"Lucky?" I asked.

"Yes, lucky!" he said loudly. "I go upstairs with a prostitute and come back satisfied for one night. Meanwhile, you walk into a room and somehow end up engaged to a princess!"

I didn’t respond.

Alphonso continued rambling.

"This isn’t fair," he muttered. "Everywhere we go, something ridiculous happens to you."

I ignored him and kept walking.

Eventually, we arrived near one of the teleport stations scattered around the city.

Just like the others, the place was busy. People came and went through the gates, traveling between different areas of the planet.

Alphonso finally calmed down a bit.

After a moment, he looked at me again.

"So... where are we heading next?" he asked.

I didn’t answer immediately.

Before I could speak, Alphonso suddenly snapped his fingers.

"Oh! That’s right!"

I glanced at him.

"We should visit the cat-girls planet!" he said excitedly.

I slowly turned my head and stared at him.

Alphonso froze.

Then he sucked in a cold breath.

"Oh. What’s wrong?"

"Did you forget something?" I asked.

Alphonso scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Right... Hayes," he muttered.

"Yeah," I said flatly. "Hayes."

The Matriarch of the entire cat-girl race.

And someone who would definitely hear about it if we showed up there messing around.

Alphonso coughed.

"Guess that’s not a good idea," he admitted.

"No shit."

We stood there quietly for a moment.

Then Alphonso looked at me again.

"So... where are we going instead?"

I shook my head.

"Nowhere."

"Huh?"

"I’m done," I said simply.

Alphonso blinked.

"Done?"

"With this perverted adventure," I clarified.

He looked shocked.

"Wait, what?"

I folded my arms.

"I told you before," I said. "I have important things to take care of."

Alphonso stared at me for a moment.

Then he sighed.

"Yeah, you did say that."

I glanced toward the teleport station.

Truthfully, this whole trip had been ridiculous from the start.

Asteken eggs.

A dwarf princess.

And Alphonso running around chasing prostitutes.

Sigh...

At some point, I would probably go on another long journey.

But right now?

I had far more important matters waiting for me. And it was about time I started dealing with them.
