I Regressed With a 10,000x God-Tier Multiplier-Chapter 44: God Slayer
Time resumed its flow, but the world felt heavier, denser, as if still recovering from the divine stasis Lucifer had imposed.
The balcony was a chaotic ruin: jagged shards of the fortress floated midair, purple and golden fire crackled in suspended motion, and the very air hummed with the residue of divine energy.
Lucifer hovered above Zerathis’s faceless form, the ruby glow of the Carnage Core infusing his longsword with violent, searing power.
His breathing was steady, his mind focused. Every muscle screamed from the effort of the previous battle, yet he was untouched by doubt.
The Avatar of Zerathis, the god whose fury had shattered his companions and twisted the air itself was within his grasp.
Below, the halo of dark fire around the god’s head pulsed ominously, ready to explode, ready to destroy everything in its vicinity.
Lucifer’s eyes narrowed. This was the climax. One strike, one perfect cut through the divine essence, would decide the fate of the battle.
He Void-Stepped down, materializing just beyond the first swing of purple fire. The Avatar roared, a sound that shook the very foundations of reality.
The force of its energy sent a shockwave tearing across the balcony. Lucifer pivoted midair, the Carnage Core flaring violently, slicing through the trailing remnants of the divine fist.
True Damage cut through the god’s energy like a scalpel through silk.
The god staggered but did not fall. Its body shimmered, limbs reforming almost instantly. The intensity of its aura pressed down on Lucifer’s mind, threatening to fracture his consciousness.
Lucifer ignored it, he was focused and calculated. His eyes swept the battlefield, the floating shards, the suspended fire, the jagged obsidian all elements became variables in his calculations.
The god had power, speed, and regeneration beyond mortal comprehension. But Lucifer had the Carnage Core, Void mastery, and precise timing.
The Avatar lashed out again. Its fist of solid purple fire aimed for Lucifer’s chest, then its other hand extended to summon a crushing wave of necrotic light from the halo.
Lucifer Void-Stepped twice in succession, phasing through the first strike, dodging the second, and slashing upward. True Damage flared, severing the god’s left forearm. The limb disintegrated into harmless mist.
The god screamed, a sound of pure, static agony. It swirled its remaining energy into a counterstrike. Massive waves of light erupted from its core, crashing like a tidal wave across the balcony.
Lucifer leaped into the air, performing a series of precise Void-Steps, each one a blink of location, slicing and dodging. Every cut left golden fissures across the Avatar’s body.
Then came the gravity crush. Lucifer focused, summoning the Void Arcanist core’s full force. A black singularity formed above the god, pressing downward with the weight of a collapsing star.
The Avatar’s knees buckled under the intense gravitational compression. The floor cracked, forming a small crater beneath its feet.
Yet the god strained against it, its divine essence twisting and contorting, refusing to be confined.
The halo expanded. Flames of purple and gold coiled like serpents. The surrounding air became unbearable.
Even Lucifer’s Warlord armor strained against the heat. He could feel the carnage pulse through him, the resonance of his power colliding with the Avatar’s essence.
Elara and Sarah lay broken at the edges of the battlefield, utterly incapacitated. The Valkyrie’s golden wings twitched feebly, but she could not rise.
Her body pinned beneath floating debris. And yet, Lucifer stood. Alone.
The Avatar lunged upward, attempting to crush him with a sudden surge of explosive energy. Lucifer Void-Stepped above the strike, slashing downward with the Carnage Core.
The blade cut through the divine body, severing another limb, slicing lines of glowing energy across the god’s chest.
The Avatar staggered, shaking, but regeneration began instantly. Its scream pierced the void, raw and tortured, reverberating in Lucifer’s mind.
Time slowed. Lucifer activated Zephyr’s Grace Emblem, freezing the battlefield again. Every shard, every ember, every wisp of suspended ash hovered in midair.
He studied the halo, now a pulsing sphere of concentrated necrotic fire. One mistake, and the explosion could annihilate him.
He Void-Stepped to the perfect position, directly above the core of the halo. The Carnage Core flared violently, the ruby light merging with his Void energy into a single, razor-sharp point.
Every ounce of his power, every skill he had honed, converged in his hand.
Lucifer’s body was tense, coiled like a spring. The Avatar’s faceless head tilted slightly, sensing the imminent strike. Its aura roared, a final attempt to intimidate, to resist.
"I am the end of your law," Lucifer whispered.
He dropped. The longsword plunged downward, Void and Carnage energy slicing reality itself.
There was no sound, only the tearing of existence. The blade cut through the halo, severing the god’s core with precise, unyielding force.
The Avatar froze mid-scream. Its limbs, once fused with impossible light, shattered into millions of fragments, hanging for a heartbeat.
Then the shards dissolved into golden dust, raining softly across the balcony like falling stars. The necrotic fire dissipated, leaving only warmth and calm.
Lucifer landed heavily on the floor, boots hitting cracked stone. His sword hummed with residual energy.
Time returned to normal. The battlefield trembled from the aftermath of divine annihilation..

Lucifer closed his eyes. The title was not merely a label, it was a law, fused with his very existence. His soul drank the ambient divine energy, flooding him with clarity and strength beyond mortal limits.
Elara slowly stirred. The Valkyrie’s golden wings twitched weakly, her chest heaving as she drew breath, coated in golden dust.
Sarah’s pale lips quivered as she rose, scepter lowered, but her eyes glimmered with awe. They had survived barely but it was Lucifer who had rewritten reality itself.
Far beyond the Scourgelands, the world felt the void left by Zerathis’s death. Ley lines shivered, magical currents tore violently across continents, and kings, generals, and archmages alike felt an inexplicable shadow settle over their hearts.
The balance of power had broken irreparably.
Lucifer walked toward the Sovereign’s Casket, now safely in his Dimensional Vault. The golden dust swirled around him, but no taint of Zerathis remained.
Every step he took radiated quiet authority. He reached the edge of the balcony, looking down at the army gathered below, the Dragoons, mercenaries, and Arch-Seraphs all frozen, staring at the sky as the dust fell like divine rain.
"Let the mages tremble," he said calmly, arms crossed over his dark breastplate.
"They have three days to panic before I march my army back to the capital. Then, they will learn what fear truly is."
