I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball-Chapter 369: Important Meeting
Chapter 369 - Important Meeting
'Disrupting the system of the Great Shinobi Countries, huh? This organization is starting to become interesting,' Hiruko said with a smirk upon hearing Pain's words.
Now, he had gotten used to the two Kekkei Genkai he had absorbed, so he was significantly stronger. Although he was ranked at the bottom within the Akatsuki, it wouldn't be so easy for others to deal with him now.
His goal was to gather five Kekkei Genkai and rule the world, so helping Akatsuki stir up chaos was essentially helping himself.
Sasori remained calm, as if what Pain just said was a lunch menu instead of throwing the world into chaos. His face showed no change.
For Sasori, anything was fine as long as it didn't disturb his research on the eternal art.
His idea had begun to take shape; once he mastered Puppet Technique, he planned to transform himself into a human puppet and lived forever.
Sasori looked forward to the day he became a human puppet, achieving immortality and perfecting his eternal art.
'Gather a large amount of money!' Kakuzu ignored most of Pain's words and focused only on what interested him the most.
If the goal was to gather a large amount of money, then hunting down Shinobi with bounty on their head should be the best course of action, especially since Kakuzu was Akatsuki's treasurer.
Kakuzu couldn't help but smile when he thought about the money that would go into Akatsuki through his hands.
This plan was good; he liked it.
'Finally, we can start. I can't wait,' Zetsu's face was unusually serious as they could officially make their move.
'This is a dangerous organization. I need to find an opportunity to leave this organization,' Raiga Kurosuki thought to himself.
It wasn't that he was afraid, but he felt that the atmosphere of the organization wasn't what he desired.
"If I manage to leave, I may as well create my own organization."
Finding a place that suited his taste was too difficult. It might be better to create the place he wanted instead.
'Quite bold, but this should lead to more battles, right?' Musashi was excited in the opportunity to hone his strength.
He was in this situation due to his lack of strength. If he had the power to split the clouds and divide the ground like his father, he wouldn't have to take such a roundabout way; he could've confronted Pain directly and questioned his connection with the masked man.
So, his top priority was still to build up strength.
"From now on, you will operate in fixed two-man cells," Pain announced.
"Musashi and Juzo Biwa, you will be the first pair! Hiruko and Sasori, you'll be the second pair! Kakuzu and Raiga Kurosuki, you will be the third pair....."
.....
Nagasawa spent a week revising his plan to reform of the Academy.
Despite having the experience from his previous life, he had to consider various issues as this was a completely different world, so he ended up consuming too much time.
Of course, Nagasawa didn't spend the entire week only working on the plan; he still did his regular training and duties.
With the plan sorted out, Nagasawa called two Anbu members to inform the Third Hokage and the council members, while he personally informed Minato.
As all the high-brass' offices were in Hokage Building, gathering them for a meeting was convenient. Soon, everyone was assembled in the meeting room.
Nagasawa distributed printed copies of his plan to every meeting participant.
"As you all know, I have something important to discuss. I believe our Academy is outdated and needs innovation," Nagasawa stood up and said.
"Outdated? I think that's not quite appropriate, Nagasawa. Our Academy is a role model for other villages, you know." one of the advisors, Koharu Utatane said with a frown.
Nagasawa didn't immediately refute. Instead, he smiled and said, "Advisor, you might want to take a look at the detailed plan I've prepared for the Academy's reform."
Koharu turned to Hiruzen Sarutobi and Minato, only to find that they were already reading the paper Nagasawa prepared, so she had no choice but to read it as well.
The large meeting room fell silent except for the sound of papers being flipped.
Nagasawa patiently waited for everyone to finish. When they were done, the Third Hokage said, "Nagasawa, you've worked hard on this. The information is quite detailed. It seems you've been working on this for a while."
Nagasawa's plan wasn't just a reform; it was essentially a new policy for the entire Academy.
From elementary school all the way to high school, the details for each curriculum were incredibly thorough. He even planned to create a new department, the Department of Education.
The Third Hokage felt like it took at least several years for Nagasawa to come up with something like this.
Nagasawa nodded and said, "Yes, it did take some time."
Indeed, a week was not short.
"Nagasawa-san, have you ever thought about how much effort it would take to go through this plan? If we follow your plan, only Jonin or maybe senior Chuunin are qualified to be high school teachers. Besides, is it really necessary to establish an entirely new department just for an Academy? After all, Konoha only has one Academy." Koharu said with a frown as she looked at Nagasawa.
She wasn't merely picking on Nagasawa; she genuinely felt that there was a big problem with this plan.
Emphasizing Shinobi's education was good and all, but was it really necessary to go through that much effort?
Konoha was just a village with a population of only 300,000; it's not a country, so there was no need to make the school system so complex.
"This plan seems flawed in my opinion. I estimate it will take at least ten years to complete the entire process, and the children will spend too much time in the Academy. At this rate, Konoha might have less Shinobi compared to the other four Great Shinobi Countries," Homura Mitokado suddenly chimed in.
"Furthermore, if we taught the students more Ninjutsu during middle school and high school, Konoha's Ninjutsu may be more susceptible to being stolen by the Shinobi from other villages. To sum it up, I think it's unnecessary to make Academy so complicated, considering Konoha is just a village."
"Lord Third, Minato, do you guys have any question, too?" Nagasawa nodded and looked towards Hiruzen Sarutobi and Minato.
"Not at the moment," replied the Third Hokage.
"I'm in the same boat as the Third Hokage. No question for now. Go ahead and address the advisors' questions first, Nagasawa." Minato said with a smile.
Nagasawa smiled back and said, "Alright, let me address the advisors' questions first."
Nagasawa looked at the two advisors and noticed they were a bit uneasy, but they quickly regained their composure.
This was a meeting, and Nagasawa obviously wouldn't resort to violence just because he was strong, right?
