I Possess the SSS Skill: Future Sight-Chapter 64: The Harvest
— Kyle Valter’s POV —
She didn’t open a spacetime rift, nor did she use fire.
She poured the last of her will into "focused gravity."
But she didn’t direct it at his entire body.
She directed the gravity only... to his knees.
KRAAAAAAAAAAAACK!
The sound of the knee joints shattering was so loud and grotesque it induced nausea.
A crushing force equivalent to twenty tons descended exclusively on the commander’s knee joints!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
The bones of his thighs and shins pierced through his skin and armor, jutting out as white, bloodied shards.
The commander collapsed violently onto his shattered knees directly in front of Valisera, his Eitra blade flying from his hand to slam against the wall.
The inertia of his fall forced him forward until his terrified, pain-distorted face was level with Valisera’s boots.
The battle was over.
A heavy, viscous silence—thick with the stench of death, excrement, and blood—descended upon the station.
Blood covered the water, turning it into a crimson swamp.
The corpses of eleven elite FBI agents were scattered like chunks of meat in a slaughterhouse.
Alpha Squad stood there, panting.
They were covered in blood and entrails.
They had officially transformed from protectors of the law into professional killers—outlaws beyond all laws.
Valisera took a single step forward and pressed the heel of her boot firmly onto the shoulder of the kneeling commander, pinning him against the wet concrete floor.
He groaned in broken gasps, his tears mixing with the blood pouring from his crushed knees.
"You... you’re Commander ’Gray,’ aren’t you?" Valisera said coldly, looking down at him.
"You were one of Alexander Vance’s most loyal."
"K-... kill me, you bitch..." Gray spat blood onto her boot.
"Command... will wipe you out... the Voliders... will drink your blood..."
Valisera ignored his insult.
She slowly turned her head and looked toward the dark corner where Zack, Aiden, and I were hiding.
"Kyle," Valisera called sharply, her voice echoing through the station. "Come here."
I froze in place.
Eva and Damian looked at me in confusion.
Why was she calling the weak recruit?
I stood slowly, feigning trembling, and walked carefully—avoiding blood and corpses—until I stood beside Valisera and before the broken commander.
"M-... my lady?" I whispered in a fearful voice.
Valisera looked at me for a long, deep moment.
She knew who I was. And she knew what I wanted.
"You previously asked me to let you finish Thorn—to harvest his memories, and I ruined his mind," Valisera said coldly, stunning the entire squad.
Eva’s mouth fell open in shock. Harvest his memories?! This recruit?!
"I’ll compensate you now, Kyle," Valisera continued, nodding toward Commander Gray, who was staring at me in terror and confusion.
"His brain is intact. I didn’t burn it. Kill him. And pull everything in his head about Alexander’s plan... and Saint Ilarios Hospital."
This was the moment.
The moment the mask fell before Alpha Squad entirely.
I could no longer play the role of the weak boy. Nor did I need to.
Valisera was pushing me onto the stage—to show them the monster she had been hiding.
I took a deep breath.
My back straightened. My shoulders relaxed.
The artificial tension in my expression vanished completely, replaced by a dead coldness—and a darkness that did not belong to a normal human.
Eva instinctively stepped back as she watched the terrifying shift in my body language.
Damian tightened his grip.
I pulled the broken tactical knife from beneath my coat and stepped toward Commander Gray.
"You... who are you?!" Gray screamed in terror as he saw my crimson eyes burning with a dark, hungry glow.
"Me?" I bent down slowly, bringing my mouth close to his ear, and whispered in a hoarse, sick voice:
"I am the sin you created in the Dawn Hope Orphanage. I am the Black Joker."
I didn’t wait for his shock.
I raised the knife—and with a swift, precise, savage motion... drove the blade directly up from beneath his jaw, forcing it upward to pierce the base of his skull and lodge into his brain.
Gray’s body convulsed violently for a single second... then went still.
Dead.
The moment the blade touched his brain, I unleashed the skill [Skinbound Harvest].
Black Eitra surged from my hand like a dark electric current, piercing the dead man’s skull.
"AAAGH!"
A muffled groan escaped me.
Pulling memories was nothing like reading a book.
It was like swallowing a torrent of burning shattered glass.
Violent, rapid, nightmarish flashes slammed into my mind like hammers.
I saw through his eyes.
I saw Alexander Vance’s office. I saw Alexander shaking hands with a man wearing a blank white mask—one of the Voliders’ intermediaries!
I heard Alexander say:
"Kill Alpha Squad tonight. Tuesday, the Harvest begins. Saint Ilarios is preparing to transfer thirty thousand patients to the lower vaults for simultaneous integration."
The vision shifted.
I saw Saint Ilarios Hospital—but not the white facade.
I saw the underground vaults.
I saw... a slaughterhouse the size of a city.
Hundreds of thousands of glass tubes.
Rivers of blood and pus being pumped into the veins of thousands of crucified humans.
And in the center of that hell... a man in white priestly robes, radiating a false divine light, smiling as he watched children being torn apart.
"The Harvest... will be complete..." Saint Ilarios said in Gray’s terrified memories. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
"NOOOOO!"
I screamed violently, yanking the knife out of Gray’s skull and stumbling backward, collapsing onto my knees in the blood-soaked water.
I was gasping wildly, hot tears and black blood streaming from my nose and eyes.
The horror I had seen in his memories was overwhelming—soul-shattering.
Alpha Squad stood frozen in place, staring at me—and at my open declaration that I was the Black Joker.
Eva aimed her sniper rifle at me, her hands shaking uncontrollably, her eyes filled with tears of shock and absolute rage.
"You... you... the Joker?! You’re the one who tore my insides apart?! You bastard... I’ll kill you!"
She was about to pull the trigger—
"Lower your weapon, Eva!" Valisera roared, her voice instantly breaking Eva’s will.
Valisera turned toward me.
Her crimson eyes expected the worst.
"What did you see, Kyle?" she asked with absolute seriousness.
I raised my head with difficulty. My face was smeared with Gray’s blood and my tears.
"Time..." I gasped, clutching my head as it felt like it was about to split apart.
"We don’t have time... Alexander has completely sold us out. The assassination wasn’t just to settle scores... it was to delay us!"
I looked at their stunned faces.
"The hospital isn’t preparing for a normal experiment. In just 24 hours... the ’Mass Harvest’ will begin.
Saint Ilarios will merge thirty thousand patients and civilians in a single night—turning them into abominations or Eitra batteries for the Voliders! The vaults will be completely cleared afterward. The evidence will vanish forever. Tens of thousands of people will be erased as if they never existed."
The silence that fell over the sewers was heavier than death itself.
Thirty thousand humans.
Thirty thousand souls to be crushed in a single night.
"If we don’t storm the hospital today or tomorrow..." I whispered, my crimson eyes burning with mad, bloody despair,
"...then we will have lost everything. And Elysium will drown in the blood of the innocent."
We looked at each other.
An outcast squad, a serial killer, and a mad hacker.
Only six people... standing before the gates of true hell—with nothing left but death as an option.
