Chapter 83 - The Gathering of the Demon Lords

After a while, the battle outside Tempest began to slow, the last of the angels and insectars falling one by one, leaving the once-calm skies stained with chaos. The landscape, once pristine and peaceful, was now a war-torn battlefield, the earth scorched, and the heavens trembling. The air smelled of iron and fire, but the people of Tempest remained safe within the barrier, watching the battle from afar as though it were a cinematic spectacle.

In the aftermath, I stood with Velzard and Luminous, overlooking the field of destruction, my eyes sharp, yet calm with amused satisfaction. My Primordials—Testarossa, Ultima, and Carrera—stood behind me, their elegant forms splattered with angelic blood, their crimson eyes glowing with sadistic satisfaction.

I extended my Conqueror Sovereign slightly, ensuring that no remnants of the insectar energy or divine residue from the angels lingered, wiping away their traces from existence itself. The skies slowly cleared, but the ominous feeling in the air remained—an unshakable sense that something greater was coming.

I narrowed my eyes and with a mere thought, sent a telepathic message to Guy Crimson in the Ice Continent.

"Guy, summon all the Demon Lords to Tempest. This isn't over yet."

Guy, who had just finished slicing apart the last angel in his domain, wiped the blood from his face with a wicked smirk.

"Heh, you're not playing around, huh, Yuuya?" he muttered to himself, his voice laced with dark amusement.

Without hesitation, he activated his summoning ability, sending out summons to every Demon Lord, calling them to Tempest.

An hour later, the Great Hall of Tempest was packed with unfathomable power. One by one, the Demon Lords arrived, their intimidating auras filling the chamber.

Guy Crimson entered first, his crimson eyes gleaming with fiery mischief, accompanied by his two deadly maids, Rain and Misery, their eyes sharp and vigilant, their newly unlocked power radiating subtly.

Behind them, Leon Cromwell, the Radiant Executioner, strolled in with his golden hair shimmering under the hall's light, his piercing eyes cold and calculating, a man always prepared for battle.

Next came Milim Nava, the Destruction Empress, flying through the hall's entrance with her childlike grin, but her glowing red eyes revealed her excitement for the war ahead. She practically skipped into the hall, cracking her knuckles.

Draguel, the Eternal Watcher, entered with heavy footsteps, his towering form radiating a menacing chill. His glacier-blue eyes scanned the room warily.

Ramiris, the Fairy Queen, flitted in, her wings trembling slightly as she surveyed the gathering, a mix of nervousness and resolve in her eyes.

Dino, the Fallen Angel, entered last, walking with his usual slouched posture and a fake yawn, but there was a new glimmer of seriousness in his eyes—a man who no longer wore the mask of a lazy fool.

At the head of the table sat Rimuru, his azure eyes sharp and commanding, his new True Dragon aura pulsating subtly around him, although he did his best to suppress it. His generals—Benimaru, Souei, Hakuro, Shion, Shuna, and Geld—stood at his side, their expressions grave and ready for battle.

I stood at the center of the hall, my arms crossed over my chest, watching as they all took their places.

At my side were my two lovers—Velzard and Luminous—each radiating elegant dominance.

The room fell into a tense silence, the weight of the moment hanging over the gathering. Draguel, his massive arms crossed, was the first to speak, his deep voice carrying across the chamber.

"Alright, Yuuya, you've gathered us here. What's this about? Isn't this Tempest's problem? Why are you dragging us into it?"

His icy gaze pierced into me, clearly annoyed.

I let out a cold chuckle, my eyes narrowing slightly with malicious amusement.

"Oh, Draguel..." I walked toward him slowly, my steps deliberate and heavy.

"You're thinking too small."

I slowly turned to face the entire room, making sure each pair of eyes met mine.

"The battle you just witnessed? That was only the beginning."

I paused for a moment, letting the silence stretch, the tension thickening.

Then, with a cold and calculating voice, I revealed the truth.

"Feldway... plans to revive Veldanava."

The room fell deathly silent.

Guy Crimson's eyes narrowed dangerously, his usual smirk fading.

Leon's gaze sharpened, and Milim's smile faltered, her eyes widening slightly.

"Revive Veldanava?!" Draguel's voice boomed, his fists clenching tightly.

"That's impossible!"

I slowly shook my head, my eyes cold and steady.

"No... it's not."

I let my Conqueror Sovereign's pressure rise slightly, enough to make the entire hall shudder.

"He plans to take the Dragon Factors from all of the True Dragons, including Velzard, Veldora, and Velgrynd... and with them, he intends to resurrect Veldanava."

A ripple of shock and disbelief ran through the room.

Milim's fists clenched involuntarily, and Veldora's eyes hardened, his playful demeanor fading.

Guy Crimson's expression darkened, and his voice came out low and dangerous.

"That fool..." he muttered darkly.

I took a calm step forward, my voice cold.

"And that's not all."

I let my gaze lock onto Guy Crimson, speaking with grim finality.

"Rudra... is no longer Rudra. The one leading the Eastern Empire is Michael, his ultimate skill took full control. Rudra is gone, and Michael is working with Feldway."

Guy's fists tightened, his eyes flashing with rage.

"What?!" he growled.

Draguel slammed his hand down, the table cracking slightly under his force.

"That bastard...!" he hissed.

I slowly turned toward Dino, my eyes narrowing.

"And speaking of traitors..."

I extended my hand toward Dino, releasing a small pulse of light.

Before he could react, he was engulfed in blinding energy.

"What the hell?!" Dino yelped, his eyes wide.

The light swirled around him, pulsing violently, then faded away.

Dino, now stumbling slightly, gasped and glared at me.

"What did you do?!" he demanded.

I smirked faintly, my eyes glinting with cold satisfaction.

"I just removed Feldway's control over you."

Dino's eyes widened in shock, realizing what had just happened.

For a moment, he was speechless, then he slowly slumped back into his chair, breathing heavily.

"You knew...?" he muttered softly.

I leaned down slightly, my voice barely above a whisper, but sharp as a blade.

"Of course, I knew."

I then said," now Dino you are yourself, so are you with us or against us?"

Dino glanced around, meeting Guy's piercing glare and Milim's stern gaze.

Then, with a heavy sigh, he slouched forward and muttered:

"Tch... I'm with you. No way I'm fighting against you guys."

He shot me a weak smirk.

"Besides... if I did, you'd just wipe me out, right?"

I gave him a cold grin, patting his shoulder lightly.

"Good boy."

I turned toward the Demon Lords, my eyes piercing into their souls.

"The fate of the Cardinal World is in your hands. Protect it."

Guy smirked faintly, his eyes narrowing.

"And what about you, Yuuya?"

I grinned wickedly.

"I'll step in when the time is right... but for now... this is your fight."

Then, with Velzard and Luminous at my side, we vanished in a flash, leaving them to prepare for the battle of their lives.
