I Can Program My Body?-Chapter 582: Welcoming the Alliance
"Nash? Is your side ready?" Torr asked, receiving Nash’s call.
"Yes. I’ll set up the portable teleportation station shortly. Get ready on your end."
"Finally. I thought you’d already forgotten about us." Torr let out a sigh of relief.
The barrier protecting them was about to expire.
Any later, and a migration of this scale would turn dangerous.
"Is Tathia already with you?"
"She is, along with 92 other cosmic teams. Do you have enough room?" Torr teased.
"Of course. Even if the entire Xenus Alliance came, I’d have room for everyone."
A sun star void could support multiple sectors, let alone a few cosmic teams.
At the moment, it was still bleeding energy in all directions without control, wasting a great deal.
But once it was directed precisely where it was needed, supporting everyone would be no problem.
"Good. We’ll prepare on our end. Call me once the teleportation station is up." Torr said, ending the call.
The barrier protecting them could only last about two weeks.
If they didn’t hurry, they’d be swarmed by dark beasts before anyone could be transported.
Knowing the urgency, Nash wasted no time boarding the Void Pulse.
"Head to the edge of the sun star void." Nash ordered Atom.
Because they needed enough space to build momentum, getting too close wouldn’t work.
Hearing the order, Atom quickly set course.
---
A few hours later, they arrived at the far edge of the sun star void.
"I’m about to activate the Teleportation Station. Are you ready?" Nash asked, calling Torr.
"Yes. We’re ready."
"Good."
Ending the call, Nash had Atom transform the Void Pulse into battle suit mode to protect him.
Stepping out naked into the wild void area this far from their territory was no different from suicide.
With the Void Pulse’s protection, Nash didn’t have to worry about a sneak attack.
Soon, with the armor sealed around every part of his body, Nash took out the portable teleportation station.
Embedding it into the fabric of space, Nash began to operate the device, linking it to the corresponding station on Torr’s end.
Watching all the runic engravings and circuits light up, Nash fed the energy blocks he had prepared into the device to power it.
The blocks were charged with void energy worth hundreds of trillions of Chronos.
Fortunately, the Xenus Domain had given him ten sets of energy blocks, enough to run the station at maximum capacity for ten months.
Filled with energy, a dark vortex slowly formed, trembling as it expanded into the void.
From a size that could barely fit a single person, it grew to fit a battleship, then a planet, then a star, until finally reaching a scale that could swallow multiple planetary systems whole.
"This is massive..."
Despite the word "portable" in its name, the size it could expand to was anything but portable.
Standing at the very center, Nash couldn’t even see where it ended.
Before Nash could process it further, a fleet of battleships began pouring through the swirling portal.
Staying alert, the battle suit wrapped around him hummed, activating at any moment.
"Nash? Is this you?"
Catching the communication signal the Void Pulse emitted, Torr’s voice rang through.
"It’s me."
"Huh? Where are you? I can’t find you."
There was a communication signal, but nothing else to trace.
"Don’t bother looking. Which ship are you on? I’ll come to you." Nash said.
With the Void Pulse in battle suit mode, only a battleship with an advanced reconnaissance device could detect him.
It was just one of the measures Philo had built into the Void Pulse.
In terms of raw power, it was still comparable to a tier 8 battleship. But its defensive and auxiliary abilities already bordered on tier 9.
Its stealth capability could even fool a tier 10 Planetary Master.
Getting Torr’s coordinates, Nash flew toward his ship.
"It’s me. Open the dock."
"There you are! I didn’t expect you’d show up in a suit like that."
Opening the dock, Torr finally caught sight of Nash.
As he flew in, the helmet of the battle suit retracted.
"Looks like everyone made it." Nash greeted, scanning the faces around him.
Aside from Torr and Tathia, he recognized various leaders who had joined the Xenus Alliance.
"We could only bring a few battleships with us. Most of our forces are at the rear, escorting our people and territory."
"I see." Nash nodded.
"Is it alright for our scientists to begin scouting the area?" Torr asked.
Before their territory passed through the portal, they needed a detailed analysis of the space around them.
Which entry points were safe, how to navigate, what obstacles to avoid.
It was similar to how the Star Alliance’s scientists had mapped the terrain and space axis around the sun star void before the territory merged in.
"Go ahead. I’ll let my people know you’re coming." Nash agreed.
If he didn’t warn his subordinates, they might flag the scouts and open fire.
Getting the go-ahead, Torr, Tathia, and the other leaders sent their scouts ahead.
While they waited, they turned to Nash with questions about his plan.
"We plan to go dark for a decade and consolidate our foundation."
"Not a bad idea."
Unlike his own subordinates, everyone here agreed with Nash’s plan without hesitation.
Having been dropped into the fiercest part of the wild void area, they had clashed with more cosmic teams than they could count.
If they hadn’t gathered together quickly enough, they might have suffered catastrophic casualties by now.
Fortunately, they had been well-prepared and moved quickly.
In truth, Nash had been extraordinarily lucky.
Beyond landing near a sun star void, there hadn’t been many cosmic teams in the surrounding area.
"A decade should be enough for us to reach the peak of Tier 6, maybe even break into Tier 7!" Tathia nodded in satisfaction.
"Not only that, most of our shelters should be able to advance to level 7 as well, giving us a massive boost in overall strength." Torr added.
"The only problem now is how we stay hidden from everyone..." Nash muttered, eyes sweeping across the room.
