I Can Only Cultivate In A Game-Chapter 402: You’ve Made A Mistake
The creature beneath Victor suddenly shifted violently.
Its enormous chest-mouth split open.
Victor’s eyes widened.
"Oh, hell—"
The creature flipped him upward—
Then dropped him directly above its open maw.
Victor plummeted toward the abyssal mouth.
Without hesitation, he activated Shadow Blink.
VANISH.
He reappeared instantly atop Gojo’s back.
Gojo was already airborne, flapping violently as he ascended with Eirene seated behind Victor.
"Gojo—fly!"
Gojo screeched and surged upward but the creatures reacted instantly.
Massive arms swung upward.
Fwwhiii~
Each arm moved faster than something of that size had any right to.
The sky darkened beneath their massive limbs.
WHOOM!
A colossal hand nearly crushed them midair.
Gojo twisted violently, evading by inches.
Another arm swung...
And another...
And another.
Hundreds of arms reached skyward like living towers.
Victor gritted his teeth.
"Faster!"
Gojo flapped harder with ice energy bursting from his wings, evading each and every one of them, slipping beneath the tiny gaps.
But suddenly—
One of the creatures opened its massive chest-mouth and inhaled.
A massive suction force exploded outward.
The ocean water rose...
Clouds bent inward...
Even Gojo’s massive body slowed midair.
Victor felt the pull.
They were being dragged toward the creature’s mouth.
"Gojo—fight it!"
Gojo roared and flapped harder as ice energy erupted from his wings.
They inched upward slowly, barely moving.
Victor clenched his fists.
Almost—
Almost free—
Then—
BOOOOM!
A colossal hand slammed into them from the side.
Victor’s vision exploded into white while Gojo screehee in pain as they were swatted from the sky like insects.
Victor, Eirene, and Gojo crashed violently into the shallow waters below.
The impact was catastrophic.
Water exploded upward in massive geysers.
Victor’s body ricocheted across the surface like a stone skipping across a pond.
Before he could stabilize, a massive hand grabbed him mid-bounce.
He was lifted upward as the creature’s single eye stared at him.
Its chest-mouth opened.
Victor prepared to Shadow Blink but suddenly, Green glowing runes appeared around its fingers.
Binding magic froze not only Victor’s body but also his thoughts. He couldn’t even think or circulate his qi...
He halted in every possible way...
The creature raised him higher, preparing to swallow him whole when a streak of darkness tore across the sky.
Eirene appeared midair with a cold and expressionless look.
She extended her hand and a beam of corrupted darkness erupted outward.
It sliced clean through the creature’s arm.
Victor felt the grip loosen instantly and the moment he fell, his thoughts and movement became unbound.
The creature roared as green blood poured from the severed limb.
<[ Wind Glide Activated ]>
Victor landed midair while unsheathing his legacy sword and slashed.
"Shadow Crescent Strike!"
The slash erupted outward like a crescent moon tearing reality itself.
It followed Eirene’s wound perfectly and the creature’s entire arm was severed.
It crashed into the water below with a cataclysmic impact but before Victor could recover—
Another massive hand grabbed Eirene.
Victor’s eyes widened.
"Eirene!"
The creature lifted her high and then slammed her down.
She struck the shallow seabed with devastating force causing Water to explode outward in a massive cyclone.
Victor moved to assist but ten more of these collosal creatures surrounded him instantly.
Massive arms descended from all sides.
Gojo fought nearby, unleashing a massive pillar of frost.
The ice beam pierced straight through one creature’s limb, severing it completely.
But Gojo was tiny compared to them.
He was nothing more than an insect before their colossal forms.
Victor dodged using shadow blink multiple times but there were too many.
One arm struck him.
Then another.
Then another.
Victor was slammed into the shallow seabed as massive hands piled atop him, pinning him and crushing him underneath.
The pressure was astronomical.
Victor groaned as water threatened to seep into his lungs...
His bones creaked and his muscles strained as he pushed upward but they pressed harder.
More arms descended...
More weight...
More crushing force...
Victor’s breathing slowed as his qi circulation faltered.
He was being buried beneath living mountains.
Victor’s fingers twitched...
His eyes narrowed as Void markings began to faintly appear beneath his skin.
He let out a low groan.
"...You’ve made a mistake."
His Void Emperor Bloodline began to awaken.
Beneath the crushing weight of countless colossal hands, buried under layers of titanic flesh and ancient magic, Victor’s eyes snapped open.
Arrow-like markings erupted across his face, etchimg into his skin like a divine script written in void itself. They tinged with a glowing abyssal light that seemed to swallow illumination rather than emit it.
The moment the Void Emperor Bloodline awakened, Victor activated his domain.
<[ Void Emperor Domain Activated ]>
The water around him stilled and the crushing hands froze mid-motion.
The titans were halted as if time itself had been shackled but not all of them.
Victor’s domain did not stretch infinitely.
But everything pinning him beneath the shallow seabed—every arm, every massive limb pressing him into the depths—was caught within the Void Emperor Domain.
They were all frozen in place, completely subjugated.
Victor inhaled slowly as even the water stopped flowing.
Bubbles hung motionless in place.
Silt suspended in the water like stars trapped in glass.
"This... is enough."
With a single flex of his body, Victor pushed upward.
The frozen hands shattered away from him as if reality itself no longer acknowledged their grip. Victor leapt upward, bursting free from the seabed in a violent eruption of water.
He rocketed into the air.
Water cascaded from his body in slow motion as he rose above the surface with his form silhouetted against the sky.
His legacy sword slid into his grasp with and black flames ignited along its length while the edges of the blade became coated in a shimmering silver radiance, sharp enough to split space.
Victor raised the sword overhead as his eyes burned with silver light.
The world trembled.
A cold, emotionless voice echoed... not spoken aloud, but imposed upon reality itself.
<[ VOID SEVERING SLASH ACTIVATED ]>
Victor swung and the blade cut forward, splitting the world.
A colossal line tore through existence itself, extending forward with overwhelming intensity. On the left side of the slash, the world turned pitch black, devouring light, erasing and swallowing existence.
On the right side was pure blinding whiteness.
For a single, eternal instant, everything stopped.
Time ceased.
The titans froze mid-roar.
The water halted mid-collapse.
Even the wind dared not move.
And then—
Thooomnmmm~
The sound was not an explosion.
It was worse.
It was the sound of dimensions being severed.
The black side collapsed and the water beneath that half of the world dropped away, sinking violently into an abyss that had not existed moments before. The shallow seabed gave way, folding inward as if the laws of depth had been rewritten.
Titans caught on that side were erased.
Their massive forms were reduced to fragments, then dust, then nothing at all.
Over five of the colossal beings vanished entirely, reduced to absolute nonexistence.
Those caught at the center of the slash fared little better.
Their bodies were cut perfectly in half.
The portion on the black side disintegrated instantly while the portion on the white side vanished.
That portion was displaced sideways into unknown space, leaving behind empty air where ancient flesh had once been.
The remaining titans on the white side were forcibly shifted away, hurled aside like debris in a cosmic tide.
A massive corridor opened through the battlefield.
Water from all directions began to rush inward, crashing violently into the newly created abyss.
The sky shook and the sea trembled.
The surviving titans roared in rage and fear with their single eyes blazing as they finally began to comprehend what stood before them.
A being who could sever worlds.
<[ Critical Hit! ]>
The system notification echoed faintly in Victor’s mind.
But Victor did not celebrate... Yhe markings on his face flickered.
The silver glow in his eyes dimmed.
His grip tightened on his sword as exhaustion swept through him like a tidal wave.
His Void Emperor Bloodline was reaching its limit.
He had pushed it too long, cultivating within the domain, sustaining it across days, then unleashing a move that bordered on forbidden.
Victor exhaled sharply and deactivated it.
The markings faded and the oppressive aura emanating from him vanished.
Time resumed its natural flow.
Victor staggered midair for half a second, then moved.
"Eirene!"
He shot forward across the surface of the water.
Below, the water churned violently where Eirene had been slammed moments earlier. Before another titan could react, Victor dove down, grabbing her arm and hauling her upward with all his remaining strength.
She was bruised and drenched, but conscious.
Her corrupted aura flared instinctively as she clung to him.
"Master—!"
"No time."
Victor twisted midair.
"Gojo!"
The massive frost raptor shot upward through the water, wings bursting free in a spray of foam and shattered waves. Victor landed on Gojo’s back, pulling Eirene with him.
"Fly!"
Gojo roared.
Ice exploded outward from his wings as he launched skyward. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Behind them, the titans recovered.
Dozens of colossal forms turned in unison with their single eyes locking onto Victor.
