I Can Assimilate Everything-Chapter 659: Savagery II
Achilles pressed his weight and immensity into the Fundamental Depth Master, pulling authority from his Inner Dominion to extend his power beyond what his current Depth should allow.
The territories within him responded. The Blind Depths and Apatheia and the Realm of Assimilation and Chaos and everything he had consumed from the Absolute Mutated Corrupted Terror flooded outward through his grip, crushing the resistance of this being who served THE Prisoner. His spores spread deeper, penetrating foundations that had been built under Lamashtu’s guidance!
The Fundamental Depth Master’s thrashing grew weaker as Achilles’s dominion extended further into his existence.
Around them, THE entities watched this scene unfold with expressions that held fear and astonishment in equal measure. THE Slumbering Genesis’s verdant scales flickered with anxiety that made his massive form seem smaller than it was.
Others looked toward Achilles with recognition of what was happening dawning in their eyes. He and Rose...these were beings from their own Observable Existence who were attacking one of THE Prisoner’s forces openly!
"You shouldn’t be doing this...!"
One of them spoke with voice that trembled.
"The outsiders are too powerful. They will find out. They will punish all of us for what you are doing here!"
Another shook their head frantically!
"We don’t want to be a part of this. We just wish to do what we’re told and survive. Please, stop before you doom us all-"
Before they even finished their words, Rose looked at them coldly.
The murky obsidian sea that had risen all around became controlled by her hands, Chaos responding to her will with eagerness that bordered on devotion. Tendrils and rivers of obsidian authority surged outward from her form, moving with speed that none of them could hope to evade.
The Chaos flowed into the mouths and noses of the other entities present.
It spread through their existences with invasion that was absolute and undeniable. Their words died in their throats as her authority settled into their foundations, not destroying but silencing, not killing but controlling.
They became mute and said nothing right after, eyes wide with terror as they realized what she had done to them.
Rose looked at them with gaze that held no sympathy for their cowardice.
"If you are not going to contribute, then stay the fuck out of the way."
Her voice carried weight that pressed against their silenced existences.
"We do not ask for your help. We did not ask for your approval. Just sit there."
Her obsidian eyes blazed with Chaos that promised consequences for anyone who defied her.
"Understood?"
They could not answer. They could only nod with motions that held desperate agreement.
Rose turned back to watch her man work, her expression softening slightly as she observed him extracting everything useful from the creature who had made the mistake of calling her a dumb bitch.
Achilles looked at the Fundamental Depth Master as the creature finished twitching beneath his grip.
The being’s resistance had crumbled entirely. His foundations were now saturated with spores of Assimilation that responded to Achilles’s will, authority that had served THE Prisoner for eons now bent toward a new master.
In the next moment, the Fundamental Depth Master actually knelt down to pay his respects.
His obsidian garments and broken chains clinked against each other as his knees met the Void, head bowed in submission that came not from choice but from the dominion now woven through his existence. Whatever pride he had possessed before this encounter had been stripped away alongside his autonomy.
Achilles did not care much for the kneeling motion.
He only reached out to put his hand on the head of the being again, stellar obsidian fingers pressing against a skull that no longer resisted his touch. He sought to read the memories contained within this creature who had served THE Prisoner across countless Observable Existences.
What more could he know about Lamashtu? Where did THE Prisoner come from? What was the true extent of his power?
When he tried to read the memories of the Fundamental Depth Master, it felt like there was a terrifying power inherently blocking everything. Walls of authority that exceeded anything he had encountered surrounded the most valuable information, barriers constructed by someone whose Depth made even Absolutes seem insignificant.
He had to proceed slowly.
He moved through the creature’s consciousness like a passing thought, something the Fundamental Depth Master himself was thinking rather than an external force probing his memories. If he pushed too hard, if he triggered whatever defenses THE Prisoner had woven into his servants, he would alert Lamashtu to what was happening here.
So he thought simple thoughts.
Right now, he was thinking about the power of THE Prisoner.
And a memory flash appeared before his perception.
Lamashtu sat on his massive throne in those obsidian wrappings and clasps and chains, burning eyes gazing upon something beyond the memory’s frame. The information that crystallized inside Achilles’s mind carried weight!
The power of this being was on the cusp of grasping the Second Scale of Existence again.
Again.
That word echoed through his consciousness with implications that reshaped everything he understood about their enemy. Lamashtu used to be at the Second Scale of Existence. He had stood at heights that made Absolutes seem like insects!
And yet something had happened.
When Achilles began to think about this, about what could have possibly reduced someone from the Second Scale to their current state, everything became murky. The memories locked themselves away behind barriers that his subtle approach could not penetrate, defenses that would trigger if he pressed any harder.
He frowned and tried to think of something else.
He tried to think of where the Fundamental Depth Master was before they came here.
And shockingly, a scene formed in his mind with clarity that suggested this memory held less protection than others.
He saw an endless web of multicolored brilliance stretching across dimensions that defied conventional measurement. The weave emanated profound waves of the Civilization of Existence, threads of authority so complex and unfathomable that simply perceiving them made his consciousness ache. They twisted and intersected in patterns that held purpose beyond his current understanding, forming a prison unlike anything he had ever witnessed.
Thousands upon thousands of Fundamental Depth entities hung suspended within this web.
All of them seemed to be prisoners of some war, their obsidian garments and chains marking them. They floated motionless within the multicolored threads, existences bound so completely that even their consciousness seemed frozen.
And this Fundamental Depth Master whose name was Ban was simply one of them.
One prisoner among thousands.
But the web did not end there. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
In other directions, stretching toward horizons that existed in dimensions he could barely perceive, even hundreds of Absolutes were bound within the same multicolored weave. Their forms hung suspended just like the Fundamental Depth entities, authority that should have been overwhelming rendered helpless by threads that exceeded anything they could resist.
The scale of imprisonment was staggering.
Thousands of Fundamental Depths. Hundreds of Absolutes. And all of this, this was only what achilles could currently perceive! All of them captured and bound by a web that emanated the Civilization of Existence with purity that suggested its creator stood at heights beyond even THE Second Scale!
Achilles pulled back from the memory with mind racing.
What was that place?
And why would so many Fundamental Depth entities and Absolutes be imprisoned there?
