I Became the Villain's Trainer-Chapter 90
Chapter 90
After deciding on Terrun and Ysildus’ outfits, it was Alexa’s turn to get fitted for her suit. Alexa had never imagined she’d be wearing something like this, especially in a world where gender inequality was still rampant. The pants that used to feel familiar now felt strange.
“People adapt, after all,” Alexa muttered awkwardly, poking her head out.
“Here you go!”
The maids who helped her dress gently pushed her forward.
“Be brave, Lady Alexa! You’re cute and beautiful, after all.”
What does that even have to do with anything? Alexa shook her head and stepped outside. While Terrun and Ysildus seemed to handle it just fine, Alexa couldn’t understand why it was so difficult for her.
“Oh my! Alexa!”
Essellia shot up, looking as if she had fallen in love at first sight. Standing beside her, without anyone noticing, was Carlisle, who began to clap.
“I can feel the spirit of the founder who established Thersion in Alexa! Doesn’t it suit her perfectly?”
“Indeed, Your Excellency! There’s nothing that doesn’t suit our Alexa! She’s far more dashing than the wolf knights!”
That doesn’t seem right... Alexa lowered her head in embarrassment, unable to refute the exaggerated praise. The truth was, Carlisle and Visten both looked so stunning in suits that everyone would burst into applause just by seeing them. They looked like they had stepped out of a magazine photoshoot… or maybe like mobsters fresh from a gunfight. Compared to those wolves, Alexa felt like a chrysalis.
“Alexa, you look truly wonderful,” Ysildus said, kissing the back of her hand.
Not to be outdone, Terrun grabbed her other hand. He was growing up. It meant he had learned something. Smiling with his eyes like Ysildus, he spoke somewhat awkwardly.
“Sister.”
Ysildus clicked his tongue.
‘This sly little bear…’
While hiding his dissatisfaction, Ysildus forced a smile. Alexa blinked in surprise. Terrun, who rarely called her ‘sister’ and had always just used her name, suddenly had a change of heart. She ruffled the hair of the adorable wolf.
“Hm?”
“You really do look great, Sister.”
Wait, was he using formal speech now? Alexa tilted her head in confusion, then smiled brightly.
“Thanks, Terrun, you look great too!”
There was no way Ysildus would let such a warm moment pass unnoticed. Although he was younger and cuter, and the dress suited him better, Ysildus confidently spoke to Alexa.
“Sister, don’t I look pretty too? You picked this dress out for me.”
Internally, Alexa let out a groan. These wolves’ looks were crossing from charming to downright dangerous. Is this what they call devastating beauty? How could anyone live with such dangerously good looks? She nodded at the charming wolves.
“Yes, you both look amazing!”
“Alexa, I should look better! You’re my partner!”
But Terrun, who had never been good at such things, gave up first. He puffed out his cheeks and leaned toward Alexa.
That’s right. The winner of the rock-paper-scissors match was none other than Terrun. Essellia had told Ysildus to accept the outcome, and in the end, Ysildus had to give Alexa’s hand to Terrun.
Ysildus swallowed his icy anger. One day, he swore, he’d bury that pesky bear in the snow.
“Are you cheating on me right now?”
Ysildus grabbed Terrun by the nape and pulled him away from Alexa. Cheating? What nonsense! Ysildus tossed Terrun aside and took Alexa’s hand.
“Let’s practice dancing, Alexa.”
“Huh? Dance practice?”
Still in a daze, Alexa nodded at Ysildus’ words.
“Yeah, I think I’ve forgotten the steps. Since I’ll be dancing with you, I’d appreciate your help.”
“Oh… okay!”
After all, Alexa needed the practice as much as he did. Terrun gritted his teeth and followed behind them.
“I need to practice dancing too!”
“Why don’t you read a book instead!”
“You read a book, Ysildus!”
As the noisy children disappeared, Essellia beckoned to the Madam.
“You’ve done a wonderful job, Madam. Everything looks perfect on them. I’d like to order more suits for Alexa.”
“That’s a great idea. We may need to build another dressing room.”
Carlisle chimed in, “It seems like Alexa really likes her suit.”
“She does, doesn’t she? If I’d known, I would’ve gotten them for her sooner. Madam, could you prepare shirts, shoes, pants, suits, vests, and ties? I want her to have plenty of options.”
“Of course, Your Ladyship.”
And so, without Alexa knowing, a new dressing room was being prepared just for her.

After many eventful days, a rare silence fell over the Thersion Grand Fortress. All eyes were on Alexa’s fingertips.
Today was her first magic lesson. Her teacher, Brillia, an elf hybrid from the Magic Kingdom, had been brought to Thersion as a prize of war by the wolves after their last battle.
They were beings who breathed magic as naturally as air. Brillia, being far from human herself, had adjusted well to life in Thersion. And today, she was finally meeting the much-talked-about figure of those rampant rumors. Alexa’s eyes followed the movement of Brillia’s fingertips.
“This is how it’s done, my Lady. Imagine you’re circulating the energy within your body. Once you get the hand movements right, the flow of magic will come easier.”
“Like this, like this?”
Alexa mimicked Brillia’s movements with stiff motions.
“Ooh!”
“Wow!”
“A magical genius!”
The enthusiastic cheers from the spectators were an extra touch. Alexa tried her best to tune them out. She now understood that simply standing there would make people think she was courageous and bold. Even the knights, who should be busy, had gathered around to watch the scene unfold.
Brillia suggested that training outdoors, where one could feel the natural energy, would be best, and the knights happily offered up the training grounds. They even became the audience themselves. Every time Alexa, who looked as soft as downy feathers, waved her hands, they melted a little more.
“I need to have a daughter.”
“You?”
“A daughter like Lady Alexa would make coming home a joy.”
“You?”
“Why do you keep asking?”
“With that face of yours?”
Well, a small commotion broke out as a result of conversations like that, but it wasn’t too serious. In any case, the marriage rate among Thersion’s knights had been soaring, all thanks to Alexa. The festival’s influence seemed to extend to an increase in pregnant women within Thersion as well.
Carlisle watched Alexa, who was immersed in her training.

‘Hmm. So, training magic is best done outside. But the weather’s cold.’
Carlisle gestured toward Visten.
“Yes, Your Excellency?”
“How long would it take to repair the greenhouse?”
It had been abandoned for over a hundred years.
Essellia gave Carlisle a soft smile. The greenhouse had been where Carlisle and Esselia held their wedding ceremony. They had let it fall into disrepair over the years, but given its sentimental value, it seemed fitting to give it to Alexa.
“A week should be enough.”
“Good.”
Unbeknownst to Alexa, she had just acquired a greenhouse. Clueless to all of this, she was solely focused on her training.
“And like this, like this.”
“Ah! I think I’m starting to get it!”
Alexa nodded and followed Brillia’s movements.
“W-wow!!”
A small yellow light formed at her fingertips.
“Well done, Miss!”
“Alexa, you’re amazing!”
Ysildus and Terrun jumped to their feet, clapping. Anyone watching would have thought she’d accomplished some grand magical feat. But even so, Alexa felt a sense of achievement, and her spirits lifted.
“I want to do more. Please teach me more, Teacher.”
As Alexa pleaded cutely, Brillia gazed at her with a look full of affection. It hadn’t taken long for her to develop a fondness for Alexa. Watching her, one couldn’t help but fall in love. That was Alexa’s radiance – the most valuable magic she possessed.
“You have talent, my Lady.”
Alexa was sure this was just more of Brillia’s exaggeration. After all, she had grown up surrounded by people who treated her as some medical prodigy. She could spot this kind of flattery a mile away. Alexa shook her head.
“Thank you for the compliment, Teacher.”
“I mean it, my Lady. Your potential might surpass my expectations.”
Praise like that really was a delight to hear.
“What kind of magic would you like to learn, my Lady? You can do anything you set your mind to.”
“I want to learn healing magic, Teacher.”
Alexa smiled bashfully. Seeing this, Brillia muttered to herself without even realizing it.
“...Why, though...”
“Pardon?”
“Your very existence is already healing...”
“Excuse me?”
Alexa widened her eyes and waved her hands in denial. Oh dear, what is with everyone lately?
