I Became the Villainess, But My Beast Husbands Can Hear My Mind?!-Chapter 188: “I Forgive You”
Her voice became softer. "I know you must be very tired... so why don’t you rest for a while? And while you’re resting, I promise I will take good care of my Calen."
The moment Roxanna said that, the shadow monster trembled. It looked like it wanted to walk closer to her, but its legs suddenly dissolved as more of her blood soaked into the ground. The shadow monster let out a painful cry, like a child crying because they couldn’t reach someone they loved.
Without hesitation, Roxanna stepped forward again. She didn’t even care when the shadow monster began to wrap around her whole body. She simply closed her eyes and let her blood drip onto it.
"R-Roxanna..." the shadow monster suddenly called her name. Its voice was hoarse and unclear, as if many voices were speaking at once. "I-I’m s-sorry."
With that apology, it felt as if every broken piece of Calen was trying to say sorry to her.
At that moment, Roxanna understood that words like "You don’t have to apologize" were not what he needed to hear.
She slowly opened her eyes, looked up at the shadow in front of her, and whispered gently. "I forgive you."
She repeated it again, her voice sounding calm and warm. "I forgive you. So I hope you can also forgive yourself... for what happened to me, and for what happened to you."
The shadow monster didn’t answer again. But Roxanna could hear the wind moving softly around them. It felt as if the wind was slowly breaking the shadow apart and carrying it up into the sky.

The moment the notifications appeared, the world in front of Roxanna began to crack. The ground beneath her feet split open, and the walls of the maze started collapsing one after another.
Without thinking twice, Roxanna ran back toward Calen and Azul. She quickly grabbed them just before the ground swallowed them.
At the same time, Mr. Fenrir had already turned back into a giant wolf. He rushed toward Roxanna and spoke directly in her mind. "Climb on!"
As soon as he lowered his head, Roxanna jumped onto his back, right after storing the weapons in her inventory.
"If this world is collapsing, what about you, Mr. Fenrir?!" Roxanna shouted, her voice full of worry.
"You don’t need to worry about me!" Mr. Fenrir replied. "Even if the maze is destroyed, it doesn’t mean Calen’s whole mind will collapse."
Tring! Tring! Tring!
The bell rang faster and faster. From the distance, Roxanna finally saw the exit of the maze. The gray sky slowly turned bright blue, and sunlight poured down so brightly that it almost hurt her eyes.
"But Roxanna, after this, Calen probably won’t be the same," Mr. Fenrir said. "He will still be the Calen you know. But something will be different... because he has awakened me from a deep slumber."
A while ago, Mr. Fenrir had said that Calen possessed the blood of a mystical beast, which meant he might not be just an ordinary dog beastman.
"Can he become a Fenrir?" Roxanna asked. "Like you?" 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Mr. Fenrir let out a low laugh. "Even better."
After saying that, Mr. Fenrir leaped high toward the exit that was now right in front of them. Roxanna squinted as the sunlight pierced her eyes.
"See you later, my dear Roxanna," Mr. Fenrir said in a voice that was both low and gentle.

Roxanna gasped and suddenly sat up as her consciousness returned to the real world. Her breathing was uneven, and her forehead was covered with sweat.
"Roxanna!" Luan’s voice was the first thing she heard. "Aelin! She’s finally awake!"
Luan quickly stepped toward her, but Cyrus pushed him aside before he could get any closer. "I thought you wouldn’t make it." His voice trembled as he pulled her into a tight embrace. "Welcome back, Roxanna."
As Roxanna slowly calmed her breathing, she was finally able to see the people around her clearly. Aelin looked as if she had been holding her breath the entire time, and she immediately let out a relieved breath when she saw that Roxanna had returned.
Meanwhile, her three husbands also looked a little pale, probably because they thought she wouldn’t make it.
When Roxanna lowered her head, she noticed the blood on her hands. The dried marks made her pause for a moment because it meant that when she cut her hands inside Calen’s unconscious world, her real body had been injured as well.
No wonder all of them looked so worried and frightened.
She glanced at the clock on the system panel and realized that only two hours had passed in the real world, even though it had felt like forever inside Calen’s mind.
"I’m fine." Roxanna gently returned Cyrus’s embrace and patted his back a few times to calm him. "I’m sorry for making you worry."
She was about to say more, but then she realized that there was something else she needed to check.
"Calen! Azul! How about them?" Roxanna quickly pulled away from the hug and turned her head to look for them.
Unlike her, they were still unconscious. For a moment, Roxanna felt her chest tighten because she was afraid they might not be able to return from that place.
But after a few minutes of waiting, they finally began to move.
Azul opened his eyes after frowning slightly, while Calen woke up with a gasp, as if he had just been drowning in a very deep river.
His hands reached upward blindly, and without thinking, Roxanna quickly grabbed them.
