I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s-Chapter 702 - 701: The Little Buns
Four years had passed, and Beisitian watched the three little buns playing happily in the yard with Zhuangzhuang, a gentle smile gracing her lips.
Now the three little buns had grown bright and beautiful, although the eldest, Luo Yirui, looked quite similar to his two sisters, the differences were still discernible. That little bundle was full of vigor and health, his eyes constantly darting around, curious about everything in his surroundings, brimming with an adventurous spirit.
The second eldest, Luo Yixuan, and the youngest, Luo Yiqian, were identical to the extent that even Gao Ma, who watched them grow up, found it difficult to distinguish them. Their big, black eyes gazed innocently at people, while their long lashes curled up slightly like small brushes, making them irresistibly cute with just a blink. Their small, rosy cheeks often tempted others to reach out and pinch them.
The three children had an excellent relationship, especially Luo Yixuan and Luo Yiqian, who were so synchronized in their actions that they never needed to deliberate.
If they felt hungry, it happened simultaneously; if they needed the bathroom, it was together; even when getting sick, it happened at the same time, their synchronization was astonishing.
However, standing between them had to be Luo Yirui, as their parents instructed that the two of them were not allowed to hold hands but could only hold their brother’s hand.
The two little buns didn’t understand why, and after being caught secretly holding hands once and receiving a stern punishment, they dared not do it again.
What puzzled them was why their mother cried while punishing them, despite being sad, why did she still hit them? Did they do something wrong?
The little buns were full of curiosity about the world, constantly asking why about everything; thus, their mother’s actions left a deep impression, possibly due to the lack of answers, engraving itself into their small hearts.
"Zhuangzhuang!"
Luo Yirui called out with a soft, milky voice, and the running Zhuangzhuang immediately turned back, squatting in front of Luo Yirui, taller than him.
Luo Yirui clung around Zhuangzhuang’s neck, struggling to climb on top. Once Luo Yirui was settled, Zhuangzhuang began walking, steadily but without running.
At the arched gate, a thirteen or fourteen-year-old boy leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, shaking his head with a smile, "Xuegao, you’re bullying Zhuangzhuang again."
Upon hearing the voice, Luo Yirui immediately turned around, beaming at the sight of the boy, reached out his arms, "Uncle, hug!"
The boy’s face had already burst into a smile upon hearing the little one’s words, and he quickly walked over to Luo Yirui, picking him up from Zhuangzhuang.
"Ping’an, no tutoring classes today?" Beisitian asked with a smile.
This boy was Luo Xuping, who had bright eyes like stars, exuding charm with every move; although not as handsome as Luo Xudong, he was undeniably a striking young man.
"Sis, Ping’an and I will play soccer later."
Before Luo Xuping could respond, another boy appeared from behind the arched gate, about the same height as Luo Xuping, slightly leaner but looking spirited.
The two young men standing together donned slightly oversized school uniforms yet still caught eyes.
"Go ahead, you can have dinner here, I’ll inform your mom and dad," Beisitian said with a smile.
Cheng Tianji grinned, "Alright, I love auntie’s cooking the most!"
Just as Luo Xuping picked up Luo Yirui and was about to speak, two little ones came running over, jumping up in front of him, stretching their arms for a hug.
Cheng Tianji, seeing this, couldn’t help but express envy, extending his arms to pick one up, "Come, Uncle Tianji will hug you!"
The one picked up was Luo Yixuan, who blinked her big eyes and softly called, "Uncle Tianji~"
"So sweet!"
The remaining Luo Yiqian looked at one and then the other, closed and opened her eyes again, her eyes filled with tears, her little mouth turned down with grievance, making for a sight that was both amusing and heart-wrenching.
Luo Xuping, seeing this, quickly reached out and scooped up Luo Yiqian, realizing that even a thirteen or fourteen-year-old boy couldn’t manage holding one in each hand.
As he wobbled, nearly losing balance, a strong arm took both little ones at once.
Luo Xudong held one in each arm, giving Luo Xuping a glance, saying, "Still need practice."
Luo Xuping pursed his lips in defiance, grumbled a bit, greeted Beisitian, and left with Cheng Tianji.
Luo Yixuan happily ran back to her mother, climbing onto her lap and called upward, "Daddy~"
Luo Xudong’s stern face softened like the thawing river in spring, his features gentler.
"Daddy~"
"Daddy~"
The other two joined in unison.
The courtyard filled with lively, crisp voices, bringing a smile to Beisitian’s face.
Luo Xudong, looking at his three adorable children and radiant wife, felt content deep within his eyes.
"Let’s go inside," Luo Xudong said, his lips curving slightly.
The family of five headed towards the house.
"Will you attend this conference again?" Luo Xudong asked.
Beisitian shook her head, "Not this time, I’ve already informed them that if anyone manages to unravel that case, they will let me know. Recently, I plan to visit these two places; there are rumors of two remarkable doctors here, maybe this time the hidden experts are real."
Luo Xudong remained indifferent, although he’d gathered reputed news from various places, yet many proved to be mere rumors.
Over the years, he and Beisitian visited many places, finding only one Mystic Doctor, unfortunately, this doctor lacked expertise, unfamiliar with this illness.
Beisitian never pinned her hopes on a single possibility, while she visited various places, Luo Xudong and the old master Wu Yuekai remained diligent in probing the origins of Bei Family, albeit with slower progress on this front.
As for Bei Mingjun from the Chulu School, following a couple of years of investigation and probing, he turned out not to be of their Bei Family lineage, their surname similarity being mere coincidence. However, he did provide a crucial piece of information regarding that case.
He informed Beisitian of hearing about the disease somewhere and gave her a rough area, despite Beisitian’s failed attempts visiting hidden experts in the past two years, she periodically went to those places hoping to hear more regarding this illness. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
Regrettably, the progress was painfully slow and because of these matters, Beisitian had not actively appeared in the industry in recent years, focusing all her thoughts on finding clues to cure her children.
For those who sought her fame, she refused whenever possible.
