"Competition?" Bailey Hansen asked, taking the juice handed to her. "Does our company have such a rule?"

Kate Palmer handed the other glass of juice to Vera Wave. "The thing is," she explained, "I initially decided to promote Vera to the manager’s position. However, some employees raised objections, so Vera proactively suggested the PK method."

"So that’s how it is!" Bailey Hansen’s admiration for her grew. "Do you think you can win?"

Just as she finished speaking, her phone vibrated in her pocket. She pulled it out, saw the name "Ace" on the screen, and immediately hung up. "Director Bailey. I don’t exactly know what her specific position is."

Kris Cooper’s voice on the other end of the line immediately tensed. "Is it a man or a woman? What do they look like?"

"Really?" Bailey Hansen was surprised that her prospective daughter-in-law had played a game she herself had planned. "What’s your opinion on it?"
