Chapter 254: Apologize

As soon as Rachael heard her mother’s voice, she turned around in excitement. But before she could say anything, one of the kids tsked and remarked,

"What is a cripple doing here?" And then his twin brother followed suit and added,

"Is she your nanny or something? She looks so poor."

As soon as Rachael heard this, her head turned to them in the motion of a robot and she glared at them, her eyes screaming terror.

"What did you just say?"

The kids got frightened.

"W-what? She’s a cripple, isn’t she?" The kid boldly repeated his words and before he knew it, a plate of hot sauce flew over to him, its entire content splattering all over his face and the plate broke on his head, causing him to bleed.

The kid screamed for help and the other kids got up, moving away in fear.

"What... What are you doing?" The other boy who made a statement got especially scared and he slapping retreated. "D-do you know who we are? Our parents will..."

Rachael picked up another plate of hot sauce and threw it at him. He screamed in pain, yelling how hot it was.

The others shut their mouths and her deadly eyes glared at them.

"Did you just say something about her? You said she was a cripple? Poor?" She asked. "Do you think you can threaten me with your parents? You’re all here because my daddy let you and your parents be here. Who do you think you are, calling my mother a poor cripple? A nanny!" She yelled and stomped her feet on the ground furiously.

The adults rushed over to them, wondering what was going on.

Alexa couldn’t move or say a single word. She didn’t know her daughter had anger issues. She didn’t know she was capable of hurting another, and even if it was for a reasonable reason, it wasn’t an excuse to act violent.

She wanted to stop her but she couldn’t even get the words out of her lips.

The mother of the boys came rushing and knelt in front of her boys that were groaning in pain and rolling on the floor. They looked horrible and pointed at Rachael that she started it.

"Oh gosh, is this how you behave? How can you do this to people who try to be friends with you?" She yelled at Rachael but even then, Rachael looked unhinged and glared at them with her fists clenched.

Then, she opened her mouth and let out a simple instruction.

"Apologize." She said,

"What? What are you saying now? How dare you say that after what you did to my sons. So insolent. I should be the one asking for an apology yet you’re the one asking for it? I don’t know how it’s done wherever you came from but if you want to be respected, you need to respect yourself first, you brat. If not, I’ll help Raymond Stein teach you a lesson."

Alexa snapped out of whatever she was stuck in and yelled at her.

"Watch your mouth." She said, glaring in the same manner her daughter was doing. "Though violence can never be considered a good act, you should know what happened before you start throwing your words recklessly?"

"Who’s this cripple maid? Don’t interfere when people above your class are speaking. So disgusting." The lady barked at Alexa and Rachael lost it.

She picked up an empty plate and approached the lady with a deadly aura around her.

"What do you think you’re doing? Do you think you can afford to mess with...?" Her words were cut off when Rachael raised the plate and smashed it on her face, stunning everyone who was watching them.

"Stupid. You’re so stupid." Rachael cussed at her. "Who did you call a maid?" She reached out her hand to pick up another plate but before she could raise it, Alexa held her hand and pulled her to herself in a hug.

"That’s enough." Alexa said. She was scared. This was the first time she was seeing her daughter do such a thing and her gaze was very terrifying. "That’s enough baby. You don’t have to protect me. Instead, I’ll protect you, okay? So, it’s okay."

Rachael’s hand was bleeding. Particulars of the plate must’ve pricked her.

"You...How dare you?" The lady with a ruined face got up and flared. She screamed and raised her hand to slap them but Alexa caught her hand and glared at her.

"I thought I said, that’s enough." She said, her grip on her hand tightening.

"How dare you touch me? A filthy thing like you. If you leave even a single bruise, I’ll make sure to make you, as well as your entire family pay the price. But you would never be able to afford it even to your grave."

Rachael snapped once again. She could never handle the fact of her mother getting insulted by anyone. She got out of her mother’s hold, rushed to pick up a plate and was about to smash it on the lady again when someone suddenly snatched the plate from her.

She looked up to see it was Raymond. As soon as she saw her father, her mind seemed to calm down a bit and she gave way to tears for some reason.

"Daddy." She cried. "Daddy," she raised her hand, requesting to be carried and Raymond carried her up in her arms.

"I’m here." He said, petting her with pats. He looked at Alexa who gave out a sigh of relief and then turned with a deadly gaze to the lady. "I quite recall someone saying they would help me teach my kid a lesson."

The lady flinched and immediately switched attitude. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

"That’s just because of what she did. Look what your daughter did." She said, pointing at her sons who had gotten help from the waiters and had the sauce cleaned from their clothes were ruined. "And looked at this." She pointed at her face. "Your daughter is out of control. She must’ve picked up some bad habit from where she came from."

Raymond squinted his eyes.

"Where she came from." He repeated and looked at the plate on the table. "And where exactly do you think she came from? Who could’ve possibly taught her to behave like this?"

The lady, misunderstanding Raymond’s question, thought he planned to reprimand his daughter and blurted out whatever was on her mind.

’The child’s mother isn’t here so maybe she’s a loose woman. She must have a horrible character that Raymond Stein doesn’t want to show.’ she thought and got ahead of herself. "Who knows? Maybe she got it from her mother. She must’ve had a really bad character and a filthy personality for her to teach your child such barbaric acts and..."

A plate was once again smashed on this lady’s face and she fell to the ground, shocked as to why that suddenly happened and with trembling eyes, looked up at Raymond who took a step closer to her with deadly eyes.

"You seem to have gotten it wrong."
