After Heather finished washing up herself, she went over to help Nian Shen out of bed.

Her height made her a perfect makeshift support. She steadied him as they headed into the bathroom, diligently helping him brush his teeth and wash his face.

Washing his face proved a bit tricky. Since his injury was on his back, bending over caused him some pain. So, Heather tiptoed, applied some facial cleanser to his face, worked it in for a while, then wet a towel and carefully wiped it clean for him.

The same went for shaving.

It was her first time ever shaving a man, so she was a bit inexperienced and nearly nicked his skin with the razor out of carelessness.

"Lower your head a bit," Heather said, concentrating intently on his chin. Perhaps because it was her first time doing this, she was even more serious about it. "Don’t move, okay? This is my first time shaving someone. If you move, my hands might tremble."
