How to Tame a Villain Character-Chapter 249: Little Angel
Chapter 249: Chapter 249: Little Angel
The day of the equestrian competition has arrived. All the competition participants were already riding their respective horses and were in position to wait for the signal. In competing, Harry also competed with Kyle, as always Kyle really wanted to beat Harry even though they were friends.
While waiting for the signal, Harry’s eyes immediately fell on his wife who was occupying the executive class bench with the members of the Scarlet Community. Not caring that everyone in the audience was talking about him, he waved goodbye to his wife openly.
Claudia also waved at her husband from the audience seat. She laughed happily because she didn’t expect her husband to suddenly greet her before the competition started without any embarrassment.
"Harry is very sweet, even though he will soon be fighting to win the competition," said Claudia in a spoiled tone.
"But, I don’t want to let your husband win the competition," argued Clarissa curtly.
Claudia folded her arms. "I didn’t expect you to be the unsportsmanlike type, Clarissa. It’s not certain that Kyle can win this time."
"I can predict Kyle will win. Moreover, he has been practicing every day."
"Harry has also been working hard to train while he is busy taking care of the hotel."
"Hey, can you guys stop arguing just because you show off your husband’s abilities!" complained Larissa covering her ears.
"Good, Larissa. My ears also hurt hearing this unimportant debate." Alice gave a thumbs up while covering her ears.
"Alfonso will also compete with Harry and Kyle. But I’m not showing off his abilities too much."
Claudia nudged Larissa’s hand. "So, how is your relationship now?"
Larissa smiled shyly as she looked at the prince who was chatting with the Duke. "It’s true what Harry said. Alfonso actually liked me all this time. I also realized my true feelings that I really liked him."
Suddenly, the sound of a gun shot was heard, indicating that the equestrian competition had begun. Claudia kept shouting Harry’s name to encourage Harry not to give up easily halfway. Every day he always gives prince the best quality carrots, then every afternoon he spends time practicing horse riding. Claudia didn’t want what her husband had been fighting for, for a month, to end in vain even though she didn’t really expect him to get first place.
The positions between Harry, Kyle, and Alfonso were slightly different, almost reaching the finish line in sight. Harry whispered to prince for a moment while looking at his wife who was still screaming his name.
"Prince, I ask for your cooperation one last time today. I don’t want to disappoint my wife and don’t want her hoarse voice from constantly calling my name to go to waste."
Because prince already knew his master’s wishes, prince spontaneously increased his speed until he finally reached the finish line, followed by Kyle and Alfonso, who were only a slight distance apart.
Claudia cried with emotion when she saw her husband win the competition. As a celebration to celebrate his victory, she hugged Clarissa who was also happy to see Kyle win in second place.
"Congratulations, Harry finally managed to get first place!" said Clarissa happily.
"By the way, aren’t you sad to see Kyle come in second place?"
Clarissa shook her head. "No, I’m actually very proud to see Kyle get second place. Maybe this time he won’t get first place. He will get first place one day."
Larissa patted Claudia on the shoulder. "I’m also proud to see Harry win first place. You should celebrate his victory with him. We won’t disturb your date." Larissa’s eyes focused on Prince Alfonso who saw her when he got the medal. "I will also celebrate Alfonso’s victory after this."
When the spectator seats started to empty and the competitors had changed their clothes in the changing room, Claudia was still waiting for her husband’s arrival in the spectator seats, stroking her stomach. Actually, she wanted to look for her husband, but he insisted on telling her to wait in the supporter bench so she wouldn’t bump into other visitors.
"Claudia!" Harry shouted while waving his hand making Claudia widen a happy smile.
Claudia welcomed her husband’s arrival with a tight hug. "I am very proud of you, Harry. Your struggle all this time has not ended in vain. Our baby is also very happy and proud to see your victory today."
Harry stroked his wife’s bulging stomach. "Thank you for supporting me too, my baby. I brought medal gifts for you and your mother."
"I want to go home, Harry." Claudia whined while swinging her beloved husband’s hand.
Upon arrival at their residence, Harry led his wife into the baby room that they had prepared. He put his medal on the table beside the crib.
"I can’t wait to have you in this world, my baby," said Harry, slowly stroking his wife’s stomach.
"But, aren’t you curious whether our baby will be a girl or a boy? Even though I’m not yet seven months pregnant."
"I don’t care if our baby is a boy or a girl. I just want you and our baby to always be healthy. Because fighting to keep our baby must be very difficult."
"Because of that, you always forbid me from going on business trips too far because you’re afraid I’ll suddenly get sick." Claudia kissed him on the cheek. "You’re getting more and more protective over time. I really like it."
"I’ve also asked Taylor to make a beautiful dress for you according to the size of your stomach now. Lately you’ve started to complain because your bloated stomach makes you look ugly."
Claudia smiled shyly, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I was worried you would look at me like a ball."
"It’s impossible for me to think of you as a ball even though your stomach is bloated because you’re pregnant with our child. If I accidentally insinuate you’re ugly, you can give me whatever punishment you want."
"Really? Then my punishment is that if I’m craving something in the middle of the night, you have to find food for me."
Without further ado, Harry took his coat while kissing his wife’s forehead. "Then, I’ll find food for you now."
Claudia closed her eyes as she looked at the clock on the wall, showing that it was getting late. "But, are you serious about looking for food at midnight like this?"
"Every day I always look for food that you like so you don’t sulk. I even asked Sarah and Thomas for help."
