Chapter 235: Chapter 235: The Hero Coronation Ceremony Part II

Even though King Godfrey had not expressed his appreciation to the Duchess, everyone cheered loudly and was happy to see that the Duchess was also entitled to the title of number one heroine in the Godnation kingdom. Throughout her life, Claudia first received great appreciation after facing various trials, both in the real world and the novel world.

In the real world, she has never been given this much appreciation. Every time she does something she thinks is something to be proud of, she never gets praise from anyone. Every time she told Linnon about it, she always responded flatly as if Linnon wasn’t really interested in hearing about something new she had achieved.

Meanwhile, in the novel world, she was given appreciation that was far above her expectations. Everyone really respects and appreciates her, especially her husband who always appreciates the results of her hard work. This was the main reason she didn’t want to return to the real world, because if she returned, she would have no one.

"I, King Godfrey, really appreciate the results of the hard work of Duchess Claudia Ambelynn, who has cared more about justice and truth. Without Duchess Claudia’s help, the fate of the children of Only Hope Orphanage would be even more miserable and the residents of San Marina would be in danger if she did not act quickly. Therefore, for all your contributions to helping Duke Harry to save everyone, including the Scarlet Community, I will crown you as the number one female hero in the Godnation kingdom."

Everyone applauded enthusiastically to welcome the Duke and Duchess who had just received the title of hero full of honor from the king directly. All of Claudia’s closest friends from the Scarlet Community were happy and proud to see their friend who deserved the title of honorary hero because they still remember the rescue action that Claudia and Harry took when their lives were in danger.

When the hero coronation ceremony had ended, the next event was for the newly crowned hero to ride a horse-drawn carriage to tour the Edenburgh city. However, before that, Harry was called by King Godfrey because there was something important that the king wanted to convey personally.

"Your Majesty, thank you for holding a very lively hero coronation ceremony for my wife and me," said Harry bowing respectfully.

Godfrey smiled happily and patted the Duke’s arm. "Actually, the hero coronation ceremony was entirely Claudia’s idea. I just followed her idea."

Harry’s eyes filled with tears when he found out that his wife actually played an important role in preparing this ceremony which was a lively one. In fact, he had already guessed it when he found out that the coronation ceremony coincided with his birthday and that his wife had worked too hard today preparing all this to lose track of time.

"Happy birthday, Harry. Thanks to Claudia, I remembered your birthday too."

"But, why did you hide it from me?"

"Claudia insisted on asking me to keep her plans a secret as a surprise for your birthday. I still don’t understand why Claudia loves you more than she loves herself."

"But, regarding the heroine’s coronation for Claudia, is that part of the plan too?"

"No. Indeed, from the start I wanted to appreciate her because she managed to make you look like a real human. Since you started a relationship with her, your attitude has changed to be affectionate." Godfrey patted the Duke’s shoulder again. "Your desire to live in San Marina with your wife for a long time, I will not hinder your wish. In fact, you should take a break after going through all this trouble."

Harry bowed respectfully. "Thank you for all your kindness, Your Majesty."

"Now you go accompany your wife in the horse-drawn carriage. She definitely can’t wait to ride in the horse-drawn carriage with you."

Harry didn’t want to miss precious moments with his wife on this special day. They walked together out of the palace, greeted by several palace soldiers escorting them around the horse-drawn carriage. Harry helped his wife into the horse-drawn carriage, then he sat next to her.

"Claudia, I finally found out the hero’s coronation ceremony was entirely your idea."

"Did King Godfrey tell you directly earlier?"

Harry laughed mischievously, pinching his wife’s soft cheek. "Actually, I started to suspect it from the moment you told me the date of the hero coronation ceremony. Then, you worked until you knew no time."

"Did you like the birthday gift I got you today?"

"I like it very much." Happy tears rolled down his cheeks. "I feel like I want time to stop here because I really like the most special moments on my birthday."

"If you want time to stop suddenly, don’t you want to get married? Didn’t you promise to hold a wedding for us in three weeks?"

"I definitely haven’t forgotten about it because I want you to think our wedding is more special this time."

When the horse-drawn carriage began to circle the Edenburgh city, all the people lined up to welcome the arrival of the two honorary heroes of the palace on the side of the highway. All the people cheered Harry as the best hero in the history of the Godnation kingdom. For the first time he heard that everyone considered him a human, making him even more confident in raising his head.

Claudia showed a happy smile as she looked at her husband who continued to wave at everyone because he was finally welcomed by everyone in this kingdom.

"I am very happy to see that everyone likes you now."

"Actually, I’m still not used to it because I’ve always been considered a monster."

"Because everyone now likes you, I want you not to be afraid of anyone anymore. Today is the day you show yourself that you are just an ordinary person who saved their lives all this time. Keep your head up and never look down again."

To express his happiness, Harry kissed the back of his wife’s hand where the diamond ring was visible. "Thank you for changing my life, Claudia. Thank you for being a part of my life."
