Chapter 204: Chapter 204: Strange Things

Claudia’s eyes filled with tears looking at Harry who continued to look for her while screaming until his voice started to get hoarse. Initially Claudia wanted to go straight to her husband. However, is this a trap? How did Harry know his wife was being kidnapped? If she looks at Rudolf’s expression which is not angry, is this Rudolf inviting Harry in the middle of the war?

"You didn’t go to your husband?"

Claudia swallowed nervously. "Is this a trap? You deliberately invited Harry here to kill him?"

Rudolf laughed so loudly that it made the entire clock tower echo. "I dare kill my own son? Why would I do it? I didn’t invite him anyway." His eyes narrowed. "It’s more likely that you contact him, right!"

Her head shook quickly. "No. I swear I didn’t bring Harry here. If you don’t believe me, you can look at my cell phone history. I haven’t contacted him in a long time."

"Okay. I’ll let you go to him. Don’t you miss him?"

Claudia folded her arms. "Actually, I’m still curious about what you invited me here for."

"To take you for a walk. Aren’t you bored of staying in the city of Edenburgh?" Rudolf’s eyes fell on his son who was standing in front of the clock tower. "You should just go to him. Don’t you two miss each other?"

"He and I are officially divorced. Why do I miss him?"

"At least you must miss him a little because you have always been treated like a queen by him."

Claudia clenched her fists tightly. "Is this not a trap? If I had actually approached Harry, you wouldn’t have killed him?"

"I’ve said it many times. I won’t kill you and your husband!"

"Okay, I’ll go to him now."

Without further ado, Claudia ran quickly down the stairs out of the clock tower which was quite high. Even though her heels were a little peeled because she was running in heels, she didn’t want to miss the golden opportunity to greet her husband after being separated for a day.

Arriving outside the clock tower, Claudia stood up straight while catching her breath. "Harry!!"

Harry suddenly turned his head to look at the figure of his beloved wife who looked anxious. He immediately ran to her then grabbed her hand.

"We shouldn’t stay here too long," said Harry frantically.

"Harry... I missed you."

"Me too."

Harry led Claudia to a chair in an outdoor cafe. He checked the physical condition from head to toe. Staring at her slightly bleeding heels, Harry just sighed in resignation.

"I’ve told you many times, if you want to run, you should just wear shoes!" Harry took a bandage out of his trouser pocket.

"Actually, I didn’t know it would be like this. The story is very long." Her eyes narrowed. "By the way, how did you know I was here? Did your father call you?"

"No. But Thomas was the one who contacted me earlier. He got a report from Kyle that you were suddenly threatened." Harry put a bandage on his wife’s injured area.

"I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have troubled you in the middle of a war."

Harry shook his head. "None of this is your fault. In fact, I suspect that the bastard deliberately sent troops into the area as a diversion so he could kidnap you."

"The villain is now in the clock tower. He put a big gun in the hole in the tower."

"As I thought he was very cunning!"

"But, you didn’t bring all the palace knights here, did you?"

"I’ve asked for help from several teams of secret agents to make sure there are no bombs throughout the San Marina. I asked them to do it secretly so they don’t get caught."

Claudia nodded. "I also previously asked Vivian to do the same thing."

Harry’s forehead furrowed when he heard his wife’s name, which was not usually spoken casually. "Vivian? Did I hear correctly?"

"She wants to turn herself in. But, before that I ask for his help because the only person who can save us is Vivian." Her right hand was clenched. "Your father can track my cell phone, it would be dangerous if I contacted everyone using my cell phone."

"It turns out that Vivian is also useful in times of crisis like this."

"So, now what should we do? Are we really trapped here?"

"No. I’ll take you home safely. Several secret agents have now surrounded this area. So, it’s impossible for that bastard to do anything wrong."

Harry stretched out his hand and showed a happy smile. "Come on, let’s go home, Claudia!"

Hearing her husband enthusiastically invite her home, a sweet smile appeared on her beautiful face again. "It seems like you can’t wait to live with me again."

"Because today it is certain that victory is in our hands. That bastard won’t dare do anything again."

"But, to be honest, I still feel something is suspicious. Why has that bastard been silent all this time even though we’ve always been together?"

"Didn’t he bring you here just to scare you?"

"Could it be possible that there wasn’t actually a bomb?"

"I still haven’t gotten a report until now. We’ll see if that bastard is really playing with you or not."

Claudia decided to follow her husband walking down the middle of the road, holding his hand. Even though they looked calm at the moment, the situation in the clock tower was getting tense.

Rudolf smiled psychopathically and was ready to aim his rifle at his daughter-in-law’s body. "Enough fun, my daughter-in-law. Now it’s time for you to catch up with your family."

Hearing the sound of gunfire coming from the clock tower, Harry spontaneously immediately hugged his wife’s body quickly. Even though his body was covered in a special and rare bulletproof vest in the palace, one bullet could penetrate the bulletproof vest and hit his body. He slowly let go of the hug while stepping back to stay away from his wife’s blood-stained body.

Meanwhile, Claudia’s body froze as she turned around to see Harry’s body slumped on the asphalt. Her tears broke even more when she saw this incident, which was exactly like what happened in a nightmare.

"No!!"
