We needed privacy, and since Diane had destroyed the door to our old room, Sarah and I began moving our things to the room next door where the other girls were sleeping.

"Ahh," Sarah let out a deep sigh. "There are only four beds here. Where are Rick and I supposed to sleep?"

"Rick will sleep in that bed over there," Alicia said calmly.

"Alicia, but that’s your bed," Diane said.

"And what’s the problem?" Alicia asked, her eyes closed as if she didn’t care about such a trivial detail.

"Uraaaah!" Erina shouted just before jumping on Alicia’s bed.

"Hey, what do you think you’re doing? What would you do if you broke my bed?"

"Relax, princess, I’m not heavy enough to break this bed," Erina said in a laid-back tone. "And I think it’s still big enough for our big guy over there to sleep in too."

Erina’s eyes were fixed on me. The woman with the messy bun was licking her lips.

"Take your mind out of the gutter, Erina," Justine said in a serious voice.

"Are you jealous, Justine? Want to sleep with me like when we were kids?" Erina said, moving the fingers of her open hand like tentacles, her eyes fixed on Justine’s bust. "But be careful, Justine, I might end up grabbing your titties during the night."

Justine just looked coldly at her old friend and said, "Drop dead."

"You’re too serious, you know that? You’ll end up with crow’s feet."

"No one would want to sleep next to you, Erina. You move too much while you sleep, and you snore too loudly," Alicia said to her.

"It’s not the time to joke, Erina," Justine said, glancing at Sarah from the corner of her eye. "We still have some explaining to do."

Sarah was still tense as she looked at both of them, as if she were preparing to be attacked at any moment. Diane stood with her arms crossed and her back against the wall, just watching from the corner of the room, but it was clear she was suspicious of the two of them.

Erina sighed, noticing those eyes on them. "You’re right. It seems those two won’t calm down either way."

We spent some time telling Sarah the whole story. Diane didn’t react while I was speaking, probably because she had already heard everything from Alicia the night before. I was just confirming the details.

"So you’re saying you defeated the descendant of a legendary monster all by yourself?" Sarah asked with wide eyes.

"I didn’t defeat the Wolf Lord alone. Erina and Justine gave me backup during the beginning of the fight, and if Alicia hadn’t supported me, I would have died," I told her. It wasn’t false modesty on my part—I simply couldn’t see that victory as my achievement alone.

"But even so, it’s still incredible!" she said, looking at me with admiration in her eyes.

A considerable part of her life had been dedicated to fighting monsters with a sword, so it made sense that she would be impressed by the fact that I had faced a living legend with nothing but a single blade and lived to tell the story.

But then her expression changed, as if an unpleasant thought had crossed her mind. Sarah then grumbled at me, "So after that fight, Alicia helped you deal with the side effect of Ero Boost, right? Eh, it must be nice..."

Sarah’s voice was filled with jealousy toward Alicia, and the princess responded to Sarah’s deadly stares with a big smug smile.

I didn’t want to lie to Sarah. She was my first Valkyrie and the best girl of SCRL. She meant so much to me that I couldn’t just hide that from her. I would get in trouble with Alicia and Erina, but I decided to tell the truth either way.

"What?" Sarah, Alicia, and Erina said in unison, surprised by my announcement. Justine remained quiet, looking at the floor in shame.

I immediately regretted what I had just done. Telling the truth was a bad idea. Before, I had to deal with one wife with killing intent. Now I had to deal with three. Thankfully, Diane didn’t join them, but I noticed her eyes looking at me.

"When did that happen?" Erina asked, dumbfounded.

"Two nights ago. You and Alicia were sleeping, so I..." Justine said, starting to explain while still embarrassed about the situation.

"So you sneakily went to have some fun with Rick?" Erina said.

"You’re such a hypocrite, Justine," Erina said, looking at her with disgust. "You treat me badly when I act like a pervert, but you’re even worse."

Alicia’s cheeks were puffed, she was clearly angry at me and didn’t want to talk to me. But when I looked at Sarah, the girl just sighed even more deeply than before, "Do you know that you are too honest for your own good?"

Alicia and I smiled when we heard Diane approving the two of them. But the assassin hadn’t finished speaking. In the blink of an eye, she moved her face very close to Erina’s face.
